Best views, staff and restaurant ever. Loved everything about this hotel and the staff are amazing!

My wife and I have stayed here many times and think it’s the best waterfront hotel for the price. The staff is always courteous, proficient and happy to help. We love watching the float plans fly in and out of the harbour from our room, an awesome view.

The service is always awesome here. The bed was. Very comfortable as were the pillows. The view was also fantat.

Been going there for years! Always good until this time. Very slow check in and we did not get good customer service this time. PreBooked with Front desk over the phone. When we arrived I questioned front desk because we didn’t get breakfast voucher. Was told told we got Sr discount which is the best rate and was promptly dismissed. It was supposed to be gov’t rate which cost the same $ but includes breakfast. I was not given the opportunity to say that before dismissal. I was not happy. When we complained to customer service they did nothing!

They dont ask about allergies when you book your room and they moved us to a king suite on the 10th floor which is a pet free floor

Very nice hotel with a great restaurant. Swimming pool, sauna and hot tub are all great. Gym is a bit small but very functional and more than what most hotels have to offer. Staff are friendly and very proffessional.

Great location, walking distance to the Inner Harbour, and Downtown. Underground parking, for a price. Marina and Harbor Ferry stop. Indoor/outdoor pool. Great restaurant for seafood lovers.

We always enjoy our stay when we come to the Coast Victoria Hotel and Marina. We stay on our boat at the marina and the hotel allows us to use their pool, hot tub and shower room. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful!

Nice, clean rooms. Staff were excellent. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Location is good as it is a short walk to the downtown attractions.

Centrally located and quick walks to both downtown area and Fisherman's Wharf. The Blue Crab is the resturesta attached to the hotel and is very good. Indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub and fitness room are well kept. All associates at the front desk are super helpful with recommendations. Room had a sliver of a view of the harbor which was nice but we didn't spend much time in the room. Beds were very comfortable, shower has good water pressure and the size of the room was great. Water taxi stand also right in front of the hotel for easy access to anywhere in the harbor.

Beautiful hotel by the marina. The view is just amazing! It's close to everything under a walking distance and there's a beautiful pathway along the water line. The Blue Crab restaurant is exceptional: great food and fantastic service!

The location is in downtown Victoria, near the breakwater and right on the ocean. The staff are polite and attentive. The restrooms are kept clean and stocked. Conference rooms have great views and are well maintained.

Great hotel. Friendly staff, clean and amazing beds, comfy pillows. Was placed in a room near the roof. And smelled a little like exhaust. So not great when you want fresh air. The pool /sauna and hot tub were a nice bonus.

Was nice. Awesome people. Just a little out of the way. Window smaller than I expected. Couldn't really enjoy the view and we paid for ocean view. Bartenders pushy.

Great and helpful front desk. Have EV parking but maybe have a sign to limit the charging time to 5 hours, so other hotel vistors can have a chance to charge their car. Overnight charging maybe from 12 am to 7 am. Hotel nice and clean but washroom might need a little bit update or better cleaning, especially around faucet area and tub surrounding, black stuff is started to build up. Warm toilet seat, high tech toilet.

First time visiting this hotel in Victoria. Although it's a little bit of a walk past the Inner Harbour (15 mins or so) it's well worth it. Staff are so friendly and rooms are clean and well stocked. The pool and hot tub are just the right temperatures. Recommend this hotel!

The hotel was very clean and a marvel. It was close to downtown Victoria.

When I come to Victoria I always choose the Coast. The bed is perfectly comfortable and the pillows are exactly as I prefer. Pillows are always my first complaint when staying anywhere. The staff is always courteous and professional. I always feel welcome. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

World class hotel in an excellent location. Fantastic amenities and wonderful staff. My only disappointment was that the fancy toilet didn't thank me after it finished blow-drying my butthole.

Quite far from the airport 40mn no airport shuttles-hotel shuttle to city center on request well placed 15mn of the center walk home very well clean and quiet Restaurant seafood and fish at the hotel very well.

Stayed here three nights and had a very positive experience. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had an excellent view of the harbour. The staff were very friendly, the pool area was lovely, and the hotel is just a quick walk away from downtown Victoria and all the sites, shopping, and food that area has to offer. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone travelling to the Victoria area.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Offered a room switch at no extra as they realized the room booked would not work. Thanks again for this we will stay again. One suggestion would be a free breakfast included. Thanks again.

Recent trip 2 weeks ago. Wallpaper in room was held in place with scotch tape. Occupants in room next door sat on balcony smoking pot. Booked this because of a email ad they sent, only to discover that the price dropped the very next day afternoon the promo. Contacted executive and received no reply to the misleading advertising. Definitely a 1 star hotel, at best. Will NEVER ever stay here again, and will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. Worst experience and even worse customer service.

Nice hotel at a good price. Surprised to see a bidet when I checked out the room! Good views of the water and pool and hot tub decent size. King bed was nice and comfy and good size rooms.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We cannot commend them enough. They have a free shuttle to help guests get around. We didn't need it, but they graciously offered to keep our carseat in the back just in case. The location is great for seeing the city, with sights, restaurants, and parks within easy walking distance in a quiet area. The room amenities were also nice; full size bottles rather than one-time-use, robes, large towels, slippers, and an umbrella. The restaurant (the Blue Crab) was also terrific, with delicious food and wonderful service. Probably our best meal of the trip. The only downside to the entire experience was the thin walls in our room. We were able to hear noises from our neighbors and the hallway early in the evening, but nothing egregious. I would recommend this hotel for your next visit to Victoria.

