This place was disgusting! I would give them no star if I could. First they had issues with the room keys, so if you left your room only the person at the front desk could open it. Second, they were clearly ripped off because the "updates" they went through were complete garbage. Lastly they didnt even clean the rooms properly, they smelled and no one cleaned them. If you don't believe me just look at these photos.

Pleasant, clean, friendly staff. Nice pool for a relaxing swim.

The best place to spend the night in Muskoka. Simply but comfortable rooms and good breakfast in the morning. Eso no ma'

I was actually only stopping by to get a bus ticket as this super 8 is now the Huntsville Ontario Northland bus stop. It's a good bus stop and the hotel staff let you sit in their lobby. If you're trying to buy a bus ticket just ask the hotel staff and you'll find it.

Great motel with everything you need. Good Wi-Fi too. Only problem is that the breakfast buffet wasnt opened.

Noisy the whole time I was tryna sleep also waz waiting at front desk for 45 mim until the desk lady woke up from here nap to assit me worse hotel experience ive had.

Key card didn't work when we first got there. Had it fixed and still needed to have the key card reactivated a few times throughout our stay. Very inconvenient when traveling with a 1 year old. Superstar breakfast wasn't super, cereal and toast was all that was there. The beds clearly not double beds. Only 1 towel in the room. Coffee machine hadn't been clean. Spider webs on ceiling.

This charming villa welcomed us off of highway 11 after a long drive. We were pleasantly surprised when our room had both a ceiling and a floor. The decorating was superb, a picture of a canoe called "Kil 55" with a hole in it made us feel right at home. The Super Starter breakfast really super started some diarrhea, as all that was available was frootloops and wonder bread. The hallway has that certain hasmat-suit flair found only in budget accommodations. Leaves you with a general feeling that this is where bad people meet late at night to complete shady deals.

Best rate in town, but don't expect anything fancy. The beds are pretty comfortable and you should get a pretty good night's sleep. So as long as you're not looking for anything fancy, this is a good place to stay.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Johnathan at the man desk was very professional and friendly. He let me borrow his personal USB charger to charge my phone. I would definitely recommend this place.

While this hotel is not the fanciest or most well appointed hotel in the area, it was clean and well maintained, the room was a good size with a beautiful view, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The price was great especially in this area at this time of year.

Big Room. Huntsville is worth it before Algonquin.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was completely rude. The rooms were not properly cleaned with stains all on the sheets requiring us to get new ones for the bed. The breakfast that is included is a bit of mouldy bread as well as cereal. I would never recommend staying at this filthy and gross hotel.

This place is horrible. We arrived around 11:30am hoping for an early check in and were told to come back at 3 (which is check in time and completely reasonable). We came back at 4:45pm and checked into our room. It was disgusting. There were toilet plungers in the hallway as well as dirty laundry and garbage. Our room was clearly NOT cleaned (beds were made but dirty laundry left on the floor, sticky substance on tables). We went to the front desk and asked for a different room and she was apologetic about it. She told us to "wait 5 minutes" and that she was going to "check on the room. " She was gone for over 20 minutes and clearly was trying to clean our room as fast as possible. It didn't help. It was still dirty and smelled of poop. There were dirty towels from the previous people in our bathroom, pubic hair in the bathtub. We checked on the breakfast area and there were crumbs everywhere. When we had breakfast there the next morning (all hotels were full in Huntsville otherwise we would have left), the staff member walked into the breakfast area in BARE FEET and scooped the coffee into the coffee machine using her hands. Also. To the staff. CHANGE THE WATER IN THE ENTRANCE! It's great you want to have fruit flavoured water in your lobby but please change the water throughout the day and throw out the fruit in between. Water is not meant to be brown with oranges floating inside.

It was really good experience. Last week I visited with my family having 2 kids we njoyed a lot. Specially the owner and the staff was very soft and helpful to show the nearby good places to visit. Room was good and clean well mentained. Best place to stay with family.

Wonderful people, excellent motel. All good. I don't understand the negative reviews. They are not true. Our experience was good in every way. I will stay there again.

Clean rooms. It was one of the only places available on short notice. Quickly helped me out in a jam.

