Hotels in Vancouver Island with Breakfast

We had a great stay. The rooms are bright, clean and spacious. The M lounge neat — we liked having access to drinks 24/7.

A decent hotel!
The M Club lounge is amazing: solid breakfast in the mornings, hors d’oeuvres in the evenings, followed by a dessert hour with cheese, charcuterie, and sweets.

We stay here every year for the Victoria Marathon, and the breakfast continues to be one of the best parts of our trip. The food is always fresh, delicious, and well prepared.

It is a pleasant hotel to stay at, rooms are very nice. However, they are refurbishing the hotel and it would have been fair for ALL the hotel platforms to mention this.

We had another lovely stay at the Magnolia. We were there for a birthday trip and the hotel was very helpful in arranging flowers and chocolates upon our arrival.

The front desk/valet staff are absolutely amazing! They were all so incredibly friendly and welcoming and would even take time out to say hi to my dog, greet her by name, give her pets and treats!

We recently had two short stays at Abigail's hotel, and would certainly stay here again if we return to Victoria.

We had a great 3 night stay and do recommend Abigail’s. Our stay was quiet, peaceful and enjoyable. Room 301B was very comfortable, roomy and well appointed.

My favourite Victoria stay. Located downtown walking distance to everything you need. The King Suite is perfect and excellent value.

Lovely entrance to hotel, rooftop bar/food thats expensive but do HH for the incredible view. Whiskey bar on main floor. Rooms are comfy.

We had a lovely experience although we had to ask for our room to be made up on our second day and for the evening turn down service.

This was my second stay at the Empress, and while the experience was largely enjoyable, I was somewhat disappointed by the changes made to the Q dining room.

This hotel was on the waterfront, central in Down Town Victoria. Our room was a sizable one bedroom flat with beautiful view of the Johnson Street Bridge and Inner Harbor.

Excellent hotel for our base in Victoria. Large spacious rooms with full kitchens. Spotlessly clean. Staff friendly. Quiet at night. Hotel experience is 10/10, but most of all the views!

Our stay at Black Rock Resort was lovely. The room set up was great for our family of three, we loved having access to a kitchen, and the views out our windows were spectacular.

My husband, 92-year-old mother and I stayed at the Blackrock for 4 nights as part of a trip to see wildlife in BC. We were in the 2-bedroom Orca suite so we could all be together. It was fantastic!

The Bayview Hotel was the perfect home base for our U9 hockey tournament in Courtenay. It was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and the group rate was excellent.

Was looking for a dog friendly hotel in the Comox / Courtenay area and we came across the Bayview Hotel.
We called the hotel directly to inquire about vacancies.

We stayed 3 nights at the Inn at Laurel Point in a wheelchair accessible room in the Erickson wing. It was a top notch experience.

Exceptionally helpful staff. Lovely large room. Comfy bed. Small Balcony but enough to sit and watch the sea planes taking off over the harbour.

The location is excellent. Parking was sufficient.
My 6 year old nephew Loved the pool/waterslide (warning for adults it’s fast! )
The staff is really great.

A really cute hotel, and so perfect for families. It's very clean, surprisingly up to date, has a very fun retro vibe, and the pool/waterslide/hot tub area is really nice and quaint.

Norman was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel at home.

Stayed in the mini cottages with my wife, 2 kids under 8 years old and it was amazing. Room was clean, spacious and the resort is so close to cox bay beach.

Where do I even start with this place?! Possibly our favourite hotel ever.

Everything about our stay was perfect, the space was honestly just awesome.

Quiet, despite nearness to highway. Our large double queen room was clean, neat & tidy with all items stocked properly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor is very British throughout.

Amazing hotel. Modern conveniences meet historical charm in this lovely old hotel. Staff is SOOOOO friendly.

The location is perfect. Close to so many things but not right in all the chaos. About 2 blocks from the ferry terminal. The wharf was about a 10 min walk. The location was so peaceful and quite.

Great hotel in a perfect quiet location, that's away from any noise but only a 4 minute walk from the center of Victoria. The room was modern, spotless, very spacious and had a great view.

Check in was smooth the receptionist was professional but not that friendly.

Positive: The location was great, very clean, and the staff was so kind Negative: The room was absolutely gorgeous.

Gets the job done. Stayed here overnight before our flight. Definitely outdated but clean, and exactly like the photos. Beds were comfortable. Price a little high for off season, but enjoyed our stay.

I can't say enough good things about the service I received from this hotel.

Still here, the service from the front desk was great, needed batteries for the remote control, call the front desk and in less than minutes they arrived and solve the issue.
Thank you.

This hotel is so amazing. We miscalculated and didn't book the ferry in time so we extended our stay.

I had an amzing one-night stay at the Coast Bastion Hotel! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I arrived.

I am in Nanaimo very often, and as a Marriott guy, straying from the Marriott brand is not something I normally do. When the Marriott Courtyard was sold out, I booked a room at the Coast Bastion.

Great place to spend the night before flying out of Victoria airport. Spacious room with lots of facilities and a great view out over the Salish Sea.

This is an older property with an exceptional location. Ocean-view rooms with a balcony are recommended. Close to restaurants, shopping, and a liquor store.

We come to the area quite frequently to visit family and were excited to try out a new hotel. The location (for us) is perfect, as it is close to our family.

Seems like a fairly new hotel right off the Victoria Airport. Regular airport traffic, but the design keeps the sound to nearly non-existent from the rooms (I had a room facing the airport).

We stayed here for four nights and had a very good experience. The room was large, clean and quiet, and the kitchenette was well equipped and very useful during our stay.

Our family of 4 stayed here on 25-27 of July, 2026. Excellent service, clean and nice, comfortable room, with a big fridge, microwave, coffe machine, thermostat, and balcony.

Booked a room last minute after visiting the gardens. Was a nice resort. Everyone super nice. The food was great. Happy hour burger was one of the best I have ever eaten.

We got married at Brentwood Bay Resort in May — a full buy-out weekend with 95 guests — and choosing it was one of the best decisions we made.

We loved our stay at the Inn on Long Lake. Resort vibes right in the middle of Nanaimo. Access to water sports like paddle boarding, and kayaking. Can feed fish right off the dock.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Inn on Long Lake! We were greeted by Monique at the reception who was very pleasant.

The is a great stay-especially if you fly into Nanaimo and are heading to the West side of the island and need to provision.
The Front Desk fellow was very helpful and accommodating.

This hotel is a gem!
