Spent 2 nights. Wish it had been longer.
Rooms and resort is tired and needs some TLC but service was great 😊
The amenities were great for our 3 yr old 6 yr old and 7 1/2 yr old. They need a couple more camp fires
Lots of stairs beware.

Huge blow up entertainment for kids
Tennis
Kids slept like babies.

Great holiday here with my family. We stayed an extra day! Fantastic resort, great facilities and customer service was top grade. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure!

Great place to play golf and relax. The golf course is fair with generous fairways and a pretty layout.

Golf course is amazing; it's in great shape and very scenic. Resort is ok. Clean rooms, out dated, very basic.

We've been coming here for 6+ years with our family. Dog friendly, good size clean rooms, an amazing lake front property and friendly staff. Golf, tennis, basketball, and even a sand volleyball court all within a short walking distance. Live music on Sunday and Tuesday nights on the amazing patio. Food is great and the kids love the inflatables and paddle boards. The bonfire is a great way to complete the evening.
Don't forget to visit Hamer Bay Marina for Kawartha dairy ice cream right next door!

Our family just returned from a few days at Rocky crest, outstanding! the rooms were spotless and the waterfront and activities were amazing for the whole family … kudos to Christie who works with the rec dept on the waterfront! she is is 100 % customer focused! thank you for a wonderful getaway … we will be back next year for our annual August getaway!

I was lucky to spend the last few days here with my work colleagues. The resort is beautiful, the suites are spacious, and the staff was AMAZING! Everyone was so friendly! Such a great experience!

Totally overpriced cabins, that are in dire need of updating. The resort restaurant food was horrible and overpriced. After our bad experience there we took all meals at the golf course.
We will not return.

The only negative would be that it is slightly outdated, but again it was a cottage feel which is a plus. The facilities are great for both family and couples. I was very surprised how many kids programs they had here! As well, the lake is beautiful with a hugh water playground. All canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and surf boards are all included in the $25 resort fee. The food was above average compared to other resorts.

Just arrived and our room is not ready and cleaning staff are scrambling to accommodate. Check in staff have no idea we had breakfast included, late checkout, daycare for one day and other amenities included. Manager stated they have to look into it. Not off to a good start at Rocky Crest. I'll update as we continue our stay here. After our stay at Rocky Crest I must say we had a great time. After the first night our experience dramatically improved as we enjoy the lake and the amenities of the resort. The food was decent but nothing to rave about. Our best meal was in Port Carling at Turtle Jacks on the water. All in all we had a great time and would return again.

Great resort! I really liked the clubhouse as well for lunch and dinner. We stayed for a week at the end of July and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. They need to keep their hot tub and the two pools cleaner.

Excellent place for the young family. Has on the lake climbing and sliding, lots of fun. The Rooms are clean. The best restaurant is the clubhouse for both breakfast and dinner. Only downfall is there are lots of stairs.

We went for 1 night and had one of the best days ever. The room was waterfront with a great view and very quiet. The pool off the back path was like a secret oasis. The food was good and the service was good. It’s expensive but well worth it.

An amazing stay, as always! We were staying in the 2 bedroom loft and it was spacious. Everyone was super friendly and me and my kids had so much fun doing all the water activities! There are canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, paddle boards plus 3 water floaties you can climb and slide/jump off of.

Great facilities, the pool and hot tub are great for the evening and offer an excellent view.

Worked here for a few months, rooms are really run down and gross, the owner ken treats his staff very badly and has a very bad attitude only thing good about this place is the golf course!

Stayed in one of the cottage — great space, lots of space for a big family, great outdoor space too. Only downside is the Wi-Fi gets overloaded very easily.

This resort is tired and needs a serious update. Little or no money has been spent on maintaining it in the recent past. Pool was green, hot tub didn't work. Toilet in room rocked so bad you could fall off it! Carpets frayed, several window panes broken. Poor lighting in some areas at night and a lot of steps to navigate, some with no railings. Window seals were broken so windows were fogged up. Towel hook falling off the wall and bathtub (with dusty rose tile surround) had permanent stains in it. I could go on. All the staff we talked to were pleasant and welcoming and the room was satisfactory for cleanliness. We did have a good time but really can't give this property a high rating. Overpriced for its' condition.