They keep A/C off to save electricity bill and they will tell you A/C not working since this morning. They will tell you somebody will come to fix but they always tell everybody like this. They are providing 50 % less items in breakfast than what customer service rep. Promised you.

I'm not normally one to complain. Stayed here with my wife Lucy. Rooms are typical. Our main concern was that it was like 80 degrees in our room at night and it seemed like the ac didn't work.

Do not stay here in the summer! The air conditioners are locked out to run at max coolness at 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The windows do not open. You will not sleep. The owners will give you excuses saying the ac is wired backwards. And that the ac unit runs off a central air. Nothing but nonsensical excuses to save a few bucks a night.

The room was nice, beds were comfy and clean. The in room fridge was a nice touch, fit 48 cans of beer no trouble. The bathroom shower, was build for dwarfs and trolls. I got a good workout doing squats to get my head under the shower head. But the water pressure was strong with very soft water. Now the breakfast… initially dissapointed to the selection, no yogurt or fruit. Just bread muffins and cereal. I opted for cereal, to be dissapointed by room temperature milk. Plan b was toast and orange juice, or should I say orange syrup, way too sweet. The front desk worker was pleasant but didn't offer much assistance to finding dinner in town. Will not return.

Comfortable for a great price.

My husband and I stayed here over a weekend in November. Updated rooms. Nice big TV's, fridge, microwave and coffee maker in rooms. The bed was very comfy for a budget hotel. Staff were friendly, although rarely at the front desk. Website advertises laundry, but there is no on-site laundry for customers. Sort of misleading. Breakfast was good — just coffee, muffins, toast and cereal. I don't eat much for breakfast so that was goood for me! Room got VERY warm very quickly with the heat on — we ended up turning the heat up but slept with the window open just to get some airflow. The Wi-Fi worked very well! Quiet, clean, simple hotel. Definitely would recommend for anyone trying to stay on a budget.

We had a reservation, so we stayed there. Otherwise, we would have gone some other place. The person at front desk barely could not speak to us about the city, where to go, restaurants or anything else… Breakfast had cereal, and muffins, place was hot and cramped… the room was just ok… will not return.

Stayed 1 night on feb 15th 2015. Overall experience — great. The interior looks new, I couldn't find anything to complain about. The breakfast wasn't much — just bread, milk, cereal, jam, butter, tea/coffee, a few muffins. It could do with some cheese at least. But I guess what do you expect for $60 we paid for 2 adults, 2 kids.

I’m usually not somebody to complain I would normally be understanding however I would never go to this Hotel again nor would I suggest for anybody to go. The room was terrible the only reason we didn’t turn around and checking in somewhere else was because it was too late at night. When I was about to turn in to bed I notice a few crumbs and wiped them off I thought it was my husband then when I open the sheets I notice even more like the bed wasn’t changed from the previous night. I then got to the next bed and notice a huge pee stain… so to make sure it wasn’t just a stain (this next part is gross) I ask my husband if he could smell it? And to my surprise it wasn’t washed. I when downstairs and ask that my sheet be changed so I could actually get in bed. The person at the front desk was very apologetic and came up and changed my beds. The next day I was taking a shower and notice the bottom of the shower curtain hadn’t be washed in a while since the end was all yellowed… and to make matters worse the tile above where you can hand your close had a huge MOLD spot as big as a diner plate … I have no clue why I didn’t see that the night before. Either way it’s too bad I cannot give it zero stars… and the only reason why they deserve 1 start was due to the person in front desk helping us out that night.

Spent a couple of nights here and really no complaints. The free breakfast is not a full continental breakfast but enough to get you through till lunch. The hotel was quiet and rooms clean. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee BUT I'm thinking if you asked front desk they would supply. We didn't ask. Asked for a later check out and no problem. For the cost $128.00 for the two of us. I would recommend it. Why pay the big bucks when you can get a reasonable room.

Looks a little frightening from the outside because some parts i. E. The railing is bend to the side and still in its old color orange. Seems as if they just finished modernizing the hole building from scratch. Rooms are clean and tidy. Only the microwave was a little bit dirty inside — maybe they just missed to clean that up the last time. Can happen. Can't say anything negative — and that for just $54 ($61 incl. Tax).

Clean and comfortable rooms. Everything new in rooms.
