Antofagasta Region Hotels

The hotel is near a Jumbo shop. But there is nothing to do near, and several people say that the place is quite insecure at night. So better keep inside the hotel or call a uber if you wanna go out.

Very nice and comfortable rooms.
And it's not that expensive.

Great hotel!
It's a little bit far from centre, but I loved it!
Very clean, big rooms, nice breakfast.

Amazing, wonderful view of the pool towards the volcano.
Advisable.

✨The best hostel I stayed in South America so far✨10 out of 10
Every corner is impeccably clean, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, common areas.

Most organized hostel I’ve ever stayed in, the lady owner is super friendly. Kitchen is very organized, bedroom is comfortable and even has a cupboard.

I had a fantastic experience at Luna Chañares. For a traveler like me, who prefers discovering places independently and without the stress of organized tours, this accommodation is absolutely perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Fauna Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama and could not recommend it highly enough.

This place is an absolute gem! The rooms are amazing — standalone cottages with their own heating systems, making them both quiet and cozy.

Lovely place, very close to Caracoles, the main street. César, Valentina, and the rest of the staff were amazing and kind. They really looked after their guests.

Great location near Caracoles Street. Clean room and good price. Mario and his wife are excellent persons. When our tours left early in the morning they prepared us a bag with drinks and sandwiches.

Perfect! Ten minute walk from bus station, and ten minute walk into the centre of San Pedro (along a dusty road). The communal area is beautifully done and a really peaceful place to hang out.

It was amazing! Another hostel cancelled on us a day before we got there and Victor immediately helped us out.

The owner/staff were very kind and helpful. Quite accommodating and enjoyed my stay.

The best hostel I stumbled upon by chance! It’s located in a quiet and cozy area very close to the bus terminal. The village center is just a short walk away.
The host is absolutely amazing.

The hostel is very clean, with an amazing view from the terrace. Good kitchen, comfortable bed, very good hot shower. The location is wonderful, very close to the center, but quiet.

Lovely cabins 5 minutes outside San Pedro. Facilities are very good and the hosts are lovely people who have made our stay even better.

This is a nice place, family run accommodation. Comfy large rooms. For this Location better have a car.

We had a lovely stay at Lodge Don Julio. We were able to check in earlier than expected, which was such a welcome start after travelling.

Good value rooms for couples. The room was very clean, they cleaned it every day while we were there. There was a nice hot shower and Wi-Fi, although the internet was not the fastest.

Fantastic stay at Travel House Hostal!
The manager, Seb, gave us a perfect welcome! He's very friendly, a real pleasure to meet him.

The hostel was simply wonderful. Even though I made a mistake with my reservation, I was warmly welcomed and taken care of, even when arriving in the middle of the night.

Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped with cooking facilities, utensils, water, tea and coffee. Manuel was friendly and helpful.

Very sweet and personable staff. You're not in tourist central and rather are staying in the part of town where more locals are. Wi-Fi is spotty and not super reliable.

We were a bit disappointed at first as the room was very small.

Pros:
Excellent location: only about a 7-10 minute walk to the Main Street of Caracoles, so peaceful at night. Comfortable bed (I had booked the triple), and quite spacious.

Our stay in Ckoinatur is comfortable and rooms are clean, the kitchen is small yet well equiped. Although the lady staff does not speak English, she is lovely and try her best to serve us.

We rented a room for three people. It was very spacious and clean. The host was very gentle and helpful and the price was very reasonable. City center is 5 minutes walking away.

This is a great place, the owner is amazing, he’s really helpful and did so much to help make our stay great.

I’ve only just arrived at this hostal and I can already say it’s one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in my life. The owner Pablo is a legend, he’s so lovely and so helpful.

Fantastic stay. Great location, easy walk into town and a safe neighbourhood at night. Room had everything we needed for a few days, including a small kitchen with cooking utensils.

We had a terrific stay, couldn’t recommend highly enough!
