Best resort hotel in the Caribbean!

Honestly the best week in a hotel/resort we have had. The principle reason is due to the staff. A high end resort staffed by an entire team of personable individuals frankly made the whole 7 days stand out. If you are thinking of visiting Cayman we would thoroughly recommend the Kimpton.

The entire experience was awesome. The bathroom products are to die for.

Amazing pool. Amazing beach. Amazing staff. Cannot wait to return.

This is a wonderful hotel. Everyone has been very kind. Lots to do. Stand up boards, snorkeling, jet skis, the food is excellent. We were a little disappointed that the spa was under restorations. But it is September and this is the quiet time of year for them, which I feel is a plus for us. It’s been fabulous. Will definitely come back again.

I don’t even know where to start… this resort is absolutely stunning. They have done such an amazing job from decorating the interiors to landscaping the outdoors, it looks like a magazine spread. The staff are phenomenal. Everyone greets you and gets to know you, and you feel like family with the personal attention and pampering. Huge shout out to Lazlo and Sudan at restaurant Ave, Robert and Gabriel at the pool, and Faustina and Thalia in the lobby. And all of the amazing gentlemen at the front who helped us with transportation and were the first to greet us upon on our arrival back to the resort every day! The food was always delicious and tasted so fresh. We could not recommend Ave enough. Their breakfast buffet is the perfect start to any day. The fresh fruit infused waters that they have placed all around the resort were also a very welcomed treat! 10/10, A+, 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I love this hotel because of their amazing customer service, it is truly the best of the best. I’ve booked weekends there but I went to the spa there today and it is truly the best experience I’ve ever had.

Staff service is exelent, and very friendly starting with Simon whom I know for many years ago, and he always have a smile to greet his customers.

From start to finish, this weekend has been amazing. Of particular note are the housekeeping, coffee shop, in-room dining (Joanne), and spa staff. Couples massage with Caleb and Raj was perfect. We ate in all of the restaurants and the Sunday Brunch was outstanding. We will be back.

The Seafire is an absolutely amazing hotel. I have never in my life been on a vacation where I am talking about the next vacation back until we visited the Seafire and Grand Cayman. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the resort spectacular, the staff friendly and helpful, the food delicious, and the beach amazing. We had plans to sight see, eat outside the resort, and really only spend all day at the resort for 2 of our 5 days. We ended up eating only one meal off property and left for only 1 day (plus two short excursions) because we were so relaxed and happy at the resort. Thank you to the Seafire staff for making sure I returned home happy and relaxed. Looking forward to our next visit!

We've just returned from our stay there this past week, and their service was impeccable. From beach service, to the restaurants, the pool, housekeeping and turndown service, concierge, front desk and valets, everyone knew us and we did our best to remember them as well. We had a magical time at Kimpton. Our room was perfect, the hotel and grounds were amazing. Everything we needed was down at the pool and beach — we just had to bring ourselves. Alex was so helpful each day we went to the beach and we loved having the snorkel and paddle boards available. Thank you for an amazing vacation!

Such an amazing experience! It truly brings the five-star experience back to five-star resorts. This is the best place to stay in the Caymans! Hands down.

Beautiful place, I believe this is the newest resort on the island. Everyone on the staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. Food and drink was also top notch — our favorite spot was Cocoloba on the beach. Three beautiful pools and a large beach area. Water sports available, sailing, scuba diving, parasailing, paddle boards, snorkeling, etc. My wife had a massage in the Spa, said it was the best she’d ever had. Be aware if you’re spending US dollars prices are in Cayman dollars, the exchange rate added about 20% to menu / merchandise prices.

This hotel might be my favorite vacation experience. It is luxurious in an exotic location. The property is impeccable and is extremely well cared for. What sets this hotel apart is the staff. It feels like they hire good people who have the freedom to be themselves. The first day there I felt like I had a new set of best friends.

This place is what dreams are made of. The moment you drive up your mouth should drop, especially at night when the gorgeous lights are on in the landscape. As soon as you enter, you realize that every square inch is touched with some sort of interior design MAGIC. I have never walked through a place that left me in so much awe and inspiration. The staff were so lovely, especially at the bar which we came specifically for as we weren’t actually guests of the hotel (but trust me I will be staying here the next time I’m on the island — I should mention they have bungalow suites you can rent… PERFECT! ) anyways back to the bar story, their drinks are so uniquely created and our server Pato was outstanding. In the end he left a note and said our drinks were paid for — absolutely touching and so unnecessary but we really appreciated it. I was super curious who designed the resort, thinking a design team was contracted out by Kimpton or Dart and he went beyond and found out for me… I will definitely be back to stay — this is incomparable to anything else on the island. Makes the Ritz seem low class.

