Hotels in Barlavento Islands with a Pool

We need had an excellent stay at this hotel and was truly impressed by the level of service and attention to detail throughout the entire experience.

This is a great, quiet hotel which also has an adults only area with pool for those that prefer.

We had 5 amazing days at Casa das Ilhas. Katelijne is an excellent host, taking care of everyone with individual attention. The dinners were tasty.

Wonderful experience. The whole place is a simple heaven on earth. Keep it simple and super nice. Great host and great staff always ready to help.

The staff were absolutely excellent from start to finish. Every member of the team we interacted with was friendly, efficient and happy to help.

My husband and I had a wonderful holiday. From the minute we entered the reception everything went so smooth, they had everything down to a tee. The rooms were lovely with great sized beds.

We stayed for a week and had breakfast every morning. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with lots of choice.
Apartment was good with a comfortable bed and nice balcony.

It was a real pleasure staying in the hotel. The staff and the ovner were really doing a great job helping us in every situation.

Given the remote area and the lack of tourist infrastructure this was by far the best hotel we could find and we recommend it without hesitation.

We enjoyed the hotel so much that we extended our stay by two days. We felt very at home and comfortable. It was great to go for a swim in the pool or relax on a sofa after long walks and tours.

Overall experience perfect. The hotel is really nice, with a lot of entertainment and amazing facilities.

We visited from the 20th to the 27th of December and had an amazing time.

We had a wonderful stay at Luna for a week. It's a perfect place to explore Mindelo. It's quiet because not fully in the center yet very close to the beach.

A brilliant stay in a prime city-center location. Our room was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable, we slept perfectly.

I booked a room through Booking that was supposed to be significantly larger than the one we were initially given. Instead, we received a very small room.

Beautiful accommodation! The apartment was clean and had a gorgeous view. Very close to the beach too. We had a lovely time here.

This was probably the best accommodation we had during our 18 day trip to Cabo Verde. We rented 2 apartments and the 4 bedroom one with the view over Sao Pedro Bay was amazing.

We stayed at the Orquidea Guest House for a couple of nights when we arrived on the island of Boa Vista.

Directly at the beautiful beach, this guesthouse has a lot of atmoshere und friendly people, who host you. Good breakfast, possibility for snorkeling Tours.

Tropical Apartaments Are Quite Good And Very Quite Place no Noise, Good Location nearby Beach,there Stores Around, Few GYMs Nearby also Wifi and is a Perfect Place to Relax For a While, i Recomend it

Stayed here for a week. Very quiet and relaxing. Pool cold initially but felt great once in (January). The gardens were very well looked after. Gardeners seem to work on them every day.

Lovely place — and spotless. Fluffy towels and soft sheets changed regularly. Delicious pancakes for breakfast.

Good sized rooms and bathrooms reasonably breakfast, really good coffee, small but adequate pool.

We arrived around 20:00 for dinner at Americos restaurant on the first floor of the Ouril Hotel right in front of the Mindelo Harbour and ordered some nice starters and main.

A modern and very nice hotel, close by the centre of Mindelo, but not too close. 😉
Great if you want to check out the carnival, and still want to sleep at night.

We have just got back from the hotel dunas de sol.

Used easyJet package for a trip to Cape Verde. Transfers were efficient. The hotel, Dunas de Sal was lovely. A very small hotel but with large clean rooms serviced everyday.

Only stayed for 1 night but it was very comfortable stay. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was a really good size and was very clean. The breakfast was good too.

We’ve stayed for two nights in the hotel. It’s located at the entry of the town. To the harbor and the restaurants it takes around 15 minutes to walk. The hotel is very modern.

This hotel was absolutely great for the cost. We had taken our first trip without our teenage children.

I was only here for 1 night after an island cruise, but overall I was impressed. The room was minimalist but huge, immaculate and close to the ocean. The bathroom was very modern.

Great hotel with very friendly staff and excellent food. A bit further from the beach, but very quiet. The beach bar and sunbeds were excellent. Thank you for the wonderful stay – highly recommended!

I had a great time and stayed twice with them already. The service is great, they help you with anything and and manage your requests. Very clean and cute rooms.

We are truly delighted to write this review for the Blue Eagle Hotel in Santa Maria, Sal (Cape Verde).

The room was bigger than what the pictures show. It’s very close to the beach and where the bars and clubs are. I loved my time there.

Just returned from a weeks stay at Melia Tortuga and was very concerned prior to our arrival having read the negative reviews.

But, shouldn't have worried. Will admit that we had a problem with our allocated room (aircon unit leaking). Asked to be moved, and ended up in a lovely room. Staff were very helpful.

We had a good holiday. Food good, service good, rooms good but need updating, entertainment acceptable'ish.
However there is one very big drawback and that is the pool…!

We spent 2 weeks here and had a great holiday, it was very relaxing and just what we needed.

Charming little hotel set in an old colonial house!

I stayed at the Hilton Cabo Verde Resort for one and a half weeks and, based on what I saw from the outside of other hotels, I truly believe it is one of the best places to stay in Santa Maria, Sal.
