Highly recommended. Suite had all kitchen utensils, spacious and nicely maintained. Nice view of the waterfront and so close that you can walk anytime. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Had a wonderful stay and hoping to visiting next summer.

Been coming here since 1989 and it is a beautiful place. Perfect location and comfy beds. It's starting to get a bit outdated after 29 years but you can tell they are slowly trying to upgrade things. Staff are friendly and it's a great town to explore.

I love the location. Thornbury is a lovely town. The Royal Harbour Resort is within walking distance to the bakery, cheese shop, cafes, restaurants, ice cream venues, a bookstore, grocery store, pharmacy, bank, post office, liquor store, and so many other retail shops. I love that all the suites overlook the harbour and Georgian Bay, even the studios. There is a pebble beach just across the street that includes a park with a children's playground, washrooms, picnic tables …and benches, a pier to dive/jump from, and a safe swimming area going into the bay. A two minute walk brings us to trail entrances going east or west. We can bike or walk to Collingwood or Meaford, staying on the trail the entire way. Biking is our preference for the longer distance. The Royal Harbour Resort has a saltwater swimming pool, hot tub, workout room, sauna, and a games room. They also loan bicycles. Wifi is now available in all the suites, which are spacious, and well maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly, and willing to accommodate guest’s requests when possible. There is a lovely outdoor seating/lounging area, accessed either from individual suites or the stairways leading down from the second and third floors, where one can watch boats going in and out of the harbour. I mustn't forget the fact that great fishing is at hand, either out in the Bay or in the stream close by the resort.

Great prices. Huge rooms and a beautiful view of the water front right outside of your window. Our favorite beach get away.

Rooms are great and clean. Pool is nice a warm. Great hot tub. Great exercise roo. And nice games room. And a great view of Georgian bay.

We had a suite for only one night, but it was spacious, neat, and clean. The ladies at the front desk both overnight and in the morning were friendly and accommodating. The pool was enjoyed by my family. There are also a lot of amenities for families: movies, board games, equipment, etc. We would definitely return in the future. We enjoyed our stay.

The view's beautiful! Staff is very nice and their prices are decent. And it's only 10 mins away from the Village.

Highly recommend. Wonderful staff who accommodated our family of 4 on very short notice for a long term stay after a pipe burst in our home. They were kind, caring and efficient. The suite was clean and the pool and amenities were lovely. The staff made a very stressful home situation much more manageable with their warm welcome! Thank you to all the staff!

Studios are the roomiest on the Blue Mountains & the lake-view from the 2-bedrooms will make you feel your're on the cruise ship! The furniture is bit dated, but cozy and romantic.

Love staying here in the summer. A very lovely resort, customer service has always been great. Only problem was not the resort itself but at night, alot of teens go to the beach across the street and start making alot of noise and have seen a few fights but nothing serious. Would recommend, very family friendly.

It was one of the best resorts I've stayed at in a long time! I would definitely go back! The view of the harbour was phenomenal and the room was amazing!

My boyfriend and I are visiting from Chicago and could not be happier with our choice in staying here. Some reviews say that is it outdated — definitely not the case in our queen suite. Its so cute! Every room has a stunning view of the lake, pool and hottub are nice, TV is comparable to ours at home, and our room is HUGE. We have a full sized kitchen equipped with the essentials and a little sitting area near the full sized window for coffee overlooking the lake in the morning. (We just cooked our Valentines dinner here and did not need to bring or buy any kitchen utensils. ) We just stayed in a 4.5 star hotel downtown toronto and then came up here to finish the week skiing at Blue Mountain, I honestly wish we had decided to spend more time here instead. The woman at the front desk is helpful and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend and might be making this an annual trip.

Amazing views of the Harbour with awesome trails & walks to take to nearby parks and playgrounds! Rooms are spacious and clean and such a great open concept of kitchen, dining and TV area with fireplace! Family oriented staff always willing to please and assist. Great location only 10 min from Blue and surrounding tourist areas no matter the season. We are a family of 6 and this is always a yearly highlight for everyone!

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The staff were very friendly. Well worth it for the price although the rooms were quite old fashioned.

The house cleaners, janitorial and front desk staff are wonderful, polite and helpful. But the management staff are very unpleasant to deal with. Nice facility, comfy rooms, always very clean.

Went to use the aquatic facilities with a current employee. Front desk lady was very kind and accomodating, and the hotel was very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there and look forward to going back again!

I had a great time there. The staff are welcoming, friendly and always willing to help. The ambience is very homely. Loved it. The sunrise and sunset are extremely beautiful.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this place on line, but we LOVED it! The view is amazing, the staff is wonderful (very friendly and helpful), affordable. Close to everything. Will definitely be back!

Great views, kids loved the pool and large above ground patio (used by all suites on the level) for playing on. Tennis, billiards and bikes available for free! Games, DVDs, and even pool toys available (again for free! ) Staff was always friendly and helpful.

Fantastic views. Room we were in was huge, fit 6 people. Easy access front and back, convenient parking. Short walk to downtown and lots of amenities.

Great spot to sit and enjoy the water. Little park for kids and a cool dock to jump off. Water is always super cool.

Location is great especially great. It Is located in front of marina overlooking the Georgian bay. Beautiful view from the room. Rooms sizes are big and comfortable for big group. Has a great patio. Service is good as well.

Great location: right at the harbour. Nice facilities. The suite was very clean and spacious. There is a Foodland nearby — very convenient for last-minute groceries.

Room was not up to par, I did not stay at the hotel and was charged full price. Had to drive 2 hours back home and now the managers are not returning my calls. Very unprofessional, will not recommend.

It is our first time to stay here (RCI exchange) and my first impression was not so good. Upon entering our unit I immediately smelled cooked food. The kind of smell that sticks on the clothes. I think the unit was just vacated but I wish the cleaning staff had the unit aerated or sprayed before declaring it ok for the next users. The smell was with us all through the night and I even lighted perfumed candles just to reduce it. The bedsheets/beddings smelled too.
The oven was not clean. The glass had sticky/drippy marks.
I think the carpet really needs replacement.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful. The silverware were the good quality (not the thin cheap ones) — and yes, they matter to me. The gym was ok with enough equipment. I like that they had a lot of space and seating in the living room. I liked that they had an alarm clock in our room and there was a radio with CD player (most timeshares do not).
We enjoyed our stay but may not come back. I just feel the place needs major refurbishment.

Fantastic room for the price. Comfortable, clean, and a nice rustic feel. Pool and hot tub were well maintained and clean. Games room available with pool table, as well as a wide assortment of board games and DVDs were available from the front desk. Service was friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again.

Superb view from the room! The rooms are really awesome and hotel staff is very friendly… best part is the hot tub available in the hotel! We had amazing time… the hotel has a lot more facilities. Though it's abbot far from the actual Blue Mountain Village, we loved every bit of the hotel, from the location to the scenery!

12 years and still loving this place! Friendly staff, spacious and super clean rooms with an amazing view. Couldn't ask for anything better.

I now live in Thornbury and have a membership in the health club and use of their superb swimming pool and hot tub. Great staff. Wonderful place to stay, and if I didn't live here I'd being staying along with some out of town friends who are due next week.

Been coming here for the past 5 years and I love it! Not only the view of the bay sitting and eating dinner or grabbing a few drinks the views are great and the staff just makes this place all that much better only reason I keep coming to the same resort u build friends not just another resort.
