Hotel has an insane policy where if you don't check in by 6pm or notify them of a late arrival, they cancel your booking and give your room away. We had a delayed flight and did contact then, even got a confirmation email so we know they recieved it, yet we were still left to walk the streets of Beijing at 2am after a 18 hour day trying to find somewhere to stay. Night staff do not speak English and are disgustingly rude. No apology and all the blame was put on us.