It's far from the worst hotel I've stayed in, but it certainly wasn't one that I would want to stay in again. The room was clean, the staff seemed pretty nice, and it's a healthy walk away from the main downtown area. Basic things you'd expect in a hotel. However, the walls are VERY thin. I was woken up at 12:30 to ladies talking — not excessively loud or anything — in my neighbors room. It was even thin enough to hear them snore (I heard that as well in the morning). I could also easily hear the thud of showers turning on in the morning. The view from my room really wasn't great, I'm sure there are other views available but I feel like I booked far enough in advance to get maybe something a little better than this. Two other annoying things, there's no plug-in on the bedside tables to charge a phone, you have to move the table forward and hunt for the outlet. This is the age of cell phones, everybody uses them for alarms next to their bed, you're missing the mark here. Secondly, the light fixture in the bathroom is on the mirrors. The right hand light was directly at face level above the sink, which is a bit annoying when you're trying to shave. It's fine though if you are only 4 feet tall. Also, be aware that you have to pay for parking here if you're a guest. $18. Overall, not terrible, but not great. Seems like some things were overlooked that just made this an "alright" hotel instead of a great one to me.

Great hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful — they handled some last minute calls with a tour company to make sure our tour went smoothly. The rooms were nice (if slightly dated) and the bed was very comfortable.

I come with my family every year to Victoria. This year, we wanted to try something new… and we picked the Coast. This is by far the worst hotel ever, mainly because of my experience with their staff. I booked the penthouse and changed my booking dates and confirmed the room and dates with staff. When I arrived, they gave me a king room. The original booking was for the top floor suite! I don't know how they could do that to a customer, ever! The staff didn't even care they just claimed this was today's rate and paid no acknowledgement to my previous suite booking. I'm actually very shocked as I am in the hospitality business and know that you must make things right for the customer regardless of miscommunication. As a result: DON'T BOOK HERE! Just within the block are much better options with staff that are atentive and looking out for customers' best interests. Management I hope you pay attention to this!

The service was amazing! The rooms were clean and I slept great every night. The pool is the perfect depth for handstands and the hot tub is nice and big. There is a shuttle service that is super! Kevin and John will give you a ride around town and always are great to chat with… and the toilets clean your butt.

The hotel is awesome my daughter says, great location, great staff, love the pool, the hot tub is nice but the jets are not powerful enough, they are working on it. The staff were nice. Views are beautiful and it's reasonably priced in compassion to the other hotels.

I really enjoyed my stay here! My room was super clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The best thing about this hotel is that it is right next to the David Foster Harbour Path which leads to the fisherman's wharf. It was a nice scenic route to and from downtown. I would stay here again next time!

Everything was great… Rooms, views, hot tub and pool, staff super friendly. I was there 3 days and they all treated me like I was a regular customer. Breakfast crab cakes eggs benny… amazing. This will be my new favorite hotel in Victoria.

Stayed in a nice water view room with a balcony. Bed and pillows are comfortable. You are able to open the windows and balcony door to let in a nice ocean breeze. The staff are friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice experience.

The food at the restaurant is really good, the staff are friendly & helpful, the hotel is within walking distance to the city center which is very convenient, the room is nice & tidy with shampoo, conditioner, soaps and such! We have an awesome stay here, we will definitely still choose to stay here next time when we come back here in Victoria in the future.

Loved the beautiful room and all the extras (pool, hot tub)! The resturant food was impresive. The hotel spot was perfect, great to walk along the shore, close to water taxi pick up, Fishetman's Wharf, many great dining spots within a short walk. And best of all the entire staff was courteous, helpful, and always professional. Highly recommend this spot, and hope to be back!

Love this location, the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming, … BUT, the hotel is undergoing re-decorating which is ok however one item that seriously needs to be upgraded (replaced with new) are the toilets in the guest rooms. The re-decorating is trying to improve these by adding new hi-tech Japanese style heated toilet seats, but this makes the problem actually worse. The problem is the original toilets are too small, making them un-hygienic and very uncomfortable to use, especially for men. So please, Coast Hotels, take a second look at this, its bad.

Place seems overly priced for what you get. Rooms were not great, friends who came with us had issues that took three different calls to fix. The concierge was fantastic though and extremely helpful. Made our stay worth while.

Absolutely beautiful pool. Probably one of the nicest in Victoria. Hotel is pretty good too. Interior is a bit dated but it's clean.

Great service and location. The free shuttle will take you anywhere in town and it's not on a set schedule, you just show up in the lobby and tell them where you want to go. Our driver, Emilio, was very helpful in suggesting activities that our kids would like. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, couldn't ask for more.

We love staying at the Coast in Victoria as the staff are always so friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are cozy, clean and renovated. We find it is excellent value and the location is great if you like to walk along the water in just 10 minutes you are right at the Empress! If you walk the opposite way you are about 20 minutes to the ocean. It is fantastic. I would highly recommend it. I have family in Victoria so we go over at least every 6-8 weeks and we have stayed at many hotels and this one is my favorite.

Was at this hotel on Saturday night with my hubby and we just loved it. The staff are amazing, the rooms are perfect and the service is one of the greatest we have ever got. We were out in town for a fun night of dancing and when we came back at 4:30am, there were two bottles of water and a few chocolates left for us on our night table. That was such a great treat. We totally apprecaited it! They have free shuttle that will take you to anywhere you want. You have to stay here to experience the great service! We cannort wait to go back again. :).
