Great place to rent a boat and go fishing for the day! Would return for sure! Beautiful lake very nice staff.

Camping is nice. Simple amenities, games for kids and grownups. Check if there is a fire ban prior to planning your bbq.

Beautiful place, love the lake and the cottages are small but definitely worth it! Went there for my bachelorette and had a great time!

Enjoyed our stay here. Close trip to tobermory and the grotto. Friendly staff. Quiet park, sites are somewhat close together but not too bad.

Lovely place! Great hosts! Very family oriented! The hosts were very helpful and welcoming We enjoyed our stay there and wanted to visit back but they were fully booked unfortunately.

Staff were rude, arrogant, and unfriendly. Check out time was 10:00am, there were staff weed whacking by my cabin at 9:00am, making a horrible disturbance, I almost couldn’t believe it. Overall the campground had an unwelcoming atmosphere. I wonder sometimes how these places get positive reviews at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or family.

Miller Lake is our happy place! I can't say enough good things about it! It's the cleanest place we have ever stayed! Everything is so well taken care of and maintained. That's why they still have things from the 60's and 70's. You have to appreciate the simplicity of this place and respect that's it's a family place. It's great for our kids. It's great to see the same families who return every year. They have created a summer atmosphere that all the books are written about. The bathrooms are renovated and clean! And hot water is cheap! its worth it. The owners and staff are lovely. We hope their kids are still running it the SAME WAY when our kids take their kids here. If there are any bad reviews it's the people writing them it's not millers family camp. If we were rich we would have a cottage boooked for the whole summer every year.

Nice place to visit. Very low on amenities, but you get what you pay for. Up the street a bit is the Summerhouse, but they are extremely expensive You can get a day pass to the Summerhouse, and stay at Miller family camping. Keep in mind this is a family resort, so there are rules. It must be quiet by 11pm.

Its peaceful. Friendly. Been coming 20 years. Paradise.

Miller's Family Camp is located about 30 mins south of Tobermory and is a great place to take a vacation. From the many cottages you can rent on the lake, to the many spots for a trailer. The staff is very friendly and helpful about local tourist attractions. They also have alot it activities to do in the lake such as (you need to pay and rent them) kayak (single and double), canoes, paddle boards, paddle boats, and motorboat. They also have activities that happen throughout the week for children, such as sand building contests which are judged by them and the winners of first, second and third get a "coupon" for a free rental of any non-motor rental (first place, 2 hours, second 1 hour, and third 30 minutes). There is also a pontoon boat that takes children and parents on a nice slow tour of the lake. And also stargazing for the ones who want to learn the sky. There are other activities, but you'll have to go and find them out for yourself! Overall this place is amazing to go for a vacation and take the family!

Our family just enjoyed a week retreat in one of the cottage here. The staff are friendly, the cabin is simply but clean and cozy. My cabin does not come with a shower (only 4 bedrooms cabin has shower), but the shower facilities is only a few steps away and is clean, it only cost 25 cents for 7 minutes. I also walked around their camping area, most of the sites have flat ground with trees surrounded for privacy. The boat/kayak rental is reasonable priced. We will be back one day for sure!

I'm disappointed as I use to camp here as a child for many years. After checking out we received a call about items missing such as a pillow and pot. A lady owner insulted us and was very rude assuming I took them. I brought my own pillows so how would I know if they had 4 pillows. It rained a lot too and the sewage backed up so it was awfully smelly. It felt like we were walking in it as the ground had sinking spots. I also had to wait 30 minutes to use the "family shower" as it has more room for my stroller etc. With my 2 young kids under 4. A couple walked out? together and left a period pad for me to figure out how to dispose of. Poor customer service/rude owners and unhygienic. When we arrived our cottage was unlocked so perhaps someone came in and took a $5 old pillow and pot? We plan to vacation in Huntsville, next year.

They really are a 'Family Camp. We have been going there since our kids were 2 and 5. They love it, we love it, and it's a great spot for them to meet new friends.

Very clean, quiet campground. We brought our Scout troop here for 5 days and they were very accommodating to our group. They ensured our sights were together and the spots selected worked great. Staff were awesome, especially Larry the evening cleaning and security guy. Great location for all the activities we wanted to do, including visiting Flower Pot Island, the Grotto, Dyers Bay, and Lions Head hike.

The campsite I got was not bad, it was rather exposed to the other campsites though, because we went late June we didn't have many neighbors. There's only one area with a shower for the entire site but it is fairly close to everything and, there were two washrooms in the entire site. Relative to everything like tobermory this campsite was very close to local tourist attractions. Overall, our experience was postive :)

Washrooms aren't as clean as I would want compared to the Federal camp grounds. Not as many showers either during rush time periods. Staff are nice, and camp ground is quite quiet and clean.

My family and I have been going to the camp for years. Staff is friendly and helpful. Washrooms are cleaned daily. The beach has a beautiful view. Close enough to attractions such as the grotto but not too close that there's lots of traffic. I will continue to camp at Miller's for years to come.

Miller's Family Camp is a nice relaxing camp on miller lake. The miller's family camp experience is the embodiment of the back to nature ambience that comes with the Bruce peninsula. During the summer, the camp even has a free stargazing program every Monday.

I spent the long weekend there (on a tent) with some friends and it was very nice. Staff was very friendly and the campsites and common areas (washroom, showers, etc. ) were clean with a firepit and a table. It was very convenient because it was only at 20 min from Tobermory so we could spend some hours there and come back. They had different activities (canoeing and boats that you could rent, ping pong, etc. ), also shower is 25 cents but It was enough to take a long shower (I finished before water stopped). After 11 pm you cannot make any noise at all, and after 12 pm they don't allow you to have any fire either. They really enforce those, so it is nice that you can sleep without anyone disturbing you, but on the other hand, it was a shame that you are around the fire with the marshmallows and you have to go to sleep at 11 while you are enjoying the night and looking to the stars :) (however, if I have to choose between having a group with people partying until 4 am or this. I wouldn't hesitate it hehe). Overall it was a great camping, very flexible (they even allowed us to have a bbq at the beach after 2pm even although we did the checkout during the morning)

An amazing place to kick back and relax… either rent a cabin or if you have a trailer rent a trailer site or even a tent site beautiful place with awsome people running it.
