Myself and 3 business colleagues had 2 rooms booked at this hotel from Thursday night until Monday morning. I arrived in Mississauga on my flight at 10:30 pm from Mexico City Wednesday night and my colleagues from Los Angeles at 5:30 am. I decided to go to the hotel and wait it out until my colleagues arrived from their flight. At 5 am the manager of the hotel decided to kick me out even though we had a booking for 4 nights, 2 rooms, saying I was trespassing. Even when I tried to explain I was just waiting for my party, since the reservation was in my colleagues name, he didn't care and threatened to call the police. Needless to say we cancelled the reservation and went elsewhere. Terrible service and horrible traveller comprehension for a mediocre hotel, I totally do not recommend this hotel to anyone, Mississauga and Toronto have far better places with far better customer service. Respectfully responding to hotel response: "Although I appreciate you try to answer and repair problems people commented on, which by the way most places do not, so good for you, I will not call, nor am I interested in repairing the business relationship. I had never stayed in your hotel, and I travel to Toronto every couple weeks, and finally my business associate booked the rooms and I thought I would try it out. The end result was very disappointing. The old saying, "it takes years to get customers, but only 30 seconds to lose them" actually applies here.

I will definitely not be staying in this hotel again. I called in before hand to verify their standard rooms had 2 double beds and was nonsmoking. The woman who I was speaking to confirmed this information, and I booked a standard room with two double beds. When we checked in and went up to our room there was only one bed and there was a cigarette smell in the room. I called front desk and they told me there was nothing they could do about it, since all the rooms with double beds were booked. This made me livid. I call in advance just to make sure that the information about my booking will be correct, and I have to pay for a room that I didn't book. The hotel was under renovation when I stayed and there was only one elevator working at the time. The garage is a nightmare… the entrances and exits to go to the upper/lower levels are so narrow, and I came in a Toyota sienna, when we were leaving, the side of the door was scraped because of the narrow turning and lack of space. The garage is definitely not accommodating to larger vehicles, and that is the only place to park. Overall I would not stay here again.

Such a lovely hotel. Very clean. The entire staff was really nice and helpful. Hotel is in a nice location. 5-8 minute walk to the mall. I really like this hotel, I could stay here again soon. There’s a restaurant too, I didn’t like the breakfast buffet but the rest of the food there was really yummy.

I found this hotel through Google maps and had a mixed experience. I called to book late at night and was told by the front desk that they were busy and that I would get a call back to finalize the booking within 20 minutes. I called them back 40 minutes later as they had not reached out and booked my stay in what was supposed to be an executive suite. The booking agent was helpful and courteous but misquoted the price — I was charged $100 more than I was quoted for the room. Also, the hotel didn't send me a booking confirmation, they only provided a confirmation number so I was not comfortable discussing the overage as I had no confirmation in writing but a friend who was with me at the time or booking confirmed my suspicion of being significantly overcharges. Upon arrival, I was offered a choice between complimentary breakfast at their restaurant or complimentary parking as an executive guest. I chose complimentary parking as the restaurant was only open until 11 a. M. For breakfast and I planned on sleeping in. The room was clean however the fridge (agent advised there was a fridge, did not advise that it was ONLY suitable for drinks…) smelled like it had been used to store fish and it made the whole room stink. After speaking to the front desk a second time, we were moved to a new room at 4:30 a. M. For what it's worth, both rooms were very quiet with no noise leaking in from the adjacent rooms.

Great location close to everything in the heart of the city. Very clean and staff is great. Nice and helpful. Great for events and gatherings. Rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is good. Good food and frink selection but a little pricey but they offer a variety of multicultural food.

Very nice hotel suited on the great location in the heart of Mussusssuga, lovely part of Great Toronto Area. Square one Shopping Mall is walk-in distance as well Enterprise car rental and convenience store. Bed was comfy and bathroom was beautiful. I loved my stay and l highly recommend.

I went through the front door, and it was pretty spacious and comfortable. I went up the stairs right in front. There was a big room, and they had adequate seating and a properly working projector. So it was good.

We stayed there for 2 nights during our visit to Toronto. We had good experience, great place to stay. Lots of nice restaurants around. I would definitely recommend this place to choose when around that area.