This resort is over rated. Our suite has too many thing broken. Patio door kept banging shut, front porch light pulled off wall (dark returning from dinner) bedroom lamp could not be plugged in, over used of electrical outlet. One bathroom for 2 bedroom suite (4 people). Pool cloudy. Only positive was the helpful friendly staff. Clublinks focus is on golf ourse which was excellent. Next visit I would book different sleeping accomadation and drive to course. Very disappointed, especially when it was rated a 4 and $$$$.

We celebrated our wedding at this gorgeous resort this past weekend and it couldn't have been better! Everything was so perfect, including the weather we lucked out on! The resort itself is breathtakingly beautiful in every location, there were so many activities to keep the guests busy and the rooms are so nice and big with beautiful views! Our meals over the 2 night stay and our wedding dinner were amazing, we are vegan and had no problem finding options to eat and they accommodated us for our wedding dinner. The staff there are wonderful and very helpful!
If you are planning a visit I highly recommend this resort and if you are planning a wedding and looking to go the resort route definitely choose Rocky Crest, their on site coordinators Melissa and Alex were amazing and made the day so perfect and less stressful for us with their excellent team of staff busy setting everything up.
We will definitely be returning on our anniversary!

Beautiful location and staff are great. The Windows restaurant had amazing food for dinner last night… everything else is not that great. The resort is run down… do the owners not see the dirty siding, birds nest on the lights, danagerous walkways and steps leading to many of the areas… dated (very dated) rooms… with one air conditioning unit in one bedroom, where you freeze… while the rest of the unit is like a sauna… they really need a wake up call… I didn't post any pictures but there was food in the sink from the previous guests; the dining table was not wiped down; there are scuff marks on many of the walls; handles are missing on windows to open them; and what really was a major turn off, the entire suite reeked of bleach… it looks like some of the furnishings were updated but they didn't match the 70's dressers… my advice would be, take a look at the outsides of your units; clean them up and power wash the sidings and windows; fix your steps and walkways; pick the garbage up; pick the garbage up out of the streams… the front of the house staff were amazing…

First time here with my family, I think it's wonderful, enjoying the loft we are staying in, it's cute and comfy. I love my spas and the spa here is excellent. I love the spa services, amazing water activities for the kids, I love the restaurants food is great. Staff are friendly. I think only thing they could improve on is there coffee in the suites. But above all, it's amazing. As well because it's muskoka, the view is beautiful. It's your escape from the everyday in the city.

Amazing pet friendly family resort on the lake! The restaurants are awesome and the kids love the watersports and toys. We come here every year and it's always a fun time! Kawartha dairy ice cream served at the marina! And breakfast at Windows with the sunrising over the lake is a must!

Had a relaxing stay at Rocky Crest. Great facilities however frustrated trying to get lounge chairs. Wish they had a better system for that. All chairs taken early but hardly anyone using them through the day. Boat cruise was great and good food.

We had an amazing family vacation here. We stayed in the "cottage style" places a small 5 minute walk from the main complex. They were very close although not on the water. We had a kitchen and made our own meals, so I cannot comment on the food at the restaurants, but from what I heard and could see, the food was great. The rooms at the main building have a very small kitchenette I believe, so be prepared to eat at the restaurant quite a bit. The pool was clean and the kids had a fun time playing in the pool. The lake was also very clean and the small beach area along with the dock, provided lots of space to lounge and or play with beach toys. We could sign out paddle boards and kayaks/water sports items with ease and this provided lots of fun on the water. Highly recommend!

It is a beautiful resort! The location is perfect! The room was amazing! The service at the resort was also very good from the house keeping service to the restaurants and even the grounds crew! Would recommend Rocky Crest Golf Resort to anyone! Even if they don't golf!

Could be amazing. Resort is beautiful. Villa was amazing! Staff poor. Very unknowledgeable and unfriendly. Food absolutely terrible, Very low class. Said dress code for golf lounge — there was no enforcement. Ppl were very slobby. Staff were even dressed poorly. We had a burger it was dry and tasteless. Drinks were bland. They never even offered to take anything off the bill. And no one said goodbye. Restaurant overlooking the water with patio — food is a bit better. But unfriendly staff and they actually stand and watch you eat. Inside was run down and everywhere in the resort was very unkept.

I stayed here a couple of times over the past few years and it's been pretty good on both occasions. Staff is friendly and are willing to help. The resort offers different activities such as tennis (they need new racquets, though), basketball, swimming, canoeing, etc, all for free. I would visit again next time.