We loved this resort. The facilities are fantastic, the staff are friendly and very efficient and Massimo is a great food manager (the three restaurants are great). We are already planning our trip back. Fresh coffee (including a cold brew option), wine in the afternoon and fresh water at the beach every day. You can go on a snokerling or diving trip right off the beach. All water sports are included in the daily fee. The gym is very good for a resort and they have daily classes. Thank you to the Kimpton management for running the best hotel on the Island.

I can't say enough about this fabulous resort and all of the wonderful staff! We traveled to Grand Cayman for my twin sons' 7th birthday celebration. We arrived to a magnificent and totally unexpected spread of all things birthday! We were absolutely spoiled the entire vacation. The resort pools and poolside service were excellent. We stayed in an oceanfront bungalow that was just steps from the breathtaking beach. We couldn't get enough of the restaurant on the beach, Coccoloba… the best tacos and views! We didn't want to leave and can not wait to be able to return! This is the must stay resort on Grand Cayman, I can't imagine a more spectacular vacation!

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The attention to detail is amazing, every single staff member (0 exceptions) was kind and helpful and went out of their way to make you happy. So many little details like water with fresh fruit on the beach, wine greeting you when you check in, amazing turn down service, sunscreen and bug spray provided… I could go on and on. We are are kimpton family for life after staying here.

Hugely enjoyable stay in a stunning / beautifully designed hotel. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great location on the beach. One of the best buffet breakfasts I've had anywhere in the world. Don't be put off by the early reviews after opening. Every new venture has their teething problems. We had no problems whatsoever. If a nice view from your room is important to you (never an issue to us) then book a sea view as some rooms do look out over a barren area that's due for development. My family and I had a great time. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

We have traveled all over the Caribbean and have stayed at the best resorts the area has to offer. The Kimpton Seafire Resort is easily one of the best resorts we have stayed at. From the time we arrived and during our stay, we have been "wowed" many times over. Before we came down, our concierge Megan Rowe made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She arranged for popcorn for our kids when we arrived and had beach toys for them in the room. The service was amazing. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. With a family with two small kids, the accommodation and service was a godsend. The rooms. What can I say about the rooms. It was truly our home away from home and we were so comfortable that we slept in every morning that we were there. The decor was beautiful and the hotel was modern. It had every comfort you could think of the the USA. The beaches and pool were amazing as well. All the beach chairs were close to the beach and this section of Seven Mile Beach was so beautiful. Would I come back to this resort? In a heartbeat! Would I recommend this resort? Absolutely! But the proof was in the reaction from my family. They loved this resort and were already asking, "When can we come back. "

We're staying here for about 2 weeks and my 5 year old daughter fell ill. We were very unprepared for this, and did not pack any thermometers. The resort did not have one either, however they sent some one out to purchase one for us, they also sent tea and extra coconut waters to our room. With their help she felt a whole lot better the next day. Also for my son's birthday they sent him cards and gifts on two separate occasions. This is what I call platinum service. We travel a lot to other countries and have never had this type of service. Thank you very much.

Excellent experience. The property is beautiful with amazing views from both sides of the hotel. The food, cocktails, and service were excellent as well. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Cool decor and a huge bathroom. Great property and a great experience.

The resort is stunning, all new, staff is amazing and extremely courteous, attentive… can’t say enough good things about the people. Seafire Kimpton has the most beautiful spa — ever. (thank you Sherry! ). Spa is a must see award winning experience. Hotel and all of its amenities make for a fluid vacation with lots to do and open spaces to do it in. Loved it!

Absolutely loved our stay here over Memorial Day weekend. Technically a slow time here but we enjoyed breaks from sun with clouds and a few sprinkles plus nothing was overcrowded. Breakfast in the library every morning — got healthy fruits and yogurt from the shop and free coffee while reading work emails and yes even some books. Days at the pool and beach with outstanding service and seats with real shade. Healthy lunch at Cocoloba and great dinners (Brasserie and Blue off site then Ave). Room was awesome ocean view totally worth it on a spacious balcony great shower and amenities. Only criticism would be some help to dry off seats and floor of balcony in rooms after rains. We will be back!