Worst experience we have ever had in a hotel. We got placed in a room that wasn't cleaned. There was some kind of fluid on the nightstand, the sheets smelled like sweat, once we pulled the blanket out of the bed, there were hairs, the bathroom was filthy and smelly. We called the guest service and they moved us to another room that was a bit better but still filthy. The carpet hadn't been cleaned for at least 6 months, there were wires hanging, the fridge… I can't even tell how disgusting it was. We got in the hotel around 1am and now it's 2am and we're discussed after 2 bedrooms that were filthy. Because we (my wife, a 5 years old and myself) had to catch a flight in the afternoon I hoped to sleep in (since we went to bed after 2am) and at 8AM, we wake up thinking the hotel is collapsing. They were renovating a room right beside ours. I send them an email about the whole experience and NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. I never thought I would have such a bad experience in a 3 star hotel, specially, when it belongs to a well known group like this one. This was our experience with this place, I know everybody has different experiences. Any business has good days and bad days, that's understandable, but I have tried to contact them to give a feedback and never heard back. To me, that says a lot. So, just be aware and manage your expectations on this place.

Excellent and Great Customer Service staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Very quiet and peaceful. Great place to stay. Would definitely recommend this place to stay while in Mississauga.

Staff friendly but for a few months the rooms are not very clean. That's a little disappointing.

Air conditioning serves as heating and is very noisy. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean.

I got snowed in while passing through Pearson, the Novotel was conveniently close enough to the airport. Considering the number of impromptu guests they had passed through that night, I was checked in very quickly. The staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. The room was clean and spacious.

2.5 — although the check in staff were very nice. The hotel itself needs some serious upgrades (which to my understanding, is happening given the signage posted in the hallways). The room we stayed in had the bathroom renovated but everything else is dated (the 90s are calling, they want their furnishings back). The bed was less than comfortable and the “fitted sheet” was a top sheet placed over the mattress. The heater was very loud and every once in a while made a strange squeaking sound that sounded like jigsaw was going to roll into a room on his tricycle (I sound like I’m making this up but I promise I’m not lol). While the accommodations were close to where we were needed to be… I’ve stayed in better hotels.

The location is very convenient, if not awe-inspiring (Mississauga City Centre). Getting downtown or to the airport is straightforward. The front desk staff are not always on point, but the staff who turn over the rooms are excellent in terms of maintaining cleanliness and comfort and also in terms of security. The restaurant downstairs is great, too. I do wish they changed the shower doors — there's a pool of water waiting for you on the bathroom floor after every single shower, no matter how careful you are.

Great location. Central Mississauga and not her hotels anywhere close! Good prices for the accommodation and the location. Great service and I always been upgraded to a better room during slow times (offered by the staff, I never asked for)

The room was extremely dated. They're in the midst of renovating the hotel but, evidently, we got an old room. The bathroom itself was beautiful and updated but the faucet wouldn't stop leaking from the base and they haven't (yet? ) installed toilet paper or towel holders/racks. When we requested a microwave the informed us the hotel didn't have any whatsoever. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud. They charged for parking in a lot with about 8 levels that doesn't have an elevator. Nor was there any indication of that before entering. So, unless I wanted to pay to exit the lot and bring the car back to the main entry of the hotel, I had to push our stroller with 2 infants all the way up the various levels of the lot while my wife carried/rolled our various pieces of luggage. That being said, the stay was pleasant and the service from the staff was great. They gave each of our boys a complimentary, little stuffed animal keychain as well. I'd, maybe, consider staying again after it has been completely renovated.

Super clean, excellent Serbian, friendly, helpful and very rich food.

Amazing service as always, I stay here once a year when I go to my company Christmas party. This year I forgot some things in my room and didn't realize. They called me within 24 hours to let me know and find out how to return my items! 10/10 would stay again.

Came here for a conference. The meeting rooms were relatively small for the sessions but the main Paris room was a good size. The staff were great, the hotel had experienced a flood and they managed to relocate us very seamlessly. The downstairs area where a few workshops were being held had a bad odor, but staff managed to move us so we weren't there for long.

