Great to be back here. When in Victoria this is our go to. This time it was a mother-daughter getaway. Amazing views and such close proximity to shops and restaurants. Always have the friendliest staff and great service. Such great care to follow Covid-19 protocol and keep us safe. Food was amazing in both the restaurant and room service.

Hands down the best place to stay in victoria. I go several times a year. The staff is friendly, professional. The hotel is spotless and beautiful to see both inside and out. If you enjoy peace and gardens then book a garden room. The views from the terrace suites in the Erickson wing are stunning. Can’t recommend it enough. The restaurant is also amazing. Views service and food is top notch. Treat yourself and stay here! It never disappoints me.

This place was amazing in all areas. Staff was amazing (especially the guy at the front desk. I feel terrible because I forget his name) rooms beautiful and clean and the food at Aura was unforgettable. All around highly recommended and thanks again for an amazing staycation.

My husband & I stayed here for my birthday. We loved waking up to the Ocean Views, walking along the path to downtown and indulging in a tapa style dinner at Aura. The service was incredible from the moment we arrived to room service with breakfast in bed. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

A very quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Our balcony, and the view from it was exactly what we wanted. We would definitely recommend the Inn to anyone. We were treated very well.

What a wonderful stay. Huge suite, great balcony and the best food from room service we have ever had in any country we have travelled to. We ate in 2 nights and every dish was really good. Even the room service fries were delicious. The deserts deserve a special shout out as do both chicken dishes (and I never order chicken, usually waaay too dull). We had our dog and it is great for the puppers. Sadly my devotion to the Empress has been undone!

Courteous staff made us comfortable. The room was beautiful and nothing beats the view from our oceanfront room. Easy access to walk along the oceanfront to downtown or take a harbour ferry to hop around. The gardens surrounding the hotel are spectacular.

Food is great, hotel and service excellent, location sweet. BC Ferries had package deals a few years ago. Victoria is a great little city. Check it out!

Without a doubt, the best hotel visit I've ever had. Even with the construction happening, there was absolutely no burden on guests. I can't say exactly why it was the best, it was simply a stay without issue and the views are the best in the world. My patio was completely private as well. Excellent! I will be back.

I spent 4 nights and attended a conference … The staff were fantastic… each time you entered the hotel they welcomed you back, the staff who were assigned to the conference were phenomenal and made sure you were taken care of, the staff who tidied my room were great… each staff member you passed were respectful and helpful… my thanks to you all, I will definitely come back.

It’s currently still under renovation (December 1st, 2019) but I can see that it’s a very nice hotel, in a good location, near downtown Victoria. Friendly staff & good service ♥️

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful rooms, very clean and great service. We brought our dog and she was treat so special. Got her own pillow, food bowl, and dog treats waiting at the room.

Great experience! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bed and pillows are great, there are two armchairs and a desk, so you can comfortably read or work. The views are very nice (even though we did not get a view to the city side). Good towels, shampoo and soap are fine, shower is nice. Everything is clean and in good condition. The restaurant is great, although I felt it was a bit overpriced, the continental breakfast is fantastic and portion size is great (not too big), the porridge was terrific too. The location is perfect, the neighbourhood is marvelous for walking, and you can get to downtown in no time walking by the sea. Everyone in the staff is nice and helpful.

We felt so well taken care of and special. All of the guests had only good things to say about the food (which was incredible) and the waiting staff/ bartender. The front desk and the valets/ bell people were so amazing and helpful! They hurried to help us every time we needed something no matter the request. And what a treat to be upgraded to the penthouse suite! Only good things to say about everything. There were so many little touches that just made the weekend even more special. Everyone attending our wedding had flown in from out of town and I didn't have to worry about it because I knew the amazing front of house staff would do everything they could to help. Ashley F was our on-site event manager, she was such a pleasure to work with. She was by my side every step of the way to answer all of my questions and help us through all of the steps of planning a wedding. We ate at the restaurant/ ordered room service multiple times throughout the stay and everything was always delicious! The location is incredible, we can't wait to come back and visit again!

