Fabulous: George & Brenda, The best hosts ever, so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Inn. They both make you feel so welcome and I can tell you we definately will stay here again, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the Blueberry Cake was Fabulous, so nice to stay at a place where you feel right at home, met lovely guests there as well, the grounds are beautiful and so are George & Brenda, the room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and I would highly recommend staying at this so lovely B&B only wish we made plans to stay longer, next time we certainly will make reservations for a much longer stay. A beautiful B&B, very cozy and clean. There is wonderful garden to sit and relax Owners are very friendly and serve a great breakfast.

Nice room and friendly hosts. Perfect location in town. Small bathroom. Left too early for breakfast but the left us some muffins and fruit which was great.

Brenda and her husband were very accommodating. We arrived late in the evening but they helped us into our room. Ample parking. Did not hear any other guests making it a quiet stay. Older home with lots of charm. Some peeling wallpaper and unique angles on the 3rd floor suites. Has air conditioning which was great! We had 2 bedrooms and the price was reasonable. Breakfast was hand made and Brenda was very flexible with our children. Made our trip smoother with knowledge of ferry times as well which helped us plan the next morning. I would highly recommend.

Amazing beautiful traditional English style Heritage house, we used to be here couple times a year. Love it and specially the unique continental breakfast done in home freshly served by owner couple every morning.

Brenda and George run a great B&B. Highly recommended! A classic house filled with antique furniture and a delicious breakfast served for us in the morning. Far better choice than any 'chain hotel' in the area. Thanks again!

It is located centrally in Pictou and you can easily walk to all shops and restaurants in town. They have a nice large parking lot and are easy to find. The house itself is beautiful and over 100 years old — cozy decor (loved all the cross stitches! ) and nice sitting room and breakfast room (it even has an old cooking hearth — so cool! ). The room was lovely and clean — bed was large but I found it slightly short (feet were very near bottom but could have been me laying too far down) and unfortunately my side was a bit sunken (wife reported no issues on her side). The pillows were also too firm for my taste so having option of softer pillow would be a plus. But these are by no means major issues! The owners are truly warm and kind souls — they made us feel so much at home and were so hospitable! :) They even accomodated my special request of putting chocolates in the room as a surprise for my wife for our anniversary — and they even threw in a bottle of wine! They offer free bottled water and even cookies — all these are extra touches that make a B&B unique. And the breakfast — wow what a spread! Delicious muffins, yogurt with berries and maple syrup and eggs Benedict done just right — keep doing what you're doing! These are new owners of this B&B and I think they are off to an awesome start and have excellent ideas for the place — highly recommend you stay there! We had such a great stay and hosts Brenda and George were fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the hosts went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. We will definitely recommend to others!

The Willow House Inn is wonderful! The location and house are lovely, and the proprietors are friendly, knowledge and great cooks! I'll definitely be staying there again next time I'm in the area!

What a great place. Owners Jamie and Debbie are the nicest people ever and very helpful. Gave us several places in walking distance to eat. The building is historical but very cool. If you get a chance to come here please do, you won't be sorry.

This is a great place to stay when you're in Pictou. The owners are very nice, the rooms are clean/charming and you get great value. Breakfast in the morning was home made and delicious. This place is centrally located with restaurants nearby and a walking path that goes along the shoreline right across the street which is perfect for a morning stroll. Definitely a highlight from our trip.

Great breakfast and soft sheets! Inn is nice and a great value. Close to the harbour and lots of restaurants. Hosts are friendly. Seriously the softest sheets I have slept on. I actually took a look at the tag because I want to buy them.

We had the good fortune of finding this Inn and the owners a few months ago. (I meant to write a review then. ) We have traveled enough to know when we have found a treasure. We stayed almost 2 weeks. Willow House Inn is comfortable, charming, has great hosts, great food and is centrally located in town. Thanks for the laughs and for making us feel welcome.

Wow. Charming is the first word that came to mind. The hosts were funny, engaging and remembered everyone's names! The food was fabulous. We were lucky enough to be there on cinnamon bun day for breakfast! I can't forget the home made jams! Location was great, our room faced a main street so if you're a light sleeper, I might recommend a room off the residential side. But it didn't bother me one bit. The house is fantastically old! Don't expect perfect plumbing and fancy locks! Just the way it should be. Adds character. I do plan on returning and I would recommend the Willow House to others!

The owners were very accommodating. We got in late and the owner set us up right away with a king bed room. Breakfast was nicely presented. Overall the experience was great for the price.

We stayed at Willow House this past spring and here's the review I typed up but didn't post 'til now. Well… I have to say that whoever wrote the description for this B&B should start composing fiction novels… And, the reviewers must have pretty low expectations for B&Bs The price was good… but this is the OFF season, and we have had some fantastic B&Bs for the same price this week. This place is more along the lines of a rooming house. Faded and worn red carpet in the halls and on the stairs, which look very dirty along the edges. Awful wallpaper in halls, and rooms… peeling, faded and VERY poorly hung. Extra tacky decorating (faded plastic flower arrangements), stained carpet, old, grimy bathroom… etc, etc, etc. The bedspread and shams didn't look clean… I hope the sheets were… I honestly was appalled and would have gone elsewhere, except that it was late, and I didn't want to forfeit my reservation fee. Disgusting is the only word I can come up with and "totally false and misleading advertising" is my opinion. If you want a group home / rooming house feel to your night's sleep… this is the place to go. Otherwise, almost anything else must be better (isn't there some kind of self regulating body for B&Bs? )