Was here for a conference and the service was good and food was great. The look of the hotel is somewhat dated but it got some good amenities like charge stations. From what I saw the gym looks really small. It only got some cardio equipment and a bar or two. It got a pool too. Near square one but across eight Lanes of traffic.

We had a really lovely quaint room that was super clean with a nice view. I had called ahead and upgraded our room to include a safe and a fridge. The staff that helped me was gracious enough to print off a sheet of recommendations for vegan restaurants close by for us. We got a call from the front desk asking us how everything was going after a few hours which was a nice touch too. The pool and hot tub were relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and delicious and our server was just the best! He was super cheerful and that made us feel nice. We will definitely be back!

I had a nice stay at the Hotel Novotel Toronto Mississauga Centre. Room was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is good, a short five minute walk from the Square One mall, and not much further from the City Centre Transit Terminal.

Lobby is clean and staff were very pleasant, however, the guest room was small and very dated. It just felt old and dirty. The room only had 1 outlet, on the other side of the room from the beds! It's 2017, people need to plug their phones in at night and have it accessible. Hard to believe that such a basic need is overlooked.

Person very attentive to customers, room a little to renovate but in the end very comfortable. They have breakfast and inside bar.

Comfortable and the staff is nice!

The staff were friendly and were very accommodating with our event. There was decent space and the food provided; as well as drinks were alright. The parking required validation and there was some trouble leaving the parking structure. The parking structure was also very narrow and was difficult for larger cars to navigate.

Staff is friendly, and it's conveniently placed right next to the square one shopping mall and minutes from the highway. There a nice multi level parking facility ($) next to the building and it's connected to the hotel. There are a few car rental offices across the street, but you'll have to travel a bit in search for interesting food. The Walmart is also walking distance. That's always handy if you're missing anything.

Lobby is nice, room was good with a large bathroom. Unfortunately there is no late check out (I think this is a must for airline guests) so I had to hang about the lobby for hours until my taxi arrived. The restaurant wouldn't accept two vouchers for lunch (what's the point of getting a dinner voucher if you need to leave before dinner is served? )

I've travelled to many countries and stayed at numerous hotels. I would say, compared to other big-brand, four or five star hotels, Novotel Mississauga has really good free internet, fast and reliable, small but good fitness area (but they have half a basketball court! How cool is that! ) and the interior design has most things you would expect to make you comfortable at a hotel. And the location is convenient for eating, shopping and car rentals. Staffs' nice too! The only complain is that it's a bit far from downtown if public transportation is used.

This hotel has been located at the heart of downtown Mississauga and was renovated nicely to keep up with the modern look of hotels. The staff are friendly and are willing to help with any requests. The rooms are nice just as expected with good decorations and calming theme. This hotel is known to be used many times for conferences and parties as the hall is elegant looking and simple to access. This hotel's greatest asset is the prime location being beside Square One Shopping Centre.

Hotel well located, cons the rooms are a bit archaic. The pool was not heated at all.

This hotel is located in the heart of Mississauga, a central location within walking distance to Square One Mall. The drive to Toronto was not long either. The Good: -Excellent location. Within walking distance to Square One Mall, Enterprise/Avis/Budget Rent a Car, and near many points of interest (Mosque, desert shops, gas station, clubs, etc) -Very helpful staff (front desk, kitchen, room service) -Clean and tidy rooms and overall hotel -4 Elevators meaning wait time for elevators is next to nothing. -Pool and Fitness Room -Great Kitchen hours from Breakfast till Dinner; with good sized televisions Areas of Improvement: -Wifi (the Wifi on my Samsung was fine; however, my brother was not able to connect for even a minute on his Apple Mac laptop and Iphone) -I never used the parking stalls, but was told it was very tight space. -Parking is not free, and is quite pricey -Continental Breakfast is nice; however, only 1 item had its name listed above the dish. It will be helpful to list names of dishes; because we couldn't tell what some items were without asking and/or trying. -The fruit (besides watermelon) did not seem fresh. Most likely canned items. -Breakfast time got busy one day and the staff was having a hard time keeping up with customers and empty dishes. However, they still managed it quite well. Overall, a good stay. I Would definitely stay here again!

