Staff in the restaurant are ignorant. They suggested the calamari dish. Ended up getting sick about twenty minutes later. I decided to let it slide, but when I was out for a smoke I bumped into a server and told him about it. After speaking to him for a bit he confirmed the calamari comes in pre-battered and frozen. And that I should speak to his boss. So I did. The first words out of his mouth were "it's not the calamari, it comes in fresh! " I tried explaining to him that, him being so adiment it's not the calamari, meanwhile it comes in frozen and battered from sisco just doesn't make sense. He plays barman but am sure he runs the kitchen too. I have the feeling this isn't the first time he has had someone try to suggest that maybe some of his food is not up to par. Especially considering his quick ignorant reaction to my (pretty kind and low key) complaint. Then he tried telling me that people don't get sick twenty minutes (maybe a bit longer) after eating food. As if he is a doctor now? Needles to say the calamari was crap. Frozen sisco crap that wouldn't be worth it if it was given to you free of charge and with out any puking involved. My kids pepperoni pizza she ordered looked like it had been a experiment of some kind. And to be honest just from appearance I didn't even steal a bite out of her essentially two pieces she got. And only to be fair. The price seemed. Yeah. Bit steep.

It's a hotel. Near the airport. There are beds. It's clean. Look, it's a perfectly acceptable hotel and you are getting the exact value for your money you would expect to get here.

Large and spacious room, uncomfortable the sink outside the bathroom in the middle of the room. Pillows not very comfortable. TV, heating etc. Ok. Uncomfortable the restaurant without buffet for breakfast, the card takes too long if you want to fsre uns quick breakfast.

We stayed at MTL EXPRESS Airport Hotel for one night and it was an excellent value for the quality and service. Check In: we arrived at midnight and were warmly and enthusiastically greeted and checked in Room: clean, comfortable beds, shower was relaxing. Nice and hot. No complaints Breakfast: we would stay at this hotel again simply for the breakfast. It wasn't hotel food, it was restaurant quality food with a pleasant staff. Overall: don't let the name or star rating prevent you from staying here for the night. It's excellent value.

Simple airport hotel, unfortunately undergoing renovations during my stay. Room was clean and neat, free breakfast.

Comfortable rooms near the airport. The cards to the room did not always work, which annoyed. Otherwise, free internet, restaurant, good breakfast with great service.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, ideal location as it is minutes away from the airport and the service and food for dinner and breakfast were excellent!

Very friendly staff and beautiful cozy room. Worth the price. (don't go to their restaurant though, the service is horrible and the food is gross. The free breakfast is not worth much. )

Rooms were a little old and small but clean. Very close to the train station (walking distance) and free 5 minutes shuttle to the airport makes this a perfect hotel for an early flight departure (breakfast from 5am also helps that)

Decent hotel by the airport, nothing fancy, but does the job. Front counter staff very pleasant, breakfast is included. Rooms are decent sized but are starting to feel dated, carpets and a bit musty. Bed was comfortable, fridge, microwave and coffee machine in room. Hotel is non smoking but the floor I was on smelled of cigarettes near the vending machines. Morning shuttle runs to the airport every 30 mins, ride takes about 5 mins. Not my first choice in the airport area but still serviceable.

Close to airport. Clean. Good restaurant. I would stay here again.

It is a low cost hotel, 3 stars I think. Don't expect too much of it but it's not bad overall. People are friendly, rooms are clean, breakfast is included and it is a good breakfast also!

Rooms are great. The three stars given by me is simply because it is a 3 star hotel. The staff in the cafeteria (which is managed by a 3rd party) … Horrible behavior. They are extremely rude, I felt they were obliging me by giving me service. Definitely if this hotel wants to maintain its reputation, they need to either change the staff in the cafeteria to a more friendly one or maybe hire new ones. I would have definitely come back to this hotel if I ever came to Montreal again but by the nature of the staff in Cafeteria, I would not like to come again. please train your staff to be more friendly!

Rooms clean, very comfortable, not long from the airport, easy access to Highway 20

Room was good, comfortable. Wi-fi was working everywhere. Girl at the reception added 1 star to my rating, beautiful! Restaurant, if we can call it so, was awful, lady that served us, left at the middle of the ordering process, then someone else told us, she is nervous because it is not enough employees in here, that is why she is angry. Food at the same time, you have a coupon, but you have to pay lots of extra no fill yourself up.

