I’ve stayed at The Northridge Inn twice now. Tried the Glamping tents and also stayed in their spacious rooms. I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone who would love attention to detail, delicious food, excellent music, and perfect sunsets! 10/10

We had a lovely stay at the Northridge Inn and Resort this summer. It is awesome having the option of both a pool and a lake. The water amenities were incredible as well. I would definitely go back.

What an amazing facility. The grounds are kept impeccable. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Amazing pool area and fabulous bar. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It’s a home away from home met with elegance. There are a million reasons to stay at this resort and something fun for everyone! Great experience!

Amazing decor, amazing views, amazing food and even more amazing staff.
Stayed for enjoyment a few times and just got married here last weekend and would do it all over again if I could.

One of the most unique & charming places I've ever been. Loved the staff, was entranced by the tenting experience, food was amazing… coming back soon.

Stopped here for lunch about two years ago on a sled trip and the food was fantastic — they are on my list to get back here again. To stay this time!

So much fun. But who was the psycho running around scaring everybody and threatening them from 3 in the morning till sunrise? lol,,,, great place to visit and really, aside from THAT lunatic Sofonda Cox who clearly needs mental help, it was so much fun!

Family and I had a nice trip here a few weeks ago. The Inn is well decorated albeit a little odd with a mix of live and stuffed animals. Great location on the lake, access to canoes, kayaks and paddle boards was a nice addition! Most of the staff were very friendly. I found it odd at this price point a night to only receive 1ply in the bathroom. My biggest negative to the Inn is the restaurant — food descriptions were over inflated and exaggerated on the menu, was very expensive for what it was, and was very slow. A hour wait from time we sat down to get drinks, then another 30 mins for food. We made our reservation for 730 and entered an empty dining space. 4 other tables seated. I found it odd to be served cold left over vegetables as breakfast the next morning, but it saves on waste. There were also cold tomatoes at breakfast, yet dinner that evening was featuring "sun warmed tomatoes slices" that the server said had been warmed for 6 hours. We're these the tomatoes from breakfast? The food, and the bathroom quality, eclectic mix of living and artificial animals and house plants gave the Inn a very "instagrammable" feel — left me lacklustre and unsure about returning.

Had a fantastic time here during a two night stay in a room in the main building. The room was immaculate, the restaurant and breakfast were outstanding and I will definitely be returning soon!

Had such an amazing experience at this place. Loved the many activities you can do there. The only reason of why this review is not a 5 star, is because of the long wait times in the restaurant for the food around dinner time. But the wait was forgotten when I received the food because of how delicious it was. Recommend this place for anyone looking to have a fun time around a lake due to the many water and land activities to do around the Inn. Kayaking, croquet, and much more. Hope to come back.

Beautiful resort where we enjoyed a wonderful wedding. The lake and beach are fantastic. The Northridge team are also exceptional. Phot from the ‘glamping’ tent, which was rustic and charming, as well as lots of fun to stay in.

Our son married his sweetheart here. We needed exceptional.
The place is rustic, some may say a bit underwhelming at first site. The peacock, and birds may throw you off, as may the bicycles in the bike rack. When you take the time to add the welcoming and helpful staff, the beauty and charm of the lounge, the open patio, and pier onto Lake Bernard, the bonus free to use canoes, kayaks, and boards and it starts adding up. Add the right food, with flower petals in the salads, seasonal blueberries from the area, formal, yet informal seating area with the fresh Muskoka air near pristine landscape and wonderful clean lake water, it all becomes hugely tantalizing. My curiosity of the various cottages, glamping sites and Airstream turned to visits, as we met everyone, and had drinks on porches and balconies. And I could have stayed their much longer. It was the perfect venue for the wedding.

Just back from another stay at Northridge — and I do not even know how this is possible — but even better than last time! The upgrades are amazing — such a beautiful patio lounge! The staff — unbelievably helpful, friendly, and fun. You can tell they enjoy working there. Awesome amenities that are included — kayaks, canoes on the private beach area, picnic table in the lake,, pool, etc. I love that life jackets are in the chalets. Restaurant — we all enjoyed a delicious dinner & great service. Looking back through the photos I see my sons' smiling faces — that is reason enough to return. Thank you for creating such a fun & safe family friendly place to bond & relax & play!

Beautiful getaway! The grounds and staff are remarkable and gorgeous. Perfect mini retreat if you are looking to get away from the city.

This place is amazing! Its so beautiful. The lake and beach setting is great with all the water activities one could want including a floating picnic table. The rooms and the resort itself are stunning — definitely luxury in the woods. The staff is great. I swear there is nothing they can't do! Counting down the days until we can go back.

The north ridge is the most beautiful place that I have ever seen. I love the rustic look it has a warm feeling to it like you are coming back home. The staff are the best people that I can ever work for you would not find better people to work for. The view is amazing all around and the sights are outstanding. The rooms are all beautiful, the chalets are amazing and a great spot for the glamping. Everything about this resort is beautiful and wish I could say more about it but everyone is doing an amazing job there. Keep up the great work!

Beautiful location, stellar room, comfortable beds and so many amenities and activities available at no extra charge! We stayed for a friend's wedding — which was beautiful with excellent setting and food! — and are planning to return for our 5-year anniversary next summer!