Uncomfortable beds, little service very expensive at night… very displeasing as Hitel after a surgery. I had to leave rather the back pain that the bed created me… avoided everything took… old furniture as not possible, fridge not functional. If I go back to operate DS the region I will sleep in my car well before returning!

They upgraded our room for free without even asking! Room was very clean, bright with a great view. In room safe. Discounts at local restaurants. Validated parking. CONS: no lock on bathroom door. Pillows were small and flat. Not enough outlets in room. Hotel was hard to find.

We booked the Novotel because it was convenient for my son's wedding and the price was very reasonable. While it may be ranked a 3-star hotel, my family and I rank it as a 5-star because of the exceptional customer service we all received during our stay. From my very first encounter with reservations, through the many changes, Letta Reid provided an an exceptional customer experience with her patience and professionalism. Once we arrived, the Front Desk team were courteous, professional and very pleasant to deal with. Special shout-out to Ganna, Mikhail and Floriane. Also very impressed with restaurant staff — especially Sandy, who was very responsive, friendly and courteous. Rooms were large and clean and housekeeping did a great job of accommodating all of our requests As a frequent global traveler for business, I have the opportunity to stay in many hotels. But can honestly say my week at the Novotel was one of the best customer-focused experiences I have had. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay so easy. The Novotel Hotel Manager should be very proud of his whole team.

Terrible experience. Front desk would not allow me to enter the room that my best friend booked for our group as part of his birthday night. After leaving the actual room from the elevator to pick up someone at the entrance, I was not allowed access back on the 5th floor where the room was located. The person at the front desk named Michael refused to allow me access to the room. When I calmly and politely suggested to him to call the room so that my friend could pick up the phone and prove to him I belong to that party, he refused to do so on behalf that he might wake up someone (which assumes that I'm lying, that someone else is in that room that I don't have any relation too and I'm making such a complex story up for god knows why). I find that foolish assumption extremely offensive. Considering the fact that he saw me both enter the room with our crew and afterwards leaving the room two minutes before trying to go back up with another member, anyone with common sense would have made sense of the fact that I belong to that room and require access to it. In summary, front desk refused to give me access to my own room, refused to let me call the room to prove that I belong to it, when I told him I understand you have a procedure and rules to abide by but what would you need me to do to get access to this room, he had no answer but repeated refusal, when I asked to speak to the supervisor/manager, they were apparently not present at the time.

Love the location! great for tourists as they can visit a really big mall that is close by. They have really good amenities. Friendly staff! Rooms are pretty good size and give a good view of the city.

Very nice stay. Dealt with minimal staff members (checked in late and had breakfast brought to the room), but the ones I interacted with were great. Very polite. At check-in they had a little toy for my five year old and even more appreciated, when I called down in the morning about breakfast (we were running a bit late) I asked how much and how long it would take. I got a call back promptly letting me know cost and when they told me how long and I mentioned the sooner the better, I was so pleasantly surprised to see them at our door with hot breakfast WAY sooner than expected. The delivery person said that he dropped everything and came as soon as he could :). He even added some fruit on the side for us — it was all delicious. We were out the door and at our destination right on time that morning — his consideration and service was very much appreciated!

The amenities were great! The restaurant is nice as well. Breakfast buffet is $15.99 and free under 16 which is a steal! Only downside is rooms are tiny and the beds are small and very uncomfortable. Close to square one, and would recommend!

The hotel was very clean and nice. The staff were friendly and kind. The location was very convenient, in downtown Mississauga. The room was clean and organized.

We arrived at 3:30 pm and our room "wasn't ready". We went to Square One for 2 hrs and came back at 5:30 pm… Our room wasn't ready! The staff wasn't helpful, you get to choose to pay an extra 30$ for parking! My it can get free parking but give up breakfast. You have to have a room key to move the elevator so we wanted to stay in our friends room but couldn't move an elevator and had to wait. The rooms are ridiculously tiny for what you're gonna pay. There are no real access to outlets near the bed for laptops or cell phones. The bed are about as comfy as a gymnasts springboard. I'm just disgusted with this hotel. We have restaurant reservations at 7 and it's likely we won't even get our room before dinner! (We were able to check into our room by 6:10, get ready and leave for our reservation. ) Oh yeah and I forgot to mention we waited at the front desk for 45 minutes! The parking garage is so small that anyone with a big car would damage it trying to find a spot. Plus they closed off the top level so they didn't have to clear the snow. UPDATE: We just found out they can't even pay for decent cable lol. So be prepared to watch absolutely squat on TV lol.

