This hotel has charm and character; simple and unpretentious but you really feel as if you're in old Quebec. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the breakfast menu, while limited, is good. Great location. The hotel is only 10 minutes walk (uphill) from the Pl. De Armes, or 15 (level) from the old port. 10 minutes walk from the train station (level). And the market across the street is not to be missed. Highly Recommended.

Good location, dirty-nasty carpet with a terrible room smell. We have to buy Lisol to mascarade the smell. For the price we expected something else. Smelly rooms equal to bacteria, Fungus and zero housekeeping. Definetly an unclean antique.

We stayed here for 2 nights in Aug 2018. Our room was small but comfy. The washrooms/showers were clean. The only thing was a slight musky smell throughout the hotel. The location was great — across the street from a really cute farmers' market and walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in Old Quebec.

The service here is good. Food is ok. Clean rooms and location is close to the old city.

Well situated near the Old Port. Clean, efficient rooms, well designed and very comfortable.

Nice hotel close to Old Quebec. Everything can be done on foot. Restaurants nearby.

Okay hotel. The biggest disappointement was that we got two single bed side by side instead of a king bed. Not ideal for romantic getaway. The room were not very isolated, we could hear everything in the hallway and in other rooms as well (hair drier, elevator, etc) The room was small and had too many furnitures but the view was incredible, and the bathroom was great too. The bath was big and the shower felt luxurious in comparison with the rest of the room. The Wi-Fi was free and the breakfast included at the Verravin was excellent. Overall a very okay hotel. I don't think I would recommend, mainly because of the bed incident (which was not confortable) but I still had a great time.

We stayed at the Hotel Le Saint Paul, a nice and quiet hotel. The room was very large with a stove that simulated a fireplace. The bathroom was banyera and it was new. The location is very close to the centre. I would definitely recommend it.

We got a room just the opposite of the pictures. Old comforter, a lot of noise because very poorly soundproof.

Not a bad spot. Convenient to walk to train, Old Quebec. Needs some housekeeping, tlc. Recaulk the tub/shower unit in 26. Remove dust from bathroom vent but otherwise it’s acceptable. A fair size flat screen TV and bar fridge. King room is small. Bed is very firm. Large soaker tub which was nice as most places in Old Quebec have showers only.

Much better room than I was expecting. 3rd floor, corner, with Windows that open, large comfy bed, great location.

A lovely hotel with modern rooms in a fantastic location for exploring the old city. Rates include free breakfast and parking is available across the street at a special $11/day rate. Staff is friendly and courteous. The rug in the elevator was slightly askew.

Great location when arriving by train. Everything is within walking distance if you do not mind walking up hill.

We had the pleasure of staying at the gite cote de la montagne. A boutique hotel owned and operated by hotel Saint Paul. The location was right in the heart of old Quebec City. Absolutely beautiful room with a full kitchen and a terrace overlooking the chateau Frontenac. Would highly recommend this property.

A great boutique hotel within walking distance to the old town, port, railway station and bars and restaurants. It is very clean with nicely laid out rooms with ensuite. A restaurant is part of the premises and a cooked breakfast was supplied.

Located close to plano centre, clean rooms, the breakfast is in a bar annex. It is not cheap.

2-3 minutes from center. Super friendly staff and helpful. Price is good and place was very clean and cozy.

The rooms are rather small but very well kept. The bed, carpet and bathroom were perfectly clean. Flatscreen TV in the room with access to local cable/satellite service. Great service from the staff. Well located.

Excellent hotel, at feet of the center of Quebec, clean, modern and very nice.
Very friendly staff. We stayed 2 nights at Halloween, my 2 daughters and me and were very well received.
Small room (with 2 queen beds) but spotlessly clean, a nice neat old building, very good equipment, all being recent and in excellent condition.
The hotel is adjoined to a restaurant but the 2 are not related and therefore settle the notes separately. Not including breakfast and a rate in the standard of the Quebec City Center hotels, so quite high.

Live it, nice and simple yet trendy. A bohemian feel with a locak bar at the bottom. A must try.

We really lucked out with this hotel. It's really clean, and the price is quite reasonable for its proximity to the Old City. The rooms were a bit small, but we were looking for a cozy weekend anyway. The gas station across the street had a nice collection of beers, as well at the Marche Vieux Port which is also really close.
