Been here for 3 years and loving it. Great family place. The owners and staff are awesome. The beach is beautiful.

Very laid back quiet place. Natural beauti abounds.

Booked our Atv trip with Nick the owner. He really knows how to make it personable and professional. His resort is in the works of being renovated. One things for sure he knows how to cook! Thanks again silver sands! Darcy, John and Riley.

Booked a room in the motel but showed up with an extra person Nick the owner offered a room with the option for an extra bed. He is currently renovating and improving his resort and he is try to make it nice for families to enjoy. He opened his restaurant and made us an unexpectedly superb meal there was so much delicious food on our table we were the only people staying there at the time and he was working on the place so he certainly didn’t have to take the time to make us feel so welcome. But his hospitality is amazing he sat and talked with us and he felt like a member of our family. Like I said he is renovating and I believe when it is finished it will be an excellent place to go. But even as it is it was very nice and we hope to come in the winter for our snowmobile trip.

We stayed at the Silver Sands resort over the Canada day long weekend. What a great experience. Rooms are nice, and equipped with a mini fridge TV and private bathroom. The place is kept immaculate, it is beautiful, clean and peaceful. A very short walk from the room to the beach.
The beach is amazing, nice and warm. Shallow at first, great for younger kids swimming…
The staff was very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful.
They have an on-site facility where you can rent ATVs, dirtbikes, boats, and canoes. We used them to go fishing, we caught some bass and pike.
Overall, a great weekend, we would definitely come back to Silver Sands Family Resort!

We were at Silver Sand Resort for a couple of days. The place is very beautiful. Loved the owner and the people who work there. We had our car stuck in a ditch for few hours and the people who own the place went out of their way and helped us take it out. Cant thank them enough. An amazing experience with a splendid view and wonderful owners. Highly recommend.

We own a trailer here. I love this place. My kids cry every time we have to go home. Lots of kids and great families alike. The owner is so wonderful. The beach is gorgeous. I haven't fished personally but I seen a few people pull out some nice Size bass and there is trout in the river. Lots of people go mushroom picking in the fall. Lots of people going around on atv on the trails. Lots to do. Just want to say thank you again to Nick and his family and Joe and Lyndsy.

Stayed here for a nearby wedding. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast the next morning was delicious!

Nick was a great host. He took care of my guests for my wedding, and served a delicious breakfast. Cant reccomend enough!

Attended a friends wedding… stayed here for the night, rooms were updated and clean… fridge in the rooms… staff went above and beyond shuttling us from the hotel to the wedding and picking us up later that night… owner made us breakfast next day for the wedding party and guests… was fantastic! Thank you!

Beautiful location and amazing customer service! A wonderful place to visit for a meal or stay for few days. It's right on the snowmobile trails!

Trevor Demain. Would be the old owners son. The family continues to give the resort a bad reputation as Trevor has not been to the resort to know how the managers are. The food is awesome with better prices than the surrounding restaurants and resorts. Premium gas on site. Nice sandy beach and right on the snowmobile trails.

Best resort in the area. Very clean beach. Restaurant on site and many activities around.

The little cottage cabins are a complete dump. We booked in January for 4 adults and 4 children. We booked a 3 bedroom cottage, and when we arrived, I got the smallest cabin with 1 double bed and the other room had a bunk bed. Where was the other family supposes to stay? I can't believe how much they want to charge for a weekend rental. The cabins are such filth, my wife wanted to sleep in the car! Dog food everywhere on the floor. Peanut shells everywhere. Cabin 5 6 7 had NO coffee maker, utensils. Cabins smelled musky. Fire pits were left full of garbage. Electrical outlets exposed. Be careful DO NOT go here for that kind of $$$.

Be careful because the owners of this resort were changed. The houses have safety issues (Electric), the service is very poor, including the toilets are broken inside the house and outside (they’re plugged). The owners do not provide the term and conditions, and after a few hours they interfere with the relaxation of the family with respect to their rules. Then concerning the breakfast. I took a drink and ate one bagel most likely expired. We are not trying to change anything, we’re are just giving you some facts on our experience. If you want to rest, I would like you to have a much better rest than this place is going to give you.
