This place was amazing. Miguel is a really good host with a lot of stories to tell. Really funny guy. We love how cozy the rooms are, he was able to accommodate some requests we had and also have us good recommendations. The house is cover on art work from different artists which is lovely and the kitchen is fully equipped! Bathrooms are nice as well as the view from our room!
Miguel is born to accommodate travelers. He does it with passion and thus his home exudes a very pleasant atmosphere. Can only recommend to join the tour he offers as well.

The hostal is beautifully decorated, a short walk away from everything, and very clean. The owner is also so kind and helpful. He was so helpful giving us tips on where to go in Chiloé and even helped set up a tour for us. He was so quick to pull out his big map and show us what’s good haha! He was so helpful staying up for our late check-in, helping set up my wet shoes by the oven, even offering we try locally made jams of his for our breakfast, etc. You can tell he really cares about making this place a home! If I ever come back to Castro (which I very much want to, to experience the summer season as well) I will stay here again. It’s a one of a kind place.
