Rooms are always clean and maintained. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

The room is what you'd expect from a hundred-dollar motel — simple and clean. However, their inflexibility with a reservation mix-up on Expedia was very disappointing.

Clean rooms, although with old furniture. The mattress was a little bit too soft. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pleasant/friendly staff, room had everything we needed, free Wi-Fi, parking. Located just outside town, but suited our needs well!

Room was clean, Wi-Fi was functional and the shower was very warm. The room itself was not warm at all however when I arrived. But that was quick to heat up.

We stayed at the Lighthouse Motel last night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This family run motel is the cleanest motel I have ever stayed at. Our room which included 2 queen size beds was in good repair, and we found extras we had never considered to aid in our comfort like covers over the feet of the beds to spare our toes. The channels on the TV were limited, however the Wi-Fi was strong. The free coffee offered at the main office was delicious and made to order. Outdoors the property was well kept, with manicured lawns and beautiful gardens. BBQs and picnic tables were spread over the property which were inviting. Wish we'd had more time on this trip to relax and enjoy this location. Made sure to tell people that live near Walkerton about our experience as we definitely give this motel our 2 thumbs up.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was very clean and everything worked great — yes, they are a little dated, but no big deal & for the low rate we were very happy. Set back from the highway just enough that there was no traffic noise whatsoever. Wifi was strong and fast through the entire property. Complimentary Tassimo coffee in the AM. BBQ's and nicely shaded picnic area (with tables) in the centre of the motel could = big savings for families — bring some BBQ fare and enjoy a meal on the cheap. Alternately, the staff made excellent local dinner and breakfast recommendations. Would stay again — thanks!

My family of five stayed here for one night and will never come back. My step son awoke covered in ants crawlings ants. The fridge didn't work and the TV was un use able. The beds are horribly small and and uncomfortable.

Very clean, cute, and good coffee. Owners are very sweet. Dog friendly!

The building is in the middle of nowhere but it's a good stop if passing through walkerton and the family that owns it are really nice people.

My husband, myself and my daughters are currently staying for a night as I drove my husband to Wroxeter for work. He previously stayed there and couldn't stop talking about how great the motel is. He was right! And I had to review it while i'm currently here. Owner and her daughter are so friendly, made me feel at home from the moment I checked in and gave me freshly washed, out of the dryer towels on the spot and advised me that my room has been warmed up for us so ready to go! The moment I opened the door I smelled freshness and saw cleanliness! the room was perfect with a T. V, Microwave & Fridge. If you want a place that is a home away from home then this Motel is it! you are warmly welcomed and the owner has a heart of gold! would not surprise me if she would give me the shirt off of her back if I asked for it! Thank you for providing us with such a homey feel!

Very friendly family run business. Rooms were good size for 2 people. A little outdated but was over seen. Basic cable but was alright. Faurly fast free Wi-Fi. Would stay again if am in the area.

Really friendly family owned business and a good price. Even though the water tasted weird, the toilet didn't flush very well, and the heating is poorly handled, I would return here over other options.

Very nice and clean place just outside of town with a country feel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I stayed from mon-fri for 6 weeks and had no issues. Would stay here again, and recommend it to friends and family.

The service was great. Family run. Rooms slightly outdated but everything was kept clean. Fridge was un plugged upon arrival. Would stay again if was in area.

This place is amazing. Close to the atv trails. The owners are awesome people. Some of the nicest people. Had a great weekend sorry it's all most over.

Myself and another worker stayed here for 4 months. The Ownership/managers are very friendly and accommodating. They will go out of their way to help, assist, or oblige most if not all of your needs. Rooms are very well kept and clean. Existing amenities work very well. Nicely situated just at the edge of town. But we'll within comfortable distances of everything.

Outdated, pillows were not very comfy… service from staff was excellent and room was clean!

Pillows are ancient, bed is comfy, AC was cold and every amenities worked well … within range of most activity in this area.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Rooms fresh and cozy. We snowmobiled from room gas food nearby. Recommend this little gem for stress less stay.

We stayed in one of the apartments for a few weeks — The owner is warm and welcoming, providing a wonderful, clean environment. I can't say enough to support these fantastic people and the motel/apartments. We thank them, and look forward to coming back soon. Vicki.
