The hotel is very clean and the staff friendly. They made us feel welcome. The room was just big enough for two of us. With a comfortable bed. Room includes a fridge which was convenient for keeping drinks cold. The location is great for driving to tourist spots in Gatineau and Ottawa. We had a great stay here. Will be back next time we come visit Ottawa.

Negative: Thin towels. Slippery bathtub. Extremely uncomfortable small queen size bed. Breakfast is minimal. Positive: Very clean. Close to various restaurants, boulangerie, casino, pharmacies, grocery stores. We have been coming here for five years. Think this will be the last time. They keep cutting down on positives…

Hidden gem. The hotel is very new and clean. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast should be improved as it should offer more selection. Guest needs a car to travel around as the location is not in the downtown.

We had a great little stay, the service is very courteous, the room was very pretty and the whirlpool very nice! The bed and the ears were very comfortable! I recommend and we will go back when we will be passing next time!

Clean room, nice beds, renovated bathrooms, good and convinient breakfast.
At about a 25 min walk from the Alexandra bridge (Canadian History Museum), so convenient if you are OK with walking a bit everyday and saving on parking.

This is a decent hotel with adequate service. It is not very beautiful around and in the evening to walk there is not much.

Me and my girlfriend booked ourselves a suit last night (13th of january). We arrived at the hotel around 4-5pm left our stuff in the room and left to go out. By the time we were out, our friends called and told us that we could stay the night at their place. So we went back to the hotel and ask politely the women at the reception if there is anything we could do not to pay the whole room because we are not going to stay. We even offered ourselves to pay a cancel fee not to make any trouble. The women at the desk said to us that there is nothing she could do because we used her room and now we have to pay for it. We asked politely again and even apologized for the inconvenience, but she always kept shouting the same thing over and over. The fact that we used her room that we only left our stuff inside to go out. I told the lady that I understand that probably that is the hotel’s policy and I apologized again, but again she kept shouting the fact that we used her room and now we have to pay for it and there is nothing she can do. We went upstairs took our stuff and immediately left. This was my first time staying at this hotel and i’m pretty sad that this was the way it worked out. There are more polite ways to talk to someone, she is the face of the hotel.

It's a lovely budget-friendly hotel. I always stay here when visiting my mother. I love how clean and quiet the hotel is. The staff are always super helpful and nice. Personally, I have never left this hotel unhappy. It's a great location for those who want to visit Ottawa without paying downtown hotel prices as it's literally a 35 minute bus ride away, or 15 minutes drive.

It was a nice little hotel with an alright location 5 minute drive to Ottawa 5 minutes to the casino, had a Walmart and dollar store close by, the room came with 6 pillows per bed and they where by far the best pillows I have ever used in a hotel.

The price and location are perfect. Deserves a facelift (rejuvenation).

Great hotel. Great prices, comfortable room, easy and free parking, free continental breakfast, walking distance to pizza shop, willingness to speak English, close to the bridge back into Ottawa. I'm not a hard person to please and this was a great place. Already recommended to friends who are visiting the region. Would definitely stay here again. Road to hotel is extremely rough and in bad shape, be careful.

Great service, nicely located, best prices in town. Room cleaning service is ok, they sometimes forget to clean some parts. Building maintenance is not the hotel's strongest side either. The parking lot can also be problematic: it's small, tight and always full. If you're ok with that, it's a nice place to stay.

Great inexpensive hotel. Breakfast and parking is included in the price. Rooms are clean and renovated. Breakfast is diverse enough with eggs, sausages, potatoes, toast, bagels, cereal, fruit, coffees and juices. Beware when driving here though. The road this hotel is located on is awful to drive on and in desperate need of repaving.

We had to rent a room in this hostel as it offered rooms with whirlpool bath and was perfect for an evening to relax in love. We asked for a non-smoking room, the first room offered felt like smoking. So we were offered another room that seemed good! We wanted to enjoy our whirlpool, but after watching it we were out of fashion! It was dirty! So we talked with the very nice and professional receptionist and she offered us another room! Before I got caught up, I asked to see her and the bath was even worse! So we asked for a refund to go elsewhere (it was 20hrs) so we went downstairs for which phone his supervisor has. She refused to talk to us, refused to refund us and offered us a ridiculous compensation of $20 before taxes. I'm not only outraged but insulted. In short, we must now spend the night in this room which I strongly doubt the cleanliness! I don't recommend this hostel at all. The only positive side I have to say is that the receptionist is extremely polite, patient and comprehensive unlike her supervisor. Photo comment)

Warm person to hospitality, location and quiet in the hotel, impeccable, breakfast rooms and choice of film super screen, as well as Wi — Fi, near restaurants, track bike for 3 blocks gatineau Park… Everything is perfect.

Stayed for a night when visiting Ottawa. There was lots of parking spots available right outside. The service at the hotel was great with polite staff and prompt check in/checkout. The beds were very clean and the decor very modern. The washroom was clean with lots of towels available. If I have to find one thing wrong it would be the shower head was not very powerful. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with fresh croissants, breads, cereals and coffee available. It was not lavish but great to start the adventure in Ottawa. It was a very pleasant experience at this hotel and I'll be staying here again.

Simple, but clean at a reasonable price. Nothing extravagent, but comfortable, good service 24/24. Is not a tourist destination in itself, but an excellent choice for those looking for a quality hotel in a reasonable price.

Stayed here for one night, mainly for sight seeing in Ottawa. It's only a 10 minute drive from Parliament and very accessible along main streets. The staff is very friendly (even towards us English speaking folk) and the room was very clean modern. Not a single negative thing to be said about the place. There's a couple of pizza joints, high end restaurants and a fast food burgers and hot dogs joint all within a stone's throw. While the breakfast isn't a full blown cornucopia of what you'd expect, it was enough to keep my wife and I and our two kids satisfied (cereal, bagels, croissants, fruits and beverages). Highly recommended for those who want a cheaper alternative than staying in Ottawa, but do not want to sacrifice quality.

Fantastic and friendly service, comfortable bedrooms, and free breakfast! One of the cheapest hotels in Ottawa/Gatineau and surrounded by restaurants, our stay was a pleasure.

Excellent place, very good sevices, plaisant employees. And cheap! Will definitively go back again.
