5 STARS! Cloverleaf Cottages is the best place to rent a small cottage for the week. Have been taking my family for the past 7 years, I also went there as a kid myself. Great cabins, great beach, great services, great owners (Shelly & Alex). Every year we go, something is new. Either newly renovated bathrooms, a new dock, a new gazebo. Nothing is old and everything looks and is clean. A lot of pride is put into Cloverleaf and you can tell from the moment you show up. Enjoy!

Great place to relax and enjoy nature. Right at the southern western entrance to Algonquin. Family oriented with a lovely private beach and free to use kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.

We go every year. Staff is amazing! Every thing is well kept.

Wooden cottages, great forest location with views of water and not only. Man can also borrow kayak.

First time there. Definitely not the last. Shelley was just amazing as were the views and cottages. If I could rate it a 10 I would. Do not pass on this resort or you will be missing out on a great vacation!. Thanks for the extra toilet paper Shelley… lol.

This is our first, I feel of many visits to Cloverleaf Cottages, we live in the Niagara region and have friends visiting from the UK for the first time, we could not have asked for a better experience. The cottages are fully equipped and immaculate, the scenery is spectacular, a short canoe ride or drive to Algonquin Park, we hope to come back again this year.

This place was clean and awesome! Couldn't have asked for a nicer place.

I've been coming to Cloverleaf since I was 10 years old, missing only the odd year here & there. My own children grew up playing on the beach here for a week every summer, and this year, my granddaughter came up for her first of many visits. For us, it's the perfect place to get away from it all, relax & enjoy family time. Memories made here are unforgettable & we're looking forward to many more to come. We now enjoy a week in the summer as well as one in the fall. Not enough can be said — it really has to be experienced in person.

My wife and I went here for our 15th Anniversary and so glad we did! When we first got there Alex, the resort owner greeted us and talked to us about Algonquin's features, like where u can see moose and bear and the different bike paths. The cabin we stayed in was clean and cozy and when I lost our only visa card he was gracious enough to offer to help us out! They have kayaking, canoeing and paddle boating included. By far the friendliest couple ever and we will be booking again! ☺

If you are looking for a small, relaxing, calming place to vacation or just get away for a few days, Cloverleaf Cottages is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. From the wonderful welcome by owner Shelley to the beautifully kept cottages it is like a home away from home but with a calm, scenic landscape set on the majestic Oxtongue Lake. This resort offers everything you need to experience a restful relaxing vacation and I would recommend it to all of my family and friends. I cannot say enough positive things about this place. All I can say is you have to experience it to believe it.

Usually go every fall and winter. Very friendly and accommodating. Their cottages are the best in the area, based on cost, facilities, cleanliness. Other cottages in the area does not offer the same facilities, looks dirtier and costs more. Definitely recommend this cottage if you are planning to stay overnight in the area.

We just got back from a week of fun and family with a rather large event — Shelley and Alex were amazing and the whole site is absolutely gorgeous, so well maintained and clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this resort, you really won't find better operators to ensure your stay is all you want it to be! Thanks so much guys — can't wait to come back.

Great location (Very near Algonquin Park), beautiful setting (Oxtongue Lake), and a great cottage — Ours (#13) was quite comfortable for 2 couples and a child. Clean and well-appointed+supplied. We went in the winter, so I can't say much about the beach, but there are many beautiful trails nearby, some groomed for skiing. A small store and also Algonquin Outfitters are within easy walking distance, and the town of Dwight is nearby. Highly recommended for those who like to ski/hike/snowshoe in the winter.