I had an amazing stay at Laurel Point. It was my first time visiting Victoria and I must say that if I visit again I will definitely be staying here again. The staff were very helpful in making my stay the greatest possible. The location is amazing as it is close to the city centre and to great places to visit like the museum and the warf. The room was very clean and comfortable to stay in.

We visited Victoria and stayed 3 nights at the Inn at Laurel Point. We enjoyed our stay very much! The room was nice with a partial view. We enjoyed eating at their restaurant looking out over the water. Nice central location for us to see all we wanted to see. Must see in the surrounding area is the Museum and IMAX, fisherman's wharf, and China Town. Loved the little water taxis and the carriage rides as well. Great trip!

Views of the Inn at Laurel Point taken from the Coho Ferry as we came into the inner harbor. Complete with a harbor taxi scooting past in our wake. We had a room on the side overlooking the houseboats and it was a view we admired numerous times during our visit. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly with a professionalism that we enjoyed during our entire stay. The lady that checked us in was obviously a person happy with what she was doing and her local knowledge was a definite boon. Her ability to help a travel weary family of three find a good place to eat that was not too far away (for six year old legs) to walk to. Our boy thoroughly enjoyed the scavenger hunt she sent him (and us, he's six) on that helped mom and dad familiarize themselves with the hotel layout and learn a little local culture. He presented his completed scavenger checklist and drew a reward from their Treasure Chest. He was enamored with our hostess and he remembered his "please" and "thank you" when speaking to her and that just shows the impressionable effect she had of him. One the second night our little man crashed early and I popped downstairs to the Inn's bar to get some drinks for mom and dad. The barman was very knowledgeable about local breweries and helped me choose two local IPAs that were right on point after a day of walking around sightseeing.

We had a really lovely stay. Great room, and even though we were on the ground level, a nice view. Really helpful staff, good breakfast served in restaurant. Very close to the city center. We were there for only one night, but would have been nice to stay longer. Really close to the ferry to Port Angeles.

Location is great. Had a Harbour view room which was amazing, had some trees blocking some of it. Room service was quick and efficient. … They don’t have any water fountains in the Hotel which I didn’t like. Can’t fill a water bottle anywhere.
No vending machines in the Laurel wing either. Small inconveniences yeah I know. Would be nice to put in some vending machines in the Laurel wing, and have some Water fountains.

Room 446 was lovely! Gorgeous view of James Bay and all the water traffic, including float planes taking off and landing. Staff here are super friendly, and very accommodating. Rooms are lovely. Downtown Victoria is completely walkable from here. Can't wait to return to the Laurel Point Inn!

This place is nicely situated on the waterfront but away from the traffic of downtown. You are only a few blocks away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The gardens set this place apart from all the other hotels in Victoria. The restaurant here has a full menu of unique and tasty dishes that will not disappoint you. The rooms are spacious, the king bed was comfortable, and free Wi-Fi. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed ourselves. Nice hotel with clean rooms in a great location with helpful, friendly staff. Our room had a great view overlooking the water. The deck was small but a good spot to watch the seaplanes take off and the Clipper sail past on its way to Seattle. The new Johnson Street bridge looks awesome at night lit up by blue lights. The restaurant Aura looks really nice and seemed popular although we didn't eat there. There is a nice walkway connecting the hotel to the waterfront and the downtown which we love. I would rate 5 stars except the beds were a bit hard for me and they charge $17 for parking which I think should be included when I'm paying $250+ a night. They do offer a valet service which I didn't use.

The Inn at Laurel Point is a beautiful place to stay in Victoria. It is next to the ferry port. It is an easy walk to the downtown. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is very nice. We have stayed here many times and will stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. Courteous service, accommodating, friendly and warm hospitality. Our studio suite at the Erickson Wing was simply the best with modern luxury to the comfort of home and a connection with nature. Over looking water and Japanese garden the view was stunning at any time of the day. My fav moments to cherish were sunset, sunrise and gorgeous moon reflecting over water at 2am. The dinning at the AURA restaurant was an other experience to remember and smile about. We will def stay again.

