Great stay! Super friendly and helpful staff. New beds and furniture make the room inviting and comfortable. Can't wait to come back again.

We stayed two nights, in one room, and our friends two nights in another room. Here's the good and bad: GOOD: Clean, Quiet, spacious, convenient. Very Good: Extremely friendly and welcoming staff BAD; Look, it's an old hotel, so the wallpaper is peeling off in a few places, and it is showing it's age. Our friend's door lock was not working, causing some inconvenience. SUMMARY: Despite the age, they are doing their best and we would stay there again. Especially at that price.

Needed a place not to far from the Falls. About 15 minutes out, all in all, a solid experience. The hotel is going through renovations, but the staff was super nice and accommodating. Will probably stay here in the future.

All in all a good stay for the price. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Bed was a bit stiff, but fluffy pillows. About 30 minutes from Niagara Falls. A bit of an odd smell when you walk in to the room. We were able to use the HDMI in the TV. On the first floor you can drive your car up to the sliding door to load/unload. There was obviously work done on the rooms, but the screw holes and discoloration were left on the walls where whatever used to be there was. Furniture is a bit outdated. There is a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast had toast, bagels, English muffins, cereal, coffee, tea, apple and orange juice, oatmeal, and bananas, though you can ask for waffles or French toast apparently.

Customer service at it's best! Very impressive new interiors and had a very comfortable stay!

Newly renovated and great location. A lot of restaurants nearby had a very pleasant stay.

Booked through app and was really impressed with the newly renovated rooms. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. Next time I am in town I already know where I will be staying.

This place is a joke. The new owner Sunny who is going to be turning the building into a Travel Lodge is a joke. He’s cheap and lies to his employees. The building is full of mold and there’s even raccoon in the attic. To which I had to go in to install security cameras. The front desk lady Veronica Moffatt and her Husband are an absolute joke. They are the rudest people ever, they steal from the hotel and I have proof of items that they have in their home. All in all not the best place to go to. Either is the one down the street called Canada’s Best Value Inn. I would spend the extra money to go to the Best Western. Be very cautious in what information you give them. I would NOT suggest giving them any credit card information.

The Canal Inn is in management change and will be opening as a Travel Lodge with a grand opening happening in June 2018. There will be a soft opening in the middle of February as renovations are looking good and on their way to completing. Will be a very nice play to stay with one of the best family restaurants in M. T. Bellies across the street.

Hated it, real dirty nothing is clean anywhere in the hotel really wished I haven't even went there in the first place! 90 percent of the people staying there r from a homeless shelter who funding there presence.
