I had a great night stay at the beautiful My bed was so comfy (Turkish room) that I didn't want to get up! I had to leave early in the morning so Janet had coffee ready and made us delicious breakfast sandwiches and a banana! I would definitely go back. Thank you Janet!

What a beautiful hidden gem! My fiancé and I stayed here for an early Valentines Day getaway and we absolutely loved it! We stayed in the Grandview Room, which features one of the most gorgeous bathrooms we’ve ever seen! The bathroom itself is worth the stay lol. Breakfast was perfect, prepared at our requested time, and the owner is so pleasant and a delight to chat with. We will ABSOLUTELY be back soon!

You really feel like you are staying with a stranger. No sitting area… stay in room. No working tv… inconsistent information.

The best place to stay in Guelph. Great accomodations, friendly and personable staff. Janet is the best. She remembers everything from all of my visits. She makes you feel relaxed and at home. I highly recommend staying here. Enjoy your stay.

So glad that we stayed at the Norfolk Guest House B&B. The staff was friendly; the Turkish Suite was beautiful; clean, comfortable and affordable; breakfast was delicious! It was delightful chatting with the other guests over breakfast … some from near and some from afar! We highly recommend this B&B over any hotel in the area!

This place is beautifully historic, and quiet. A great way to experience historic Guelph while being close to everything downtown Guelph has to offer.

This bed and breakfast is second to none. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful! The beds are absolutely THE most comfortable and the hospitality is without a doubt unlike anywhere else. Janet cares for each of her guests as tho they are family!

Recently stay at Norfolk with a wedding party, we stayed the night before and got ready for wedding onsite. (was perfect for wedding so many bathrooms) Each and every room was so beautiful, clean and felt at home. I highly recommend Norfolk Guest House.

Norfolk Guest House Bed and Breakfast was this adorable, well kept, heritage home that felt like just that… A home. My experience consisted of only fond memories and a very considerable and comfortable stay. The room was very clean and tidy and felt almost tailored to our very needs and expectations. The location is almost perfect as it's an estimated 10-15 min walk to downtown which is also the reasoning behind the peace and quiet at night. Highly recommended.

This is an incredible GEM in Guelph. We booked the whole place for a girls retreat. The owner Janet was very accommodating and offered to cater us a fabulous dinner on the saturday night. We felt so nurtured and cared for. The rooms are incredible. Each one with it's own charm and elegance. The whole place is relaxing and warm and beautifully cared for. Thank you Janet for your incredible hospitality.

We unfortunately only were able to have one night away after our wedding. So thankful to have chosen Norfolk Guesthouse! We stayed in the Grandview Suite and it was beautiful! Breakfast the next morning was delicious. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been more time there thank you!

Stayed here for one night: The most beautiful and relaxing stay. Beautiful, clean rooms, extremely hospitable hosts (They offered to change us to a different room to have more space for our in-room breakfast the next morning! ) We never heard a peep from other guests. Plus the beds are heavenly soft; like feathers. 10 minute walk to restaurants, pubs, cafes. A definite hot-spot… recommended, a 10/10 stay. PS: We stayed in Bombay Room, and with the separate bathroom… WORTH IT. The bathroom is gorgeous.

Stayed in the Queen room. Wifi was shotty when laying in bed, bathroom jacuzzi timer was broken, bath tub cold tap was broken, all taps in washroom were mounted backwards, bed was really saggy on one side. Need 2 hands to open front door to get in-out because there are 2 locks that need to be turned at the same time. Breakfast was OK, but tea was never there, only juice, coffee or water.

We had a lovely stay at Norfolk. The room was beautiful, had everything we needed. Our host was welcoming and easy to get a hold of, while also respecting our privacy. And breakfast was delicious. The location is central to downtown, close to a lot of restaurants and shops. We would come back again.

There is not enough I can say about this wonderful Bed & Breakfast. The owner is friendly and helpful and very respectful of your privacy. She goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort of her guests, and she has obviously worked very hard to make her property beautiful, clean and well maintained. My wife and I were celebrating our Anniversary which fell mid-week so we only had a chance to stay one night but are already looking into a good time for future booking. We were a little concerned about staying at a B&B as we both really like our privacy but did not have a concern at all and were very pleasantly surprised. Anyone considering staying here do not hesitate as you will be very happy with your decision.

Wow! what an insanely beautiful and relaxing place to stay, I always come to this place when visiting family in guelph, such nice and knowledgeable staff to help make my stay amazing time after time. The decor was gorgeous, and just minutes from downtown where I was able to visit there farmers market and shops, aswell as a big jacuzzi tub to soak in after a long day. Was nice to wake up to a healthy and tasty breakfast and have coffee in there guest patio with a beautiful garden to help get some work done, was soooo peaceful. As a person who travels alot I have yet to come across anything else quite like this, I highly recommend this place!

~ Lost Reservation. On our Wedding Day ~ My husband had booked a room for us a month in advance with a $100 deposit for our wedding day as a surprise to me. I found out on the evening of being married, that when he went to drop off our bags that morning, they had lost our reservation. When they finally found it (computer glitch they told him), they said they were full. He suggested that couples who had made a reservation only a week ago (and were not due to arrive to the B&B for a few hours) should be bumped and we should get a room because we reserved a full month ago and it was our wedding day. They proverbially shrugged their shoulders.

My friend referred my boyfriend and I to the Norfolk Guest House, as we were looking for somewhere relaxing to stay in the area. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and shown to our room. We stayed in the Queen Suite which was beautiful, and we were able to enjoy a nice soak in the jacuzzi tub. We were also excited to see that the bed looked extremely comfortable, and it proved us right. We had a great nights' sleep, and we woke up feeling refreshed and relaxed. In the morning we sat and chatted with the owner over a cup of coffee, she was busy prepping for breakfast however very friendly. Soon after, breakfast was ready and my boyfriend and I sat with a few other guests and ate. It was all freshly made and delicious. Spending the night at this B&B felt very relaxing. Without a doubt this is a great place to stay and it was a very refreshing change from staying at a hotel. We left feeling extremely pleased with the overall experience and we are planning on coming back again.

My wife and I stayed at the Norfolk B&B for 2 nights in the Queen room, we were so very disappointed. Owners were never around the entire time, there were 2 students "sharing" the breakfast duties. First morning we got served bagels, muffins, butter, jam, peanut butter (all of which were sitting on the side board and table the night before) and a platter of fruit, this was all self serve and toast your own. The girl offered and made us scrambled eggs (plain and tasteless) along with 3 little sausages each. The next morning we got to the breakfast table and not a soul was around. We proceeded to look in the fridge and pulled out the very same bagels and fruit platter from the previous day (s) and made our own coffee. About 5 minutes later the girl stumbled in and apologized for being late and made us some more sausage and eggs. This is a high end B&B and we were so let down with the lack of hospitallity and home made breakfast that one expects.
