We visited while celebrating my husbands birthday. The hotel is beautiful. The room was stunning and absolutely incredible bathroom area. I say area because it is quite a large part of the room. What I loved the most was the attention to every detail. The accommodating staff, the note and special dessert in the room upon arrival. The champagne delivery, the hot coffee sent up in the morning. Breakfast in our room with fresh squeezed orange juice. From the time we arrived to the moment we left was absolute luxury that will definitely have us coming back to enjoy as much as we can!

This place is amazing 🤩 they booked us massages they had to cancel our dinner but instead made reservations at Mercer Hall and paid for our cab! The romance package was amazing! The service here is amazing and the cookies are to die for!

My wife was let go from the Bruce for not wanting to get her 2 final doses of the vaccine because she was afraid for her health. No testing options were offered. Very disappointed in today's society and the Bruce hotel. Shame on you.

Just returned from a weekend at The Bruce; I CANNOT recommend this hotel enough. The service is second-to-none. Seriously. This is the fourth year in a row my girlfriends and I stayed here for our annual weekend away. We agree on one thing … we have never stayed in a better hotel anywhere. From the front reception staff greeting you, to the treats in our room upon arrival, the stunning decor, the on-demand Cookie Hotline, the impeccable food, the accommodating restaurant staff who make you feel like a VIP, to the wonderful housekeeping staff. It’s all amazing, but the people are what makes this place incredible. Thanks to Rishi, Annie, Carly, and Jack (and everyone else who took care of us! ). You guys are truly incredible. We will be back next year!

This has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in anywhere in the World. Beautiful suites, amazing service and fabulous gourmet dining. Definitely recommend.

Top not service, super clean and friendly. Fresh cookies delivered to your room all you need to do is call the cookie hotline! beautiful spacious rooms and so much attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Amazing hotel, resort experience!

All aspects of the Bruce are amazing. The guest rooms, the restaurant, the spa! All the extra touches too. Had a wonderful stay full of phenomenal food. Cannot rave enough about this place. A hidden paradise within Stratford. The best vacation I’ve had in a very long time! Will be back.

Yesterday was my first experience eating out after a long isolation…
Carefully my husband and I chose the Bruce restaurant, patio.
We were not disappointed at all, on the contrary, everything was very well organized and beautiful!
Good food, great service and a really nice atmosphere.
You feel as if nothing out of ordinary was happening in the real world. Congratulations to The Bruce team!

Exceptional meals of salmon and elk and service as well. Paired with wines by the sommelier a wonderful birthday for my wife! Flawless!

Arrived at 9:45 PM on a Friday night and was not made to feel welcome here at all. Was pushed into sitting outside or the lounge. Couldn’t order a cheese platter in the dining area. Different menus for different dining areas that are within metres away, no exceptions to this rule. We clearly inconvenienced the staff who was in a hurry to go home. I will never return to such an establishment that charges extreme prices without offering an extreme experience. Went to the Hub down the street instead and had a great time with exceptional service with great food. Disappointed with The Bruce Hotel on every level.

Ordered the kale caesar salad, steak and frites and the butter tart cheesecake tonight — it was amazing.

Luxury at its finest. From the moment the great double doors open and a porter takes your luggage to the final good bye and your car is brought round, quiet elegance abounds. Thirsty, soft. & humongous bath towels, wonderful bath salts, smooth bed linens, Nespresso coffee corner, Eksa spring water, better than at the spa robes, the list goes on and on as to why I keep coming back. Chef Aaron and his team, sommeliers, everyone is genuinely interested in your happiness and well being.

The Bruce is a wonderful hotel nested off the Main Street within Stratford. Adjoining the festival theater, this place caters to those seeking impeccable excellence. The hotel staff have your absolute best interests in mind. The dining staff got their playbook from a Formula 1 inspired team! Everyone knew every detail of the menu and made recommendations based on preferences and your size of your appetite. (Thank you Johnathan, Johnny and Julie). Combined with the stunning Shakespearean Company (The Tempest, An Ideal Husband) this weekend is the beginning of a yearly tradition we intend to continue! Please enjoy the pictures …

An elegant, delicious prix fixe 3 course delight, with extras. The wine pairings were perfect. Wonderfully attentive, friendly service, open and airy. Plus, every ingredient in every dish is indigenous to Canada. Worth every penny.

A true five star hotel. Huge rooms with everything you could think of, great dining for dinner and breakfast, and really thoughtful turn-down service. Had an amazing weekend getaway!

Really nice establishment — comfortable, clean and spacious rooms and courteous staff. Lamb at the lounge was fall off the bone good and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions with slight modifications. Pool/jet tub area has a great ambiance, especially when relaxing by yourself. Breakfast the following morning was very tasty, my favourite part being the potatoes.

Once again my wife and I had a wonderful dining experience at The Bruce. Those of us who live in Stratford are fortunate to have a variety of good choices for eating out. Try them all. But, there is a difference between going out to eat and "dining out". When you want to "dine out", give The Bruce a try. Excellent food, service, bar and ambience that won't break the bank. I don't know how they do it.

We attended a special dinner at the Bruce. Staff was outstanding… polite, efficient and professional. Our food was delightful in taste and presentation. Absolutely no concerns. We were most pleased with the evening. Certainly will return for another tasty dinner! Lynda.

