Beds are pretty good, place is decently clean, and the water pressure is pretty good.

Woke up with bed bug bites. Service was unapologetic and finally refunded night after very rude exchange.
Had to fumigate car and luggage at my own expense. Spent next 2 weeks stressed about bringing home these little uninvited guests.
Doubtful ownership remedied the issue as they showed little responsibility, concern or care. Lack of basic decency. Bites became bloody and more itchy in time. Took weeks to heal. Nightmare stay, not made easier by rude treatment.

I highly recommend the Select Inn if you are needing a room to stay for the night or even a few nights. One of the nice parts besides it being well kept and very clean is that they have a full size fridge as well as a microwave which is really good for a place that is in the middle of nowhere.
I will definitely use them again!

Typical Northern Ontario motel. Bed was good… the service was terrific. The owner let us bring our dog even though it was not dog friendly due to the duress situation of hwy closing. Great folks.

Out dated, dirty floors and floor mat, odd smells through the place, chipped paint, disgusting heater in washroom, dirty towels, breakfast is a loaf of bread in a fridge with peanut butter and jam that have been contaminated from prior use, not to mention the electrical code violations, terrible. Extremely over priced for the hole in the earth this place is.

My husband brought me here for my birthday back in March. Great prices, great and friendly service. We love it so much that we came back for a visit and stay. Great views from the rooms. Centrally located to all the amenities. If you need anything just let the owner know and he will get it for you right away. Nice quiet place to come to to be able to relax.

This was a very quiet and well kept place to stay. We were travelling to Winnipeg from Barrie, and got stuck up in the middle of no-where, it would seems. We found their sign along the highway and called for a room. It's a good 35-45 minute drive off the highway, but it was well worth it. These folks take pride in keeping the place clean. Our children had a very good rest. I enjoyed my stay here.
Not sure if they offered breakfast, we got up the next morning and just moved along on our journey.

A little ways off the Trans Canada Highway but worth the stop I think. Peaceful town, great staff with good prices. Clean and comfortable rooms. What more could you ask for when looking for a good night's sleep?

My husband was visiting during the long weekend. We had access to fridge and microwave. The room was spacious with a round table and chairs. Very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast room was self serve. Very well welcomed.
