Beautiful location… clean and updated rooms… lovely owners…

This place is very clean and the owners are very friendly. We have been to this motel for our fishing trips in Stoco Lake for 16 years. It is so convenient and we just love it, Try it!

When we booked we notified staff that we where going to be arriving very late at night. The staff where excellent and even though the office was closed someone was there to check us in! I have a service dog and they do allow pets in one of the rooms. The previous occupants of the room had dogs that weren’t potty trained and peed on the carpet between the beds. When I told staff they where very apologetic and offered solutions to fix the problem. Very satisfied with their customer service! Only wished they had a fully fenced in area for pets :)

Clean old motel, great owners… don't expect much when you go there but it's a great place to sleep. Park and lake cross the street, great place for children to unwind.

Large room. The one we had was like an apartment which was perfect. The view you wake up to is also amazing. Bathrooms are very clean, kitchen was clean and ready for use. It's veey nice. I definitely would recommend and stay again.

Great location, however the owner is a haggler! I wouldn't stay here again.

This motel is cute and clean! Great effort has gone into renovating it and quite frankly it is cleaner than some of the big brands! It is quiet and has a spectacular lake view. It is dog friendly and there is lots of space for a dog to run. There is a lovely playground for kids and a boat launch. You can walk into Tweed for necessities (there is a microwave and fridge in the room) or to sight-see. The bed was comfortable and there is a small table for two to dine or to work at. There is a gas station with a Mac's Convenience and Subway Restaurant across the street. We prefer this over a hotel in Belleville!

Always book this motel when in Tweed to do some off road adventures… Very clean and great couple running the place!

I would recommend this place. It's very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Great view from sitting at the table by the window overlooking the town park which includes a great play area for kids and then the lake. Their website I don't think mentioned there is also a coffee machine and hair dryer. For eating Subway across the road and about a 4 minute walk to grocery store /Beer store and also a little further for restaurants and a fabulous Coffee shop I would recommend also.

A beautiful spot with rooms facing the water and a small park along the shore. There are bbq facilities here too.

Had a great weekend here. Rooms were clean. All amenities are within walking distance. Definitely stay here again.

Stayed here during our bike ride from Peterborough. Staff was nice and the rooms were clean as expected. Was also situated right in front of the lake which was nice.

Convenient to the Tweed Elvis festival. Wi-Fi worked well. Beautiful waterfront setting. Rooms are tired but adequate. Proprietor was very friendly. I'd stay again.

Great location, overlooking the lake and a park. Walking distance to Tweed where you can find all amenities. Stayed two nights very clean and comfortable rooms. Neil and his family do a fantastic job making you feel at home with that small town friendly service. I'll definetly be back.

We have been coming to this motel for the last three years and have never had any issues with other guests or the owners. Everyone has always been extremely accommodating. Do not let one irresponsible review cloud your judgement! Will definitely be back.

Very clean, newly renovated rooms. This was my 3rd stop at this motel over the last couple years and I've been happy every time. Owner did very nice and friendly.

Good value for price paid.

We rented for 2 nights left our stuff there at 1 PM went out for a few hours came back to shower and go back out. There was no hot water the owner said he is very busy and we have to wait a few hours for hot water to shower so we cancelled but he kept 40 bucks because we had our stuff there for 3 hours. The man is a thief do yourself a favor and get a real hotel in Bellville.

Room was good overall. Only complaint was that the heater was pretty loud.

A lovely hotel with terrific hosts. Lovely view of Stoco Lake. Everything you need for a short stay. They have bigger rooms which would be better for longer stays. I had a nice, relaxing, and restful stay. I will stay again next time I am in the area and would recommend it.
