Badly outdated, concrete block walls, no ac, still using a thermostat with liquid mercury. Shower swings from scalding to freezing every 10 seconds. Piping from next door's shower whistled loud enough to be an issue. Paper thin door that still uses physical key. Coffee maker with no coffee cups provided which made no sense to me. Pretty sure the shampoo dispenser was hand soap. Think I was charged parking looking back at my credit card statement, didn't see that coming. I mean, it was clean, I will give them that but sleeping in the car would have been better for that money.

Very nice location for this hotel close the the marina and across the street from the very fancy Norwood restaurant. Also walking distance to coop and cafes. There is room to park your boat trailers behind the hotel. The rooms are clean, a bit outdated decor. Could use update but decent. Beds were comfortable. I'd stay here again.

Pretty simple and low budget, but clean and comfortable, with 15 different restaurants and a grocery store within 1 to 5 mins walk … Perfect for a place to sleep while exploring the area … Just wish there had been a mini fridge …

It was the best show ever! You people who did not go missed out on the best entertainment! I am happy we made it over for the night! I would go again! Excellent singing and dancing!

Reasonable rates. Rooms were nice and clean, included full kitchen. Lots of parking place. My room was at lower level and it got noisy when upper floor people walked. Door should include extra safety lock. Blinders on the window doesn't block sunlight properly and room gets little bright early morning while sleeping. Overall good experience.

We paid 75 dollars a night in October great price, no one is staying at the motel so it’s great location and not so pricey as we enjoyed going whale watching and other water activities. After 3 days being here and we have been staying here for the past 5 years it’s just basic place for a family with a good sleep, TV and fridge to use. Needs updating but the owners look to be getting older and might retire soon. The door in the bathroom gets stuck on toilet. So 3/5 but for location it’s prime as restaurants, food trucks and close to liquor store. No pool or breakfast but beach 5 mins away and would recommend u buy food to stick in the fridge of ur room to cut costs down.

The room looked clean and spacious. Wifi worked great at the beginning then I experienced a bit difficulty later in the evening. Great location, a few good restaurants right across the street. No breakfast provided. No AC in room but I didn't need it (early sept). I wonder if there are nights in the middle of summer that would require it?! Pricey but in line with others in the area.

The Pacific Rim Motel isn't fancy, but it is comfortable, clean, and close to everything. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's walking distance to quite a few good restaurants, and just a short drive to the Amphitrite Lighthouse. I felt right at home and will stay here again if I am fortunate enough to return to Ucluelet.

Loved it here. Spartan but when everywhere is so beautiful you don't need *stuff*. Good sized rooms. Comp coffee. Super convenient for ucluelet and this side of the island.

For a 160 a night this place is atrocious. I get that motels are not 5 star resorts but there was not one charming thing about this place. Screens were removed from the windows which we needed open because of the heat. And to top it all off we found a knot of hair folded into one of the towels. When brought to front desks attention they simply made excuses such as "oh the workers get tired so things get missed. " And "dont worry it came from the wash so it should be clean hair. " Unacceptable. I highly recommend avoiding this place unless its an emergency. Even then the back seat of your car may be the better option.

A fantastic old motel, perfect for the night. No frills. Totally clean and friendly staff.

Very outdated rooms with old carpet that had a very bad smell. Didn't have anything in them; no microwave, no fridge, and not even a phone. Horrible customer service. When we told them about the smell in our room, they said we can't do anything about it, if it bothers you too much you can sleep in your van. The rooms were way too expensive considering everything. Terrible experience overall.

Well managed and reasonably priced. Room was clean and tidy though not the most modern place technology wise. Overall pretty decent.

I didn't find any bed bugs as suggested in regards to other motels; very clean; basic service; no fridge; older Tv set; internet is very slow but works for minimal needs; no spectacular views compared to the neighbors; it was the only available and the cheapest in the whole area. The front desk clerk was very customer service oriented, she waited for us even we were late, possible that all the locals are that helpful to the visitors, it is a place to chill and enjoy the life.

Great family owned motel with clean rooms and great service.

Location was easily accessible and in the center of town. Not really any amenities, even the showers don't have hot water. The rooms face East which allow a lot of natural daylight in the morning. Acoustics are bad, and rooms are very basic. We only stayed here because nothing else was available. Not worth the price!

Room was spacious and clean. Perfectly fine for sleeping while enjoying the outdoors in the area.

Clean and convenient but a bit pricey for what you get. Wi-Fi is really slow. Curtain could not be fully closed, the sun shines in the room early.