We have enjoyed Laurel Point a number of times and each time has been a lovely experience. Our most recent visit included a gorgeous room with wine and chocolate waiting our arrival overlooking the Victoria Inner Harbour which, after a truly satisfying breakfast, we were able to walk to and explore. Service here was beyond reproach as always.

My dad and I stayed here for 2 days and really enjoyed it! The staff was really kind. The pool was fun and there was toys to play with, so that was cool! We had a beautiful view and all for an affordable price!

Beautiful views that were guided by my better half mentioning this was date night. Beautiful food, incredible presentation. Everyone had an obvious passion for food and that added to the experience. Strong selection of wines and delicious cocktails, though a smaller selection of those.

Best place for the money in Victoria! Every room has an awesome view. Comfy, spacious and feels luxurious. Only downside is their pretentious restaurant and room service.

We had an excellent overnight stay as part of a Victoria Clipper package. The entire staff was extremely helpful. The location is fantastic for exploring Victoria, and the view was perfect. We'll be back for sure!

This is a beautiful Inn. We will return someday. Every aspect aboit it was lovely. The employees are very gracious and the setting is extremely peaceful. The room was comfortable and view was perfect.

Park and walking trail along water just outside lobby door. Very convenient parking garage. Much prefer this to The Empress or Grand Pacific.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the management and staff of Inn at Laurel Point for our wonderful stay. The Inn offers the utmost in comfort and luxurious elegance. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly, courteous and professional staff from all levels. Upon opening the door and stepping into our suite it was apparent that it was prepared to extraordinary standards with attention paid to every detail. It was very easy to just relax and forget the distractions of daily life and enjoy the moment. The view from our balcony of the inner harbour and city was spectacular! We stayed in the older section, and the age shows a bit. Nice room with great view and it's in pretty easy walking distance of downtown. Fun to be woken up by seaplanes taking off in the morning.

I am so glad that I gave them another try because they have turned my opinion around and I would highly recommend this hotel. The location and views are great and the rooms are very comfortable. The best part of my experience was the service from staff — they were warm, friendly and responded quickly to my needs. Thanks Laurel Point for such a great stay!

Nice hotel, dog friendly, the restaurant is very good but unfortunately our dinner was spoiled by being seated next to a table of really loud and obnoxious people.
There is a charging point for EV's. Coming back to the restaurant, I am amazed that the staff didn't ask the loud people to stop yelling. So instead of coming back tonight for dinner we will eat somewhere else.
Too bad because the food is superb.

We are looking at the Inn at Laurel Point as a potential wedding venue and it is stunning. We wandered in Sunday on a long weekend and one of the event managers found the time to set us up with a wedding package, all the information we needed, and answered dozens of questions during the quick tour around. Their pricing is transparent and they are willing to work with you on nearly anything!

This hotel is in a great location. The rooms are huge and well kept. Expensive though. Overall recommended if price is no object.

Always love staying at this hotel when in Victoria! The staff working the hotel are wonderful and helpful. The restaurant wasn't up to its normal great standard on my most recent visit and the service was lacking as well. Probably an off night for Aura but the hotel was fantastic!

Very nice hotel, service and staff inpecable and very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, overlooking the bay and its seaplanes. Attention, in the rooms for three (two twin beds), no catch next to the beds: not very practical but not very serious.

Stayed at the Studio Room in the Erickson Wing. Very spacious and spectacular views of the harbor. Staff was friendly and courteous and offered suggestions and tips for places to visit. The hotel restaurant Aura served amazing food and the service was impeccable. Would definitely return again.

Stayed for a week to celebrate our first anniversary — we could not have chosen a more relaxing, perfect place! The room was clean, comfortable, and had a fantastic view; the staff were welcoming and helpful. The food creations at Aura are unique and flavourful — a must try! Loved that it was a short walk from all the activities and dining in the downtown area.