So we have been here for 4 nights so far and have 3 nights left. The house keepers here are amazing. We have had a few… room 717… We needed a refrigerator, they got it! We asked for a coffee pot, they got it! I needed water and it arrived. The 3 different house keeper we've gotten have been wonderful. The facility is beautiful and clean. The one tip is give you is don't close down wine hour or coffee and tea time early. We got there 5 min. Till and it was closed… coffee to me is like my way to make it each day. Wine time is very relaxing. And the drink miximg Machine at the pool bar that closers at 6 seemed to close at 530. Would have had another. Need a new toaster in the pantry. It's burners are burned out. Amongst all that You have a very nice clean facility. Workers are extremely nice. I appreciate the hospitality. Pool boy Alex, waitress Georgina, and all the house keepers on the 7th floor. Thank you.

Went to the Ave restaurant and would highly recommend. Make a reservation and ask for outside seating. The views are amazing and overlook the beach and water. Food is some of the best I've ever had including the Snapper I had with crisp skin and fantastic preparation. The grilled octopus was an amazing appetizer and worth a try. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and everything from drinks to food was as you'd expect from this fantastic hotel group. While it's a bit pricey, it's really no more pricey than most restaurants on the island as food in general is expensive. Go and enjoy!

Top notch hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the only place in island that reminds me of Maui. The staff are all fantastic, helpful, friendly, as you would expect, of course. Billiards in the lobby are a great touch that my son loves to play whenever we go. You MUST get a massage from Caleb, best masseur on island.

This place is amazing. A little ways off from the crowded streets downtown but we'll worth the drive for the secluded beach and quiet poolsides. The water is clear, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are cozy.

The resort is brand new, gorgeous, clean, modern, and on a superior section of the beach. Hotel staff are extremely attentive, kind and helpful. The resort also has a half or full day kids club, enabling parents to experience actual relaxation on the beach or in the spa.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Clean and nice staff. Resort also has sailing boats. And an informal Mexican place right on the beach.

Our 2nd visit this year, and we rate this hotel as one of the best in CI… and we’ve stayed at nearly all of the top hotels here for the 28 years we’ve been coming here. Kimpton is at the end of 7-Mile Beach and has the least traffic on its beaches from the Cruise Ship visitors that arrive 6-days a week… the only place better here, is our place.

Nice place to stay. Staff was excellent. Very clean facilities. The restaurants on site are nice but limited. The resort is in an area that is still under construction so pretty much any room you get you will overlook a construction site. The public beach is right next to the resorts beach but the resort's security does a good job with controlling encroachment. There is a beach bar on the public beach that is pretty loud late in the evening. You have to keep your patio door closed if you done's want to hear the music.

We stayed at this resort in early December and have nothing but wonderful memories from this resort. We had a great experience, they were very accommodating and welcoming, the rooms were spacious and very clean and the food was some of the best available on the island. We ate breakfast at Ave every morning and the food was delicious; For dinner and lunch we went to coccoloba quite a bit and the food there was delicious, the staff there was also exceptional and very friendly. We enjoyed chatting with Arp and Paula while at the restaurant and they made our time at the restaurant more welcoming, they were very accommodating of our kids food allergies and our dietary restrictions. We hope to visit the island again, and when we do this is the only resort we will be staying at.

Kimpton Seafire in Cayman was magnificent in every way for me and my family. From arrival to departure. Their unique style and design is unmatched anywhere I've visited. All the staff treat you like royalty and the food at all restaurants were amazing. My 5 star goes to all departments we've come in contact with from front office, housekeeping, dining, pool and beach and room service. We will be back. Bassett family.

Gorgeous! We have the 1 bedroom suite oceanfront. The view, the room, the room design and the hotel food is amazing. I have been to several Caribbean Islands, the Maldives and Bali, and I usually stay at The Park Hyatt or The Four Seasons. Neither of these were present in the Caymans which is why I chose the Kimpton. I stayed at a Kimpton a few times in America and loved them. This Kimpton Seafire in the Caymans has topped every location and every 5 star chain I have seen thus far. Wonderful Locals, very clean island, phenomenal hotel amenities and restaurants. I highly recommend the kimpton seafire with no reservations!

