Highly recommend the restaurant … we ate on the patio and the food was absolutely amazing. The steakhouse smashburger was the best burger I've had in I don't know how long. My wife had the grill cheese and it was delish. So big she couldn't eat it all. Our server Ashley was really good … efficient and friendly … no doubt smiling behind her mask. Definitely heading back again…

Unfortunately we had booked a room months prior and showed up with a 2 hour timeline with 25 guests and was only given one server that was new… so slow and the food was a disappointment with only one vegetarian option… definitely a disappointment.

Visited The Parlour Inn for a business dinner this evening — and WOW, what a beautiful place and great experience! The dining room is beautiful — food was excellent and the service provided by Sharon was perfect! I’m looking forward to staying here on my next trip, very impressed!

Great place for a wonderful dinner and great timing for you to get to your performance on time. It's a place to sit through your meal with stretchy pants, because you will love dessert.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the parlour inn, located in the centre of Stratford. Always enjoyed our stay, great for lunch and an excellent breakfast and the LCBO is just across the street. They also run a shuttle service to and from the festival theatre. We were royally treated when the staff knew it was our wedding anniversary and we received a bottle of wine in our room with the customary single rose. Great atmosphere and very good service. Highly recommended.

Went there yesterday. The restaurant was completely empty. We were told that they couldn't sit us (2 people) because they were 'totally booked' and to come back at 8:00. There was NO ONE there!

Food was fresh and tasty. Like comfort food with a elegant twist. Polite staff and fast service.

Have been in to the lounge area a few times for dinner and for a drink. Every experience has been a good one. Attentive staff and good food.

I love the Parlour Inn. The 2 room suite is great. Each room has their own private bath. Plus there is a living room area with mini fridge and sink. Great for a short stay, but can be pricey if you plan on staying longer than a couple of days.

What a surprise in Stratford. Delicious roast beef done perfectly. Great chicken and salmon dishes as well. Desserts were up to par as well. Server was delightful.

Had the charcuterie board and Prime Rib dinner. Food was good, but not quite great. Meat was ordered medium rare, but arrived closer to medium. Beer and wine selection was good. Service was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed by a large table seated in the same area. Could have just been a busy night.

From the moment we stepped inside we knew we were going to love it, and we did. From the staff on the front desk to the housekeeping girls 5 star all the way. We ate in the restaurant (out on the patio) and had all different dishes, it was quick and delicious. My only negative would be the air conditioning unit very noisy and blew up and out the curtain rather that into the room. I would and have recommended The Parlour Inn since our visit.

Sub par food. Pricey for lack of quality. Host was nice and pleasant. Our waitress was a snob… maybe having a bad day. The atmosphere was decent. The experience reminded me of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Everything really dated from menu to decor.

Food was very nice. Atmosphere was calm, quiet, intimate, and pleasant. Service was prompt but inexpert; lacked knowledge about ingredients, flavours, and provenance of both the wine and food menus. Servers did attempt to learn answers to the questions and answer later.

Will not return. Upon entering I was disappointed with how long it took to be greeted. As we were seated and attempted to place drink orders, we were told about broken equipment. After a long wait for simple drinks they were less than remarkable. Our meals arrived and matched the disappointment we were feeling. The Buttermilk Chicken was dry, with flavorless skin and paired with Lima Beans for some unknown reason. My dates Steak Frites was beyond flavorless. Since we couldn't finish the meal and were hungry we ordered a cheese plate. The plate arrived incomplete (which a server later brought us) with cheese so hard you could not cut through it with anything short of a steak knife. While in Stratford there are much better options for fine dining.

The inn Is located downtown. It was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We were upgraded at no charge due to an issue with the room we had booked. Staff was great. Would go back again.

Great staff, beautiful room, great food, though a bit pricey. Location is perfect, would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Stratford.

Dinner at the Parlour was great. The food was excellent. Try the wonton nachos. I had the pork tenderloin which was cooked expertly and plated with some nice sides. The burger and their fish and chips are always great options. Service was a little slow, but I think they were understaffed for the amount of tables in that evening. Still a great meal.

Sharon was an amazing server at the restaurant. The food was good and there was plenty of it. The restaurant has lots of character and charm.

The food was amazing. The burger was one of the best I've had. The selection of beer on tap was quite good and there were a few that I hadn't tried before. The wait staff was attentive without hovering. The restaurant is beautiful old wood, its absolutely stunning.

Great lunch! Nice to be able to sit down and have long conversations with no loud music! Waitress was respectful of our time there and we weren’t rushed to get out.

It was a nice night out in Stratford in the Winter. The Thai coconut stir fry with shrimp and peanuts was very tastey. The fish and chips were good as well. The atmosphere was old parlorish. The service was quick and friendly. I enhoyed the atmosphere.

Lovely atmosphere and great friendly service. The food was delish and there weren't TV screens everywhere so we could carry on our dinner conversations without that distraction.

A charming hotel in a convenient location. A five minute walk to Ontario Street and local shops and restaurants. The staff are professional, helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was larger than a typical hotel room — with more space to spread out — which is nice with a family of four. We only ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant, which was very good — but the dinner menu looked very good too. Definitely recommended.

We love the Parlour! We stay there every summer for 3 or 4 nights. Great location, food, patio, lounge, some bathrooms too small for our liking. We don’t stay anywhere else!

We were in a side room for a books and beer night. The service was excellent, and their drinks were wonderful. I had a black velvet and one of their own mixed drinks. Very delicious.

The service was very friendly and courteous. Amazing deal for the package we got, and an amazing dinner and breakfast to boot! Would definitely return!