Went there for lunch March 24. Table we sat at was very wobbly lol. Was going to use my napkin to hold it still. Waited a little long for our food. We were the only ones there. Was told by staff that everything is freshly made. Too bad when food arrived it was not overly warm. Asked about beer on tap but staff not very informed about what's there. Been there 4 times. 3 menu changes. Will not be a 5 time. Too bad. New look is nice but I'm done with this place.

A true gem! The obsessive (in a good way) attention to detail is apparent from the moment you walk through the doors. There is always a crackling wood-burning fire to greet you in the lobby — we go during wintertime. Sitting by the fire, you feel as though you have been transported to another time and place; marvelling at the massive explorer's map that takes up an entire wall, the whimsical decor, and sinking into the plush furniture, you can't help but just relax. The Bruce is an impeccably well-curated experience in food, dining, and hospitality. The thoughtful service is beyond any expectation. If you have never been, treat yourself, you won't regret it.

The hotel is beautiful. We went for our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a suite. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

Went for "high tea with Santa" — it was really fun, and interesting. They have a "tea expert" who walked us through all the choices and explained a bunch of cool tea facts — it was interesting, but went on a bit long. Santa came to our table, but when he saw there were 5 adults, he moved on pretty quickly, to tables with kids g which is how it should be. Food was excellent, and there was a lot of it!

Mom and I stopped in for brunch yesterday. The experience was better than perfect — we were warmly welcomed by the young man at the front desk who guided us to the dining room — the hostess was so friendly — service was attentive, and professional — special requests were no problem — the food was delicious — as we left the young man at the front desk proudly talked about the hotel and then opened the door for us as we headed to the parking lot. We can't wait to return with family and friends. Well Done!

Great food and amazing service! Always love being at The Bruce due to the ambiance, especially when it is snowing! Beautiful windows and we'll placed trees to enjoy the snow from inside! (Side note — best hollandaise sauce ever! )

The Bruce is a fantastic getaway. The Restaurant in particular stands out as one of the premier fine dining establishments in Ontario.

Quite honestly the nicest place we have stayed at in Ontario! It was the little things that really made the difference! Like a salt soak in the gorgeous bath, turn-down service, refer to you by name, breakfast cake upon check-out… they are small touches that really impress! The rooms are dead-quiet and well appointed, the restaurant food & service were beyond our expectations and the pool & spa area were relaxing and lovely. Well done!

Fabulous surroundings for great gastronomic offerings. Great service and great cuisine in both eating places. The bar is serviced with an excellent bartender who has great creativity in making new drinks. Very generous in his creative offerings.

Honeymooning here is the best choice we've made! Everything about this place makes you feel awake and as though the promises of comfort are honored for real here. Simplicity and sophistication for the right price.

I was wondering around town and got hungry and decided to stop. It was great.

I can honestly say that was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Beautiful surroundings, attentive staff and special thanks to Jonathan who shared his knowledge of the menu. A truly wonderful experience. The beet salad was exquisite and the Iron Age pork was delicious. We even managed to share the honey semifreddo which was very cleverly designed. Planning my next visit already!

Had dinner here twice before theatre and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Cheese plate was excellent with house made honey.

Truly a 5 star in Stratford. Long over due. On point chef. Excellent service. We are used to travelling with 5 star hotels and are delighted, after all these years, to finally have one in Stratford. Well done. We'll return again and again!

The location was beautiful, with excellent service and fantastic food. Be sure to dress up!

The food was high quality off of the lounge menu. We ordered the mushroom pasta and the seared fish. Ingredients were fresh and local. The Caesar salad was, however, rather bland.

Excellent hotel. Spacious and luxurious rooms, very friendly staff. And complimentary espresso. Only downside is that room service ends at 10 pm.

Wonderful service. Beautiful grounds. Scrumptious cuisine. They were very accommodating to dietary needs. I wish we had stayed overnight. Our next trip to Stratford will definitely include staying at the Bruce.

From the moment you enter the front door to the moment you leave you appreciate the fact that you're at another level of service at The Bruce. The dining experience is beyond reproach and the staff are exceptional at their service level. The only critic is that with the dim lighting it is difficult at times to see exactly what you are enjoying.

Attended a wedding and had a wonderful time. Very nice venue and hotel in a quaint little area.

Friendly staff, exceptional rooms, very clean. We also enjoyed the pool and spa facilities and the top-notch gym. Coffee that was outside our door in the morning was very good. And baked cookies in the nearby nook was a nice touch. Two minor complaints — the online page in which I ordered the room needs a more simplified and clear option. I. E. I paid $255, but for $275 I'd add the breakfast for two. Simple. The other thing was the TV was pre-programmed for a dozen channels, but 'hidden' were 100 channels we could also access. I didn't realize that until an hour had passed and I missed the game. Probably a prior customer who messed with the remote.

Went for lunch this past Saturday before going to the Festival theatre. This restaurant is amazing! The rolls were homemade, the butter was made in-house and the honey was from their own apiary. We had the brisket burgers with chunky fries as our main course and everything was delicious. The service was perfect and the hotel itself is absolutely stunning. We cannot wait to visit again!

We had our wedding here and it was amazing! The staff is gracious, the food is extraordinary and the setting is stunning. Would highly recommend hosting any event here!
