We reserved a suite for our daughter and her husband for their wedding night. The hotel staff went out of their way to make it a romantic and memorable experience. It was just perfect — and apparently the eggs Benedict for breakfast (including a gluten free option) were just excellent.

Lied about promising to donate one toy for every share of their social media. Post has been taken back after it was shared over a MILLION times. This is an absolute despicable behavior especially at this time of the year!

Using sick children for their publicity is just disgusting! They should be ashamed of themselves.

You are always treated as though you’re their best customer. We’re from Montreal, and did a staycation there — we’ll definitely be back. Hope more Montrealers choose to stay here during this difficult time for the tourism industry. You won’t regret it.

5⭐️ thank you for an amazing hotel experience and suite upgrade this past weekend! It was our first Montreal visit but definitely not our last! Valet, room service and Oliver at the restaurant were so amazing! Mathilda had a bottle of champagne awaiting our arrival in our room! Ty for everything!

First experience for tea time! Excellent service! Everything was exquisite and perfect, a tea pear-asian, scones, tea sandwiches, bite-size dessert. Our tea service included a glass of champagne that we took to the garden, as the rain started, we finished on the inside next to the bar… again, excellent service 5 stars.

Food was fantastic. Presentation was nice but not over the top. Portions were good but not huge. It was the right amount of food to not gorge yourself. The service was friendly and formal. Multiple staff serve you. Bread is fresh baked and unlimited, as is coffee but not fancy coffees. Attire is semi formal for lunch and formal for dinner. There is both indoor and outdoor eating, as well as an open air patio. Cost is on the higher end. Lunch with coffee will run you $40. Dinner 60-100 more if you like wine.

Spent an evening at the Maison Boulud bar for drinks and food. Great atmosphere, comfortable chairs and sofas, amazing wine collection and good food. The gas fireplace was visible from every direction and gave a nice cozy feeling. The food and wine, as expected, was somewhat pricey. You can expect to easily spend $100 per person. I would say it's well worth a visit.

Swanky spot with exceptional client-service. Theo (client experience staff) was attentive to detail and determined to personalize our stay which included bubbly, macaroons, and rose petals. The entire staff delivered a truly elegant and memorable experience as first time guests at the Ritz-Carlton.

5/7 Bar and Tapas
Poor server in which I find that I was generous to give him a tip of 0.70 (when he should not have any). My friends and I are coming in for the 5-7, sitting at a table. Fifteen minutes passed, the waiter only dropped off a small bowl of peanuts without giving us the menu and offering us something to drink.
An hour to get his attention, he gives us the menu. Another half hour before we take our order. My girlfriends and I see that he doesn't have all his attention to us. Once the order was taken, we waited another half hour for our dishes. We call the server to ask for follow-up. He tells us in two minutes and he renotes our order. He comes back to our table to tell us that he cancelled the order because of the unconfirmed delay with us. Frustrated, we paid for our drinks and parties. Strangely, everyone around us had their dishes in time. We have the impression that he judged by our appearance (maybe he considers us teenagers). That being said, his attitude was very unpleasant. I seriously wish I could put zero as a rating.

I have to say the Restaurant bar was much nicer and attentive to details than the 5-7 tapas party! The 5-7 Happy hour party was not a great event for me. Service very slow, drinks for a well advertised happy hour were over priced! The purpose of happy hour are drink specials, the the tapas offered was regular price! We were told when ordering the tapas that it was special pricing not regular price! The bill was regular priced! I will return for drinks and food at the restaurant bar, but will not attended another 5-7 Happy hour!

I cannot appreciate many things more than perfected attention to detail. RC has achieved that flawlessly. Everything here is an orchestrated symphony of hospitality and professionalism. Our room was their lowest level room but it didn’t matter, it was still exquisite. Bar is nice but service not on par with other parts of hotel. Stayed here because of their commitment to a better future — Tesla destination and a level 2 EV Charger available with their valet.

I was very well served when I was in tie jackets, but when I was in t-shirt and jeans the service was not at the same height. That was a pity.

The best hotel in Canada. The rooms are so comfortable that you almost didn’t want to go out. I was celebrating my partner’s 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. Theo from guest relations was incredible. He really made us feel so welcome and was so hospitable. Every single staff member we interacted with could not have been kinder or more helpful. We can’t wait to come back!

We were there for a la carte breakfast. Buffet also available for the most greedy. Verrières and terrace behind the restaurant overlooking the gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel known for its 5-star service for all it's guests. A perfect establishment for celebrities, recent lottery winners, and members of royal families. Jokes aside, is this hotel expensive? Yes and you definitely knew that. Is it worth it? Yes, every cent.

Our stay was excellent. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. We came for an anniversary and were continuously treated to special, personal touches to make it a memorable experience. We enjoyed every minute.

Lovely old hotel, but lovingly restored. Staff was excellent — welcoming and friendly, and very capable and professional. Not a cheap place to stay, but a terrific one.

We took advantage of their tea & scones formula for my wife's birthday and as a romantic rendezvous for two, it was up to the occasion. I would have preferred a choice of music more classical than the energetic jazz that was served us, but the ambiance, the décor and the quality of the Teas and pastries made us forget this aspect that did not stick too much.

Distinctive and discerning high tea experience. The Palm Court was the perfect elegant setting for my partner and I to channel my English family heritage. The staff and service created a memorable experience. Merci.

I recently held my sister’s bridal shower of about a dozen guests at the Ritz-Carlton’s tea room. They were very accommodating of attendees’ allergies and dietary concerns, and everyone was pleased with the quality and taste of the refreshments we were served. Service was attentive, polite and unobtrusive, from the valet to the waiters. Everything was set up beautifully prior to our arrival and we didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable at any point. The surroundings are gorgeous and it was truly an excellent decision to use the Ritz as a venue for such a memorable event. Michael, one of our servers, was particularly impressive— a big thank you to him.

The view from my room was amazing. I have nothing negative to say about the staff. They were professional, courteous and smiling.

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton for my husbands work. Our stay was fantastic in every way! The service was wonderful, hotel was very clean, and the room had the best features. My husband wants to switch out all our toilets for the Japanese one featured in our room. Special thanks to the concierge/ baby sitter Janie. She did a great job taking care of our daughter Muriel! Better than many sitters I’ve hired at home.

Warm, inviting, accurate in anticipation. And that's just the toilet! There are few places in the world that can deliver on such consistent, high levels of service the way the Ritz-Carlton does. Very warm atmosphere. Summer the rear terrace is very well laid out (with the ducks in addition (! ) ). The staff were friendly and helpful.
My only downside, is the value for money meals seems a bit disproportionate. In other words, it's mostly for the ambience you pay rather than the intrinsic quality of the meals (you could have lunch as well if not better in a local snack).
That being said, the experience deserves to be lived at least once in his life… A ' ' classic ' '

The hotel with its restaurant was simply hammer. The service leaves nothing to be desired, be it in the restaurant as well as in the hotel. The reception was very friendly, the car was taken from the valet and the suitcases were transported directly to the room. The restaurant is lonely lace, the wine selection was overwhelming. Definitely the best way to stay in Montreal.