Catering and banquet seems to have lousy attention to detail, A/V tech made for a not quite safe electrical situation. All in all facilities seem cheap and dated.

I won't go back to it again and I have been twice bathroom doors is the worse no privacy if you are two people they charged us twice my cc and my friends's card too expensive for $155 to $180a night for a motel 6 alike AC too noisy ladies at the restaurant not friendly you have to choose between free parking or free breakfast.

Worst hotel I've been too, didn't try the food cause the pricing is ridiculous (as well as the pricing and accommodations and everything else), the Internet was horrible disconnects at least 4 times an hour. Called 5 times to the 24hr internet help desk who claimed they fixed the issue but ended up giving up after call number 5. The staff was great and always very nice and helpful but considering the size of the rooms pricing and everything else sucked. Stay away. Only reason I stayed for a week is the choice in mississauga for hotels is very limited.

Dont let the lobby fool you!. I walked into my room and was hit with a wave of what I can only explain as disgusting body order mixed with some sort of cheap perfume. There were pubic hairs all over the counter by the coffee cups! YUM and the carpet was half lifting up in the middle of the floor. The bar fridge is actually classified as a cooler (which is what the front desk told me) and has sensors so when you pick up something in it, it automatically charges you. Maybe I should have just drank the piss warm rum and coke (I paid for it) then I asked to be moved and was told it would cost me because I had held the room with my cc which the charged it to already! I decided that I would cancel my next night since I couldn't get out of both in which they told me I couldn't be refunded for the next night bc they already charged my cc for the next night as well! if your not used to sleeping in a dumpster I don't recommend booking here! On a good note the lounge is very nice and the lady working behind the bar was very nice and polite :) and they had cold beer.

It's clean, and affordable (cheap, in fact) for the area it's located in. Free Wi-Fi, free computers, and a game console. However, if you're living for more than a few days in Square One, I'd recommend renting an apartment from one of the buildings nearby instead of staying in any hotel, because that'd be cheaper and give you more space.

Good experience overall. Good value overall. I usually get the Hibigeebies from most hotels and didn't from this one. Extremely comfortable bed (King). Although the room was on the small side, it was clean and well appointed and updated. Restaurant was first class with a very tasty breakfast buffet. Take this review from someone who usually finds flaws in most hotel rooms. Reading the reviews below, I wonder if we're reviewing the same hotel.

Unclean. The walls, the cups and even the plates of the room service are dirty. Won't come here again.

Stayed for two nights, wonderful experience. Clean, nice view of Mississauga downtown and at a good price. Recommended.

Stayed here 8/30/2012 — 9/4/2012 — ROOM 708 First night I arrive the wireless signal is HORRID. No matter where you go in the bldg it is just bad signal. They have 2 wireless routers and one of them does not work at all. It has great signal but connects/disconnects continuously because whoever set it up is obviously unprofessional. Also the phone does not indicate anywhere that we must press 0 first then press front desk button etc in order to contact the front desk. I had to go down stairs and ask personally how to contact them which is ridiculous. They should post that you must press 0 first somewhere on the phones to make life easier on their customers. The issues with the wireless persisted through the entire stay. Next thing I noticed was the size of the toilets. It must have been designed for children and midgets because quite frankly it is way too small and I am only 6' 200lbs nothing crazy here in size normal male. All of the things in the room are cheap and fake. The beds haven't been moved in 100 years and have 1" of dust behind them along with god knows how many scrunchies and stupid things for girls hair. Another big annoying part would have to be the bed board they have in place stuck to the wall with no access to any electrical plugs next to the bed. Why would you set this up this way, don't you think people want to plug in their mobile devices next to them as they sleep or maybe plug in a laptop while in bed? GET WITH THE TIMES!

Nice place. Awesome location. Close to everything (that Mississauga had to offer at least). Had a decent discount so it was ok value. Would be expensive otherwise. Felt comfortable. Good service. No coffee downstairs though.
