Some wonderful experience. Excellent service as always in Disney. Food quality good but not outstanding, better than expected. However, seating for breakfast is NOT sufficient. Waited a long queue before seated. Not good.
The hotel is pretty basic but you probably don't spend much time in the room itself. But watching the kids face light when Mickey and Minnie walk in during breakfast makes it super special.

Several reasons that this place did not meet the expectations, especially that it's a "Disney" hotel which holds the brand name of a business that is associated with family, fun, happiness, etc. I will list a few of my observations here: (1) Families who come from overseas to Hong Kong, come mostly for Disneyland, but the hotel lacks a friendly shuttle service from the airport at reasonable rates, especially that it's located near the airport. Language barrier made the transport from the airport an unpleasant experience. (2) When we arrived at the hotel we were surprised when the receptionist told us that because they have lots of group travelers so they can't guarantee a spot for us in the breakfast buffet in the morning. Honestly, I've never heard this before in any hotel during my thirty years of travel. (3) As Muslims, we expected to have some "Halal" food options, but that was not there at all. Maybe travelers from Islamic countries are not a target audience for this resort, but Halal food in general is suitable not only for Muslims. (4) The restaurant does not serve food for the pool area, which is quite unusual. For any hotel that I've been to before, one could always order food at the pool. At this hotel, we had to buy food in take-away packs.