This place is amazing! I went here with my husband for 2 days for a wedding stay. The staff is very friendly and they made our experience perfect! We received an upgrade to the Junior Spa Suite. It had a tub for 2 that is perfect for a couples getaway with a shower in the same space. For the quality this place was reasonably priced on the room and on the food and drinks. The restaurant and even the breakfast bar was some of the best food I've ever tasted. Great service on the beach and by the pool. The only complaint is the pool was too cold which is just my preference. Seafire is very well kept and absolutely beautiful! We will be back for our anniversaries! Edit: I want to re-emphasize how amazing the staff is here! The employees here were the best of any place I have ever been. They are so friendly and truly made the stay here special.

Simply magical and a tremendous place to visit. My wife and I chose the Seafire Resort for our honeymoon without ever having been to the Cayman Islands, just based on our positive experiences with Kimpton Hotels. The pictures don't do this place justice (despite the pictures looking amazing). I find myself daydreaming throughout my days back in the Midwest at work, imagining the sounds of the water, the warmth of the sun, and the comfort of the many pools. Five stars all the way.

Contemporary styled hotel. Great staff, food, and drinks! The grounds and landscaping are superb. Walking around is an instagrammers dream. Easy beach access to other fun spots like calicos.

Just returning from an amazing vacation in the Cayman Islands! Upon arrival at the seafire, Tricia Milller & Vanessa were so friendly & made our welcome so nice! The rooms are beautiful and clean as well as the whole property! We had the best food from all the the restaurants and we're made to feel so special at each one of them! The amenities are top notch and endless… there is nothing left out at this property! I could go on and on however, you are wasting time not booking a vacation here! I can't wait to go back, I never want to leave! Thank you all!

Cons: 1 — Hotel open for 9 months, the hotel is still under construction 2 — Food is bad! Seriously not good! The beach resto and the room service in particular. Dry fish, hard veggies, quality of the product was not good! No taste, impossible to finish the plates! (They have a coffee/pastry little store which is cool and good with home made cakes!, great that they didn't place a Starbucks! ) 3 — Fire alarm yelling in the room in the middle of the night! Great to relax! 4 — Elevators not working the only stairs ended in the middle of the kitchen! 5 — So you can order from one of their resto but you have to pick up the food yourself! Like at local pizza joint! Seriously a 5 star where you have to pick up your own food, never seen this EVER! What's the point of having a service business if you don't provide any service! Pros: 1 — Very nice decoration and finishes, lots of cool details in the design. Seems more like a beach house than a hotel, very nice feeling. 2 — Nice people, motivated to help and responsive, great welcome and doesn't feel like those big chains which have the same repetitive speech for each client! 3 — Nice kid pool with a smart shading system 4 — Plenty of room by the pools and beach I'm wondering how they got their 5 diamonds! A lot could be done for improvement…

The place is beautiful and the staff are plentiful and attentive. Service is excellent. Included water sports are very convenient and fun. The snorkeling off the hotel pleasantly surprised us.

The hotel is simply gorgeous. Wonderful view of the pool and beach from my room. The food is pricey but good. Love the morning yoga classes though I didn't get a chance to participate. My only issue was the mosquitoes. They are treacherous. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect getaway. If you want South beach, Cancun college style nightlife, I suggest you wait a couple years before coming here. Otherwise great service, great atmosphere.

At last a 5 star hotel that looks like a 5 star hotel in Cayman.

Looking for a relaxing vacation with a great pool, beach and restaurants a few feet away look no further. Have drinks at the pool or beach will there food and it will not disappoint you. Make sure you get a reservations at the Chef table for a show by the chefs. They will open open your taste buds with fancy laid out dishes. It will open your palette range. And the staff everywhere was pleasant and fun. A must try.

Clean, pretty, very nice staff. They make an effort to make you feel at home, including social events with free wine, and other unscheduled free treats throughout the day. Nice beach access.

We went there for a girls weekend and were there for their opening weekend. Beautiful resort and beach. Service and staff was wonderful. A couple of minor details need to be tweaked but maybe they will fix it after the initial opening — low shower pressure, no shower at the gym, can't order hotel food at the beach, their coffee was often out in the morning and took a long time to refill, they could have used a little shop for advil, toothbrushes, etc. However, these were all minor. The rooms were beautifully designed with lovely lighting, very modern, very child friendly. Lots of places to enjoy our free wine hour from 5 to 6 every night. Delicious drink upon arrival, great gym. Sad to leave.
