Mini‑Hotels in Vancouver IslandInn

Brand new cabins. It felt like we were the first people to stay there it was so clean. Fantastic little cabin. We chose this cabin because it was only a few minutes away from the ferry terminal.

This was my 2nd time staying here and we stayed in one of the cabins. Definitely comfy, cozy and clean. Great location to explore the area. Late check — in was easy.

This was the most affordable option and sometimes you expect to get what you pay for. This place was renovated, had all the amenities, plus free family activities next door.

Super comfy bed in the king room, great service, lots of on-site hangout areas — fire pits, picnic tables, grill etc. Easy enough walk into the "downtown" area and to the beaches.

This motel just got rebranded and renovated.
The check-in was really quick and wonderful staff.
My room (huge! ) was spotless, newly renovated and very nice.

Awesome little Motel that has done an amazing job renovating each room to make the stay more enjoyable.

Our family of 4 stayed here on 25-27 of July, 2026. Excellent service, clean and nice, comfortable room, with a big fridge, microwave, coffe machine, thermostat, and balcony.

Bernie is the nicest Canadian we've ever met. Fantastic service, he went above and beyond to pick us up from the airport when he was swamped at the front desk.

What a wonderful hidden gem this is! Right on the water in Qualicum with access to the beach. The rooms were very nicely laid out and very clean.

We stayed there for 4 nights it was beautiful, clean, very well maintained and all the amenities of home. Owners very kind and helpful fir anything we asked or needed.

Very clean, cozy and comfortable accommodations. The staff provided exceptional service; when I raised a minor concern, they responded promptly and offered a simple solution.

I had a wonderful experience at the motel, the rooms were quiet and clean, thanks to Danil at the front desk.

Location was good. Fixed booking issue quickly.
Did not receive our booking. Took a bit to get things fixed. The deluxe suite was not quite up to par.

The room was clean, spotless actually, fresh paint, new floors. Beds were comfortable also. We all had a great sleep.

Very clean and spacious. We had the 2 bedroom suite and it was very modern, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast too!
There's a dog park right across the street. B.

Rooms are quite dated, but it was clean and very spacious. Shower, Wi-Fi and heat all worked well, and bed was comfortable. Our room had a mini-fridge, microwave and a small sofa. Free parking.

This is an excellent hotel for the price point. One small change I would make to the bathroom is to add a shelf for toiletries. Rooms are very clean; recently renovated.

We stayed 1 night, the experience was nice, the only thing was the wrong Wi-Fi name and password in the book, but when we called, they helped us and we could connect.

Omar gave us such a great experience! He was extremely hospitable and helped us with all that we needed. A very kind and thoughtful person.

Wonderful stay, clean, comfy beds, accommodating staff and great location across from the amusement centre — free mini golf was a hit for the whole family!

We stayed here for 2 nights while stopping in Port Hardy. The room was extremely clean and newly renovated! The beds are comfy and it is quiet.

I read some of the reviews on here and I hope I can provide some updates. The rooms were a pleasant surprise compared to the exterior.

Our unit had a full fridge and freezer. Most things in the unit were updated. Location good to downtown. Bedding and towels were clean.

The bathroom was clean, it's a big room, almost everything in the kitchen is new, clean sheets and towels. Overall there is alot of potential and had a good experience.

Good value, be prepared to meet some characters and enjoy less rules with a homey laid back atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Easy parking.

It's a fine, unpretentious motel that is clean, comfortable and quiet. Paul was friendly and helpful, and made our 2 night stay enjoyable. Our second time there.

Quiet clean friendly would stay here again the shower was great bed was comfortable check in and out was fast great stay ty.

Our room could definitely benefit from some upgrades (mattress was old and worn, we could hear our neighbors very easily, bathroom could do with a deep clean, etc) but for a few nights close to

I had a wonderful stay at the Port-O-Call Motel in Nanaimo. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Port-O-Call Inn & Suites in Nanaimo, BC! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

Stephen and Meshell are the best of hosts. They've created the perfect blend of spoiling their guests, and giving privacy. Did I mention the breakfasts?

Spent four nights recently and it was fantastic!
Views are tremendous and hosts welcoming and friendly. We stayed in Eagles Aerie and it was a lovely comfortable room.

If shared bathrooms are something you are comfortable with, then this option would be absolutely perfect for you.

My husband and I stayed here the night before starting the WCT. Comfy beds, everything was clean, access to a bathroom/shower all at a reasonable price. Great place to rest before starting the hike.

Super clean and nice, great service, very comfortable amenities, great location. Nice 20-25min walk to the main strip/ grocery stores. Very thought out rooms felt like a home away from home.

We stayed 2 nights and the room was clean and looks newly renovated… the art work was a very nice touch. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the nights were peaceful.
