The food and service were really good and the prices were very reasonable especially considering their location.

Food was good. Service took quite some time. Seems they were very overwhelmed with the amount of people in the restaurant.

Inexpensive room with free breakfast, all in a pretty good deal.

Ate at the Roadhouse Pub. Never again. Meal served cold Veal cutlets were processed meat — — tasted like Spam.

I stayed for a month at a cheaper rate then the other hotel in town. Need a little updating, but beds were comfortable, flat screen TV with many channels, AC unit, Kitchenette in my room fully equiped to cook. A mountain view that you don't see anywhere else. The front end lady was very helpful and friendly when checking in (made us feel very welcome) as well as the cleaning staff, my room was made up everyday. As well as the owner (possible). Had a hard time understanding but he slowed down enough to understand. There is a hospitality room with continental breakfast that opens at 5am. (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, muffins, 6 different cereals, toast, bagels and English muffins that were always well stocked) A literal 5 second walk up the hill to the Roadhouse Pub which also had great food and staff and entertainment on Fridays… I will defenatly be back for my next work tour.

Older, dated motel but has great potential. Great for work crews. Limited number of kitchenette suites. Plenty of HOT water. Great mountain views from main building. Hospitality room has cold cereal, muffins, toast with variety of spreads. Juice, coffee, tea & hot chocolate selection. Friendly manager & staff. Laundry room with pay washer & dryer. Wi-Fi is weak but stronger near the office and hospitality room. Short walk 3 minutes up the hill, to a neighboring pub (Ridge Roadhouse) with good food, drink & even greater views of the mountains.

Nice motel to stay at in Gold River and the staff are great.

Wi-Fi is absolutely horrible. Morning coffee tastes Luke it's stained through a used garbage bag. Slept ok though.

I do not recommend this hotel… As 0/5 is not an option, I had to assign at least 1 star but not by choice. We stayed here for 5 nights over the Christmas holidays. Based on a family situation, we would happily have left but there is not a lot of choice in Gold River. The first room we were given had a pile of empty beer cans and litter outside the door and the room wasn't clean. We asked for another room and received what I believe was the best they had to offer. Take a look at the photos and here is the list: -redwine stains all up the walls (at least, we hope they were wine stains) -dirty kettle -dirty bedsread -broken bedside lamps -light bulbs missing -heater made one hell of a noise and the heater filter looked like it had never been changed nor cleaned -curtains falling down -housekeeping service not available over the holidays. While we were fine with this, we were never advised and still charged full price -more empty beer cans rolling around the front of the hotel -slowest Wifi in the world… as good as being back on dial up I believe a business should always have the first option to fix or correct the situation before going to social media. Upon check out, I shared all of the photos and explained our concerns. The owner shrugged and charged us full price ($115.00/night) regardless of our our efforts. My recommendation… don't do it.

The internet was extremely slow and in a lot of cases we had to go to the pub for better internet. The room was not regularly cleaned. On check in day, I pointed out several things that were dirty in the room.

Nice kitchenette room double bed nice location rooms where clean and comfortable bed. We would suggest a little more dusting but a nice place to stay and staff very helpful.

We stayed in executive honeymoon suite on Valentines weekend. Fair value for price. Friendly and helpful staff provided good tourist info, even going so far as to leave a hand-drawn map in room for us to find upon check-in showing locations of most popular sites, restaurants, etc (thanks, Julie). Front desk staff even offered to call in maintenance personnel to light fireplace for us in lounge for that "romantic" touch. Lounge/eating area very clean and comfortable, and well-stocked. Awesome views when skies cleared. Will definitely stay here again whenever I am in Gold River area.

We stayed at the Ridgeview Motor Inn for 2 nights and when we left forgot a pillow behind. They refused to mail it to us even though we offered to pay for postage. The kept saying that we had to come back to pick it up. How ridiculous. I will never stay here again.
