The best food in Pictou Country.

The view is amazing. Pool and boats are fun. Beautiful place to walk around and fires on the beach. Very friendly staff and great food.

Awesome Spot to get some much needed rest and relaxation and lots of fun in between. 😊

I love the cottage. Very spacious and the view was amazing. We so enjoyed seeing deer, squirrels, birds, and even the groundhog that walked right across our deck. The bed was comfortable and I loved the air tub. We couldn’t find the remote for the bedroom TV though lol. I loved having the fireplace in the evening. The cottage had everything we wanted. I would recommend this place to my friends however if we come back, we will try a different cottage (the upstairs) or perhaps a single room. This will most likely be our winter getaway spot for next year but we will stay longer than the two days. There was a bit of downside because there was a family overhead who waled like a heard of elephants. There was constant thumping coming from overhead (our ceiling/their floor) as they walked across their floor, pull chairs out from the table and going up and down their stairs. They had kids who were constantly running/jumping. We came here to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary and was hoping for some peace and quiet. The noise disrupted our sleep-in in the morning and was constant all day long. They left the day ahead of us and what a difference. The peace and tranquillity was amazing. I really could have stayed for the rest of the month.

Beautiful view, the grounds are tidy and well groomed, staff is super friendly and the food is delicious!

We booked a 3 night stay after visiting for a wedding last fall. We had our 2 young kids with us this time and don't have a single negative thing to say. The food was amazing, service was above and beyond on all fronts, amenities were perfect. We were lucky enough to add an extra night to our stay and have already booked for next year! This past week was like heaven.

Amazing location, wonderful team, delicious food and beautifully maintained property. Very accommodating and knowledgeable about a Gluten Free diet. We will be back!

Terrific spot, nice things to do her like swimming, long walks on the beautiful beach. Staff are fantastic, food is delicious and the paddle boats were alot of fun. We will definitely be back!

Many thanks to Wes at Pictou Lodge. We stayed in one if their chalets for our pandemic Honeymoon. A beautiful seaside location in NS. We would recommend anyone to come here for a quiet, restful vacation. Lots of wildlife to watch. Walks on a beautiful beach. The chalet was very nice. Go for a staycation this summer!

Just amazing! Loved the location and view. We ate in the dining room and were blown away by the food. The chocolate orange dome for dessert was so yummy!

My sister worked there a few years back and we loved visiting there … sometimes for a weekend or just for dinner or brunch. She is no longer a staff but is treated as family and the staff are so wonderful while we visit. Can’t say enough about the resort amenities food and especially staff. So glad we continue to visit and stay yearly.

Travelled from Ireland for a family wedding. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Fantastic from start to finish. Staff, location, amenities, food all fabulous.

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, the view while having a nice dinner, it couldn’t have been anymore perfect!
While we were leaving it was kinda sad to leave the atmosphere, we are local but enjoyed the feeling of being pampered!
We also love our Sunday breakfasts that’s more relaxed and always amazing food!

You can really tell a good place by how comfortable the beds are best pillows, mattress and linens. Plenty of new towels. Love the dining room and the view. The band was great too. I must say that the seafood was better in Digby, but I still really enjoyed our stay.