7:30 pm reservation on a Monday night. Quiet and great ambiance. Greeted with someone who gave us water while we waited for our other guests. Waitress finally came back to take drink orders about 15 minutes after guests arrived. And we ordered a bottle of wine which took another ten to fifteen minutes to arrive. Water needed refill but we had to do that ourselves. Finally she came back to get our food order. This only took 15 minutes to come out. It's a good thing she got our order correct because she didn't come back to check and see if everything was okay. Also had to top up our own wine. Empty played sat on the table for upwards of twenty minutes. She took a couple away and left some for another ten minutes. Then she took our coffee order. Coffee was hot and great. Must have been because she picked, roasted and hand grinded the beans herself. After coffee, we waited and waited for the bill. Finally got out at 10pm. The service definitely soiled my experience : ( Edit: it's bad enough that I normally would have said something but I was meeting the boyfriend's parents for the first time and it wouldn't have been polite to make a fuss. Luckily for April, I didn't pay or leave the tip.

The staff and amenities at parlour inn were on par with most traditional hotels — friendly, clean, and accommodating. They had a nice added touch when a staff member bought a rose to our room. They main reason for the 4 out of 5 stars was the price. I'd say it's about $100 overpriced for what they offer. We booked late, which might be the reason it was as expensive as it was, but I doubt the price would have been significantly less unless it was in the off season.

This was our second visit to the Parlor Inn. My wife and I were were surprised by an upgrade by the hotel from a regular room to a suite. This was a a gift from the hotel for our anniversary. The room was amazing as was the service, when we came back after the theater we found a long stem rose on our bed. What a wonderful touch. I would also take advantage of the breakfast vouchers they cost $13.00 but you end up saving in the long run in the dinning room on your bill. Another smart idea on the Inns part. Also the staff will take care of your every need in a warm professional fantastic manner. You will also have a driver to to take to and from the any theater. No worries Just sit back back and relax. Anyway that's it don't hesitate book a room and enjoy being treated with great hospitality like it should be done,

We had dinner in the bar area on a somewhat busy Sunday night. I had Caesar to start, beautifully cooked steak with killer garlic mash and delicious dessert (all part of a 3 course option). Everything was great. Service was timely and there was no wait for the food or clearing of the table. It was a great experience. We were served by Liv and she was great too!

Very good service. Nice place. The won ton nachos are delicious! Sharing them between two people would definitely have been a sufficient meal. We also shared the fish and chips, which was pretty good. Would definitely go back for the nachos again!

Went for lunch with my dad on a day we really needed a break. We got great service from Kennedy, our server. The upper patio was nice and shaded. The food was good and I'd eat there again. I went in from the hotel side to check in for seating and it wasn't clear whether you could check in at the hotel front desk or not so I wandered to find the main hotel — could have been better marked at that outside door.

We had a lovely one night stay at the Parlour Inn. The room was perfect for a quick visit to Stratford. The room was cooled and arranged nicely. Linens were. Top quality. Turn down service was a treat. Staff were friendly and professional. The shuttle to the theater was wonderful, especially on a warm evening. We were pleased by it's location, identified parking, and amenities. We have already encouraged friends to stay​ the if they are going to see a play this year. We did not take advantage of the restaurant, but it was quite busy and offered both sunny and shaded areas.

A menu with something for just about anyone, but not overly complex, making for easy choices, while still providing some things for the everyday gourmet.

Some of the best wings around! Great bar and beer selection. Very comfortable. Everything from pub grub to prime rib. Staff treat you like family, or even better!

Went for a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner with a large group. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive.

Went on Valentine's Day with family. They had a special menu for the day, but also offered their prime rib. The meat was great, but the Yorkshire pudding was a bit on the cold side. Otherwise a great meal!

We recently stayed as a group of six at the Parlour hotel. The staff were accommodating to the issues with the hotel but that doesn't negate the fact that the issues are there. My room stank like sulfur — a side effect of "the pipes not being used in that room, and old plumbing. " The staff tried to fix it by running hot water, which worked for about 5 minutes to decrease, not rid the stench from the room. But then the odour was back with full force, if not worse They moved me to a hotel apartment about a 1 minute walk away — — which also had an unpleasant smell of rain damage and mould. Also the shower head and other plumbing in one bathroom was caked with soap scum. But it was more tolerable than the sulfur tomb. During the night, the sulfur stench started in the adjacent room as well. While they tried to come up with fixes for the problems we approached them about, it wasn’t a solution. With the rates charged — $300+ a night — modern plumbing is an expectation.

My wife and I have eaten at the Parlour at least 1x per month for the past 3+ years. That ends today. Since the Best Western took over, it's not the same restaurant. The once great food has gotten cheap. The Caesar Salad that I once touted as the best in town is now mediocre at best. I now feel silly for ever recommending it. This used to be a higher end restaurant in Stratford, with food quality to match. The quality now is on par with many cheap restaurants. The exception is that the premium prices haven't changed. Great for Best Western, who expect tourists to pay premium prices for tourist destinations. Terrible for people who expect to pay premium prices for premium food, You will not find that here. I may sound a little bitter here… but take it from a local… this used to be a great place to eat, but it isn't any longer. There are better places to eat in Stratford. Read the reviews. Don't trust 1 an 5 star reviews.

First, lets give management here a round of applause for hiring some the most gorgeous people in Stratford, Bon-Bon, Monty, Big Mike, Jillian, Dougy, and Lindsay (sorry for the other beautiful people I missed). I walked in and thought I was front row at a Catwalk! Probably the best hotel and staff I've ever encountered. The cooks are something off the charts as well, they turned a hamburger into a sandwich that made me want to smack my mom it was so good. The Locals are even great people and over my experience in Stratford for a week was a A+.