The chalet we stayed in was great. Lots of room, nice decor and very private. There are a lot of amenities included as well. Boche ball, croquet, kayaks, paddle boards and other water activities. On top of the lake there is also a nice sized swimming pool available. Nice restaurant on site as well as many vintage board games available in the lounge.

We just spent some time at the Northridge Inn and it was beautiful and rustic. The rooms were spacious with a wood burning fire place, the shower is a rain shower and the beds very comfy. The views are spectacular with Lake Bernard in the background. Food was delicious and the staff absolutely amazing. I highly recommend you visit the Northridge Inn in Ontario's near north.

A rustic resort. They provide all the standard Muskoka getaway options (kayaks, canoes, SUPs, local vendors for power boating). A great thing about the resort was that they allow dogs. In fact, in certain areas dogs were allowed off leash (within reason). They also had picnic lunch options and you could buy starter logs for your in room fireplace. I would go again.

Loved this place, extremely friendly staff and a very relaxed atmosphere. The owners take pride in their attention to detail and offer a great customer experience. I will not hesitate to return there.

This resort is picturesque and is located on Lake Bernard, just 35 mins North of Huntsville. The facilities are very nice and the staff are really friendly. The decor is top notch and there are so many things to do. Every little detail has been thought of to make your stay the best it possibly can. There are canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, a paddle boat, badminton, croquet, board games and so much more. The swimming pool is very clean and has a 12 person hot tub close by. There are many loungers and fresh water throughout to keep you hydrated. There is a nice private beach with shallow water for the family to enjoy. It does get deeper for those who want to have a good swim. There is also good fishing in the lake with a wide variety to catch so take out a canoe or fish from the dock to get in on the action. If you order a picnic lunch you can have it on the floating picnic table in the lake. There is also a public beach with playground nearby and you can use the complimentary bicycles to get there. However we didn't need to do that as we loved staying on the property. Have fun if you go! We highly recommend it.

The owners David & Stephane have transformed the Inn! It is stunning… The renovations, decor, and attention to detail are evident… They have turned it into something beautiful. And of course the location on Lake Bernard is incredible! Did I mention that they have AMAZING glamping tents? I am a professional wedding photographer & was so impressed with this venue. As well, the team there are incredible! The service was above & beyond. The chef created a dinner that was not only delicious, but a work of art! It is an amazing place. Check it out!

I love the vibe of this place. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing and fun.

Extremely disappointing from a dirty room (upon arrival we discovered a dog chewed the corner of the coffee table and nobody thought to vacuum it up to mold in the shower), had to ask for TP, fireplace was not cleaned out, dirty coffee cups, etc. Etc. Staff tried to be friendly but they were untrained students. Restaurant was overpriced and most guests were going to a local grocery store and making their own meals. We stayed for two nights Aug 15 and 16, 2016

The service was great and the people were very nice. The food was amazing! The only other thing I would have to say it's the rooms needed a little bit of updating/decor, and there wasn't too much storage/counter space, particularly in the bathroom. Otherwise it was very nice!

Extremely over priced for the issues we encountered. We experienced a few problems, one of those was finding a few blood spots on our "clean" sheets. When we reported it, they sent someone to take a look who confirmed there was blood on the sheets. They tried to hint that it was ours but neither my husband or I had any cuts and when they checked the mattress, there was none. They apologized but that was all. The bathroom door and the closet doors would not close due to the fact that they were misaligned. My pillow also had a rip on the corner and the stuffing was falling out of it. The area is absolutely beautiful but the room left a lot to be desired.

We just had our wedding here this weekend. I would highly recommend this venue. They have a friendly and helpful staff. The whole day went off without any issues. A venue like this is ideal as they take care of pretty much everything so you can just relax and enjoy the day.

I had a lakefront room. Food was very good. Friendly staff, and a great experience all around.

I love this resort. I've rented the Chalet now in the Summer and in the Winter and both times equally amazing. They recently did renovations to the whole resort and it looks amazing. The dining room was even fully updated since the summer and it is stunning, very chic. It is located on a small lake called Bernard. The staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. It's great for Families and for couples. We'll be back every Summer and Winter to enjoy both seasons.

This is one those hidden gems. We were given a 2 night package from my folks for Christmas. We had an amazing time. The resort has that warm and cozy feeling to it. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Food was excellent. We will definitely be back again.

I won't even talk about how beautiful and peaceful it is here, because anyone can see that from the photos. What I will talk about is customer service. I will admit that our first of 2 nights at Northridge for our mini-honeymoon wasn't the best first impression. There was a problem with the kitchen when we arrived, and our first night we had an issue with the in-room fireplace around 2:00am and were not able to get ahold of anyone to help us. However, we awoke the next morning to find a hand-written apology card taped to our door (really appreciate not waking us up! ) and upon actually speaking to Stephane the owner, it turns out that a late-night storm was the cause of both issues. Despite the fact that all of our problems were completely beyond the control of Stephane or anyone at Northridge, their immediate response was to apologize and compensate us appropriately for the troubles. He even specially turned on some bistro lights that were still set up temporarily on the beach from a recent event, simply because we asked. In terms of time of year travelled, we hit a strange period where it was between the summer and winter peaks. It was amazing during the day as we had free reign to use pretty much anything we wanted since there were so few other guests, but in the evening it was hard not to feel a bit like an inconvenience when the lounge was staying open just for us.