Would definitely visit again. The rooms were beautiful, with a great view of the water from the balcony. The staff were friendly and offered insights into the local attractions and places to eat. Parking lot was secured and location was right on the water front. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Was a great deal too through one of BC Ferries vacation packages.

Having been to Aura several times in the past for lunch and dinner, it was an easy choice for my wife's birthday supper. I called a week before the dinner for reservations and was connected with a manager immediately. She was kind, gave me her direct line and had group menus to my email address in short order with the ability to substitute for allergies or preferences. We were told we would get a prime table with a good view and when we arrived on the schedule date we were not disappointed, seated in our own area with a view of the harbor. Service was excellent and timely, the staff were polite and personable, and the food was second to none. I will be definitely be back for more!

We really enjoyed the view. The room was lovely. Staff were excellent. We visited in the winter and the hotel was beautifully decorated with multiple Christmas trees. One downside was that the pool, which is located in a kind of solarium, was absolutely freezing.

We stayed in the older wing of the hotel, but even that is fine for the price we paid. Very affordable, far less than other comparable nearby properties, and most importantly everything was clean and comfortable. They offer discounts on local attractions (20% off Royal BC Museum for example). Ask at the front desk.

A wonderful setting and enjoyed watching the activities on the harbour, especially the little water taxis. My only criticism was the weather and you cannot do anything about that. The Japanese display on the third floor was wonderful. Would certainly come back to the Laurel Point.

I attended a conference being held at the Laurel point Inn, and I would suggest it to anyone running a similer event in the area. The accommodations were wonderfull, staff were cheerful and friendly, and the prices were more than fair for the level of service. The view and surrounding area were stunning, and it had easy access to a central victoria.

Beautiful hotel! Had an amazing stay here with my fiance. They had some lovely antiques/artifacts on display all throughout the establishment. Me and my Fiance explored every floor of the hotel to see all the neat things on display. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Victoria!

Very nice location went there for my grad reception the service was good one thing however the food had gotten slightly cold before being served I think it was cooked ahead of time then reheated.

This was our first trip to Victoria, and it was for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The Inn at Laurel Point and all of the staff, made this an Anniversary to remember! We have stayed in many chain hotels, but this Hotel put them all to shame, everything was amazing. From our beautiful room with an phenomenal view to the food and the friendly staff. We will be coming back to Victoria, and his will be the only Hotel we will stay at. The Meisinger's.

The hotel is world class, rooms were amazing, but what most impressed me is the courtesy of the staff. Every member from the front desk to the janitorial staff always greeted us with a smile and a sincere warm hello. Mary the front desk person who checked us in was beyond amazing. Overall, it was a great stay and highly recommend 5**** service.

Hotel very nice, excellent service. Cafe closes too early, is closed at nine o'clock in the evening, but will open free great freshly brewed coffee. According to Erickson Wing standards, the rooms and bathrooms are large, you can still see the beautiful Harbour Centre. Aura restaurant menu doesn't seem to have changed, which is a pity.

View is great, restaurant was amazing, but bed was kind of springy, and nowhere to hang hand or bath towels in the bathroom near the sink or shower. Otherwise excellent!

Went for a staff Christmas party and enjoyed myself. We didn't get to see the rooms, but the lobby and amenities were very nice.

Beautiful hotel with great views, very close to downtown and fisherman's wharf. They have a great restaurant and were hosting a gingerbread house competition display. Great experience.

Loved it! I would totally recommend this place. I found a nice price online, called the hotel and they matched the same price with no problems. The rooms and views were beautiful but the staff was the best part! They were always so kind and helpful. They recommended where to eat and what to do. Their recommendations were fabulous. We also did not have a car, while waiting for our ferry and exploring the hotel held on to our baggage for us after checkout. I was very impressed with the kindness and care the staff provided for us. Wonderful stay and I plan on returning.

