Super 8 by Wyndham Kapuskasing

I highly recommend this hotel! The rooms are clean, the ambiance is welcoming, and the staff (such as Jill and Amélie) are uber friendly. Thank you for making my time in Kapuskasing so memorable!

Nice rooms, however multiple staff members speak to you rudely and condescending manner. Then it changes when you're a diamond member. Funny how that works. But the if you like being talked to in this manner then you will like this place.

I am a long time Wyndham rewards member. Typically we stay at a different Wyndham property in the area but it was unavailable. Tried this one. Room very nice. Amenities good although not something we’d use would use in our short overnight stay between driving days. Nice ‘green’ features. Property is too far on the outskirts for our liking. If you’re travelling with pets check the room upcharge. Rooms at the back are quieter.

Loved the layout of the family king suite. The bunk room is perfect for the kids and having a PlayStation for them to use was awesome! I wish more hotels offered this! The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Pet friendly room was Excellent, super clean, no smell, very good service. Beds were super comfortable. Good breakfast. I am very picky and I can say this hotel is perfect.

Going down hill like the rest of local places to stay (sorry folks). As soon as we get into the room, there are dead flies and other goodies laying on the bed, on the bathroom counter, windowsill (most likely place). Not sure if they keep top floor for families with kids but the ceiling dancing wasn’t enjoyable today the least. Yes, it’s the best of the worst here but after staying all around town for several years and this being our “go-to”, it’s time to start shopping Airbnb options.

I have stayed here for 1 night. Very good experience and my stay was very comfortable. New and upgraded furniture and rooms. My sheets were cleans and smelled great. Washroom was super clean and loaded with all the supplies. They also have pool and gym on site.
Special thanks to their staff, they are super friendly and cooperative. They have let me use washrooms and take coffee even after I checked out. I had to stay in their parking lot for 5-6 hours after checkout due to hwy 11 was closed for accident happened.
Semi truck trailer parking is available.

Best Stay in Kapuskasing!
I had an absolutely amazing experience staying at the Super 8 in Kapuskasing! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendliest and most welcoming receptionist, which made me feel right at home. The entire staff throughout my stay was incredibly warm and attentive—especially the breakfast team, who went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.
The hotel itself was spotless! My room was not only immaculately clean, but also comfortable and well-equipped. You can really tell the staff cares about the experience they provide. Every corner of the hotel, from the lobby to the dining area, was fresh and inviting.
Hands down, the best hotel experience I’ve had in a long time. If you're ever in Kapuskasing, this is the place to stay. Highly recommend!

Clean sheets and pillows don’t smell like head. Pet friendly which is a must for us. Friendly and professional staff. Nice breakfast between 6 and 10. Overall great experience. Been using this facility every year for the past 5 years. Will be back next year.

This is a regular hotel, but we had a good stay. The staff is friendly and the beds are comfortable. We booked it because it has a pool for my son. The pool was great for him, note: the slide is gone and it kind of looks like a construction zone where it used to be, but it did not bother us. Breakfast was fine, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles and then the regular cereal and toast. Overall, a little pricey but the pool sold us on this one.

We got in at 1am and Jill the front desk lady was very accommodating and friendly. She knew how tired we were from travelling 9hrs with 2 young kids so she made sure we got in our room quickly. The breakfast lady was also exceptional! She made sure everyone was seated and and had a wonderful breakfast!

Check in was made so easy by the young ladies at the front desk!
Breakfast attendant was friendly and efficient. All of the staff were very accommodating and friendly!
The room was beautiful and clean! Definitely my first choice for a place to stay in Kap!
Thanks again!

Awesome stay, the bunk bed suite was amazing, staff was great. Clean, on the highway (passing through and spent the night).

Jillian and Nadine provided outstanding service during my stay. They were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made my experience truly enjoyable. I really appreciated their efforts and highly recommend them to anyone staying at the hotel. Great job.

Room was clean, comfortable. Front desk was helpful and polite. The pool and hot tub were a bonus, pool area was quiet and clean. The breakfast which is a little better then a regular continental breakfast, also a bonus. All in all a decent stay.

Positive: Hot tub Negative: We had to stay an extra night due to bad weather and the hotel increased their nightly rate by $70

Great hotel. Nice pool, hot tub, good breakfast and a clean, tidy hotel with good sized rooms. The kids loved the bunk beds! There is s fridge, microwave, dove bath and body products. Breakfast included, baked beans, waffles, eggs (boiled or scrambled), instant oatmeal, cereal, breads and buns, muffins, coffee, tea and juice and sausages.
There were also jams, peanut butter and cheese whiz packets (that was a new one for us). Pools slide had been removed, but it was still clean and nice. Shower right there to rinse off before and after the pool and bathrooms that can be used as a change area in the pool room too!