Room was standard. Nothing over the top. Breakfast was good. Parking was a hassle. The lot was completely full. No major complaints.

Very clean, very courteous reception, see family! Of course, we can hear planes a few times (nearby), but all in all, nice (business) trip!

Very nice hotel and very good service, staff friendly and helpful. The room was very large 2 beds for 3 adults 1 child, breakfast queen hot for 4 people cooked egg tastes our bacon toast fruit potatoes and for me I could even have bread without gluten puor my intolerance. Wow I would recommend 100%.
I read the reviews and I was wondering if we had to book in this place but I really don't understand the people who said that it was not a good hotel, I'm very happy of not me being proud has these opinions which are not good at all!

Nothing, by far the worst hotel I even seen. The bathroom are so small. The airplane lavatories are bigger. The resturant by far is the worst staff I've ever encountered. Very rood and obnoxious anti Americans for sure. Don't stay there.

For a Best Western: five stars! They exceeded expectations 1. Soap — the complimentary soap was heads above what I normally expect. 2. Breakfast — normally I roll my eyes at a free breakfast. Cheerios and muffins in the lobby? No thank you. Here, we were served a sit-down meal at the restaurant downstairs (admittedly there was a $5 upcharge for some of the better options. But I'm used to paying twice that for similar items in Texas) and I was impressed. Be sure to not show up at the last minute; there was an impressive line as we left (ten minutes before breakfast was over). 3. Overall cleanliness. The room and hotel in general were much cleaner than I usually expect from a BW. 4. Courtesy — the staff was very polite, this is noteworthy as I am pointedly boorish (a trait my fiancée finds super exasperating, ESPECIALLY when we're traveling). There are other reasons why my night here was great (free Wi-Fi), and I'm not sure if it's that this Best Western is better than others. Or things in Montreal as a whole are kept to a higher standard. But three and a half thumbs up :).

Just returned from holiday May 2014 where my wife and I stayed at 8 different Best Western accommodations. Here's how your establishment compared to the others. I liked this Best Western Plus Montreal Airport Hotel although it of the 8. It was clean and comfortable but not quiet the first night. We had to change rooms because of equipment noise. There was something going on with the hot water, as their wasn't any most of the time. The staff were very friendly and apologetic. We drove into town, chose this one for the free parking and breakfast. Everyday you had to pickup small cards that got your made to order breakfast. Unique as different. I would come back again.

We had a very noisy room on the first floor! We hear the train station, the cars outside, in addition to ventilation which was hell of a noise! We have not closed the eye of the night.
For the same price, I think that there are better in the same corner!
Otherwise the rooms are large and clean and the service is courteous. The breakfast is fine, but allow time, since the service is not very fast.

Lots of noise! I got a room right next to the hall. People loudly talking in the hall whole night. Lots of traffic with noisy luggage in front of the door. Reception was totally confused with my reservation and their french as so-so. But my English is so-so. When it is not the people who makes sounds, It is the ventilation. Really it's that bad. Then the train. Yeah it is right next to the trains depot. I expected the plane noise. Really small bathroom. And the wall are so soaked in moisture that the Drywall Pop-off! Looks like there have been water infiltration many times in that room. Two separate bed but they also have been used a lot. You cannot sleep on the edge of the bed with your girlfriend cause you roll in the middle. So we did separate bed. Restaurant was ok. Restaurant service was friendly.

Good team, good shuttle service and good room, I will come back.

Clean and comfortable with friendly bilingual staff, who aways made me feel welcome. Breakfast and supper at the hotel very convenient.

I'd like to start off by noting that the previous reviews I have read here on Google were all two years old when I decided to stay here. The staff were friendly enough, though not very helpful, and rather poor at giving any sort of directions. The room was alright, but the bed was the hardest I've slept on in years, and I travel frequently. The washroom was not particularly clean and the restaurant was in poor shape with a very limited menu. As an airport hotel some aircraft noise is to be expected, but the soundproofing is nearly non-existent, so don't be surprised if an Air Bus wakes you up at 3 am. Breakfast was a scramble to find a table as the area is quite small for the size of the hotel, all utensils were disposable, as were the plates, and the food was unimpressive. I would recommend looking for a Tim Horton's to substitute your breakfast, but good luck finding anything around this location. The review sounds a bit harsh, but given what you will end up paying per night, more is to be expected.