My husband, 2 year old and I (along with our large extended family) stayed at this gorgeous hotel for 3 nights for my cousins wedding (which was also at the hotel and was beautiful) during the August long weekend. We've been doing a lot of luxury hotel hopping this summer and I can without a doubt say that this hotel blew us away. The rooms were gorgeous (we stayed in the new part of the hotel so I can't speak for the older part), the patios had great views of the harbour and the service was OUTSTANDING. I ordered room service for breakfast every morning and it was at the door in 15 minutes. Anything we requested was at our door in minutes. My aunt even needed a needle nose plier to fix her necklace before the ceremony and the maintenance man brought one to the door. The front desk staff, cleaning, bellhop (we had Andrew, who was wonderful) were truly exceptional. All of my family members who also stayed there also had fantastic experiences. Thank you to all of the staff! We will definitely be back!

We were there all weekend for a friends wedding. The restaurant service was horrible, the girl was snotty, rude and clear end our plates when they were still have full. After they were already stacked she asked if we were done. Didn't really have a choice st that point. Talked to the manager on duty, they offered nothing to make up for the half meal or even a discount. During the reception the bartender took our $100 bill for two drinks and gave us $3 back. We asked for the rest, he then gave us $60. We were still $20 short. Short greasy blonde guy named Mike. We spoke with his boss who told us he's colourblind and had a learning disability. Fair enough but he shouldn't be making change then. Again nothing offered to make up for it, just a shrug. Total crap place. Stay away.

As a wedding photographer, I have the unique opportunity of seeing lots of events at venues in town. I get to peek in at the bridal and penthouse suites, enjoy the dinners and observe the customer service. Without hesitation, the Laurel Point is on the top of my list for places I recommend for weddings or even just to stay. The staff is outstanding and truly care about each guest. The views from the rooms are incredible — all glass! The architecture is amazing. I've eaten at the restaurant several times in addition to having the wedding meals and the food is to die for! I can't recommend the Inn at Laurel Point more highly.

The hotel has some really great views. The restaurant is fantastic, the chef brings in his Asian/Japanese influences and offers some phenomenal dishes. It's a bit of a walk to the downtown core. I very much enjoyed my stay here.

Not happy with this hotel. The rooms and hotel they show in their web site is sooo misleading, I checked all the pictures and reviews and didn't mind paying more for a so called 4 star hotel. But when we arrived I was not greeted by the valet but did have good help at the reception that day, We weren't sure if our truck was too big to fit in the under ground parking so the lady said we could park it in the street and it would be fine there. It was parked there for 1 day and when we came out to go touring it was gone. My husband went to the front desk and asked where it was the lady said to him "where did you park it " Come to find out the valet had moved it to the under ground parkade. He said "Oh it had 3 inches clearance. " They didn't even notify us to tell us. The rooms are very very dated and need remodeling or they better lower the price for what we got. My son slept on the so called hide a bed and fell through it 3 times. What kind of a hotel is this. I say very misleading. Maybe they should not just show the new side but the old ones as well. Thumbs down.

Front desk can get busy in bursts but they are helpful and friendly. Our room was dated and a bit worn, but the bed was comfortable and everything worked fine. The views are spectacular! The pool is chilly and small and can get crowded in the evening, but it's clean and the changing rooms are clean and well stocked. All of that together would put it at a 4 star, but then someone stole some of my toiletries (why? ) while we were away sightseeing one day. Really.

I wish I could give this hotel more stars! From the moment we pulled up to the front doors we were impressed. The staff are incredibly friendly. The doorman greeted us at the car and helped us to carry our bags inside without being asked. The front desk staff were always smiling and professional. We chose the Inn at Laurel Point because it is one of the few pet friendly hotels in the downtown area. Our 6 month old black lab was probably the most impressed out of all of us. He was greeted with a clean dog bed, food bowls, clean up bags, a map of all the best dog spots in Victoria, and HOMEMADE DOG TREATS! And the staff were so accommodating to him. The same doorman was working both days we were there and he made a point to remember our dogs name and bring him treats whenever we came back from a walk. As I'm sure most travelling dog owners know its never easy to find quality, dog friendly, hotels. This one takes the cake! I cannot express enough how welcomed we felt at the Inn and we can't wait to go back! Well done.
