Nice hotel, newly renovated, clean, friendly staff. Good location, Close to a lot of stores and restaurants.

Stayed here for a family reunion recently. Staff were very helpful. The room was above my expectations, it was very clean and modern. I would definitely recommend the Lotus to anyone travelling to the Cobourg area.

We had a group, total 3 rooms, all rooms were very clean and comfortable and fully equipped with self controlled A/C, fridge, microwave, kettle, cups, coffee, towels. The management provided excellent service and was very personable. The location is great, with lots of facilities within walking distance. I highly recommend this motel!

I enjoy the stay at the Lotuce always accomadating and reasonably priced.

Very rude and poor service told my boyfriend and I we werent allowed to have guests. Also heard there has been several complaints of bed bugs!

Staff was great. Renovations were done to are room. New carpet, bathtub, toilet. Very clean, pillows comfy. New owner fixing & cleaning motel. Already booked room for next year holidays.

Wasn't too bad. Pillows were comfy. Fridge was big. Jacuzzi was a great experience. Although, there was no AC, there was a fan to keep cool. Location was convenient for food and coffee.

We stopped into this little Motel yesterday. First thing I always do is check the bed for bed bugs and anywhere else that bed bugs would lie. There is not one single bed bug in room 102 which is the jacuzzi suite. It was clean, comfortable, and you can hook up your Netflix account right on the TV. We had a great night reasonable prices and I like the owner.

Iam by far disgusted and outraged that I go for a 1 night stay as a get away being a mother of 4 and to enjoy my cousins wedding and when I came back to go to sleep I realized I wasn't alone on my bed :/ I have videos and pictures of bed bug infestation in room 115. This was found at 3am. I then go to wake up and notify the front desk and he doesn't leave his doorway says they are not bed bugs but doesn't want to even step in the room to check. He doesn't hesitate when my fiance demanded our money back he then gives us our 95$+5$ lol but says his rooms are sprayed… that is by far false as I have many pictures and videos of a complete infestation. Further more it states that it takes 4-6 weeks for a freshly hatched egg to become an adult. I feel very angry that I could have brought this home to my 4 children I will never recommend this place and I will be going further. This is a disgrace and needs to be dealt with immediately!

Pleasant stay. Large room for the price. King size bed. Clean washrooms. Fridge and microwave in the room. No Wi-Fi.

We had the fortune of being welcomed by one of the most wonderful human beings we've ever met. The world could do with a lot more individuals like the worker they have running the desk there. The price was pretty good too.

Don't stay at this Motel UNLESS you like: no security lock, reverse plumbing (cold is hot and hot is cold), no blankets on the bed (in winter), extension cords instead of permanent wiring AND most of all spiders crawling up your leg while you shave! The management staff hides behind the fact "we only manage, not make the rules". We booked for two nights and left early the first morning. The management absolutely refuse to refund the second night, when I complained about the spiders and lack of security I was told "well this is a Motel you know". American Express had been notified about services offered but not provided. In fifty years of traveling the world, this was the worst place I have ever stayed.

Customer service is something the staff need to learn immediately.
