First night at Cooper's Inn in Shelburne. Amazing host, Pat and David have gone above and beyond. We had a great time in the garden meeting friends and even met some new friends fron the US. We laughed, drank some wine and just enjoyed the company, host and evening. Definitely a return visit and highly recommend this as a destination.

Just returned from an extended weekend motorcycle cruise with a couple of long time friends. We spent a night in Shelburne with Pat and Dave at Cooper’s Inn.
What a delightful and much needed rest after a long day on the bikes. Rooms were well appointed with plenty of everything, particularly glassware. Their quiet and very comfortable garden quad was especially relaxing and THE BREAKFAST! What a delight. I am looking forward to returning with Cathy for a comfortable stay with caring hosts. Thank you Pat, thank you Dave.

We recently had a great stay at Coopers Inn in Shelburne. The location was great, the hosts were very friendly and hospitable. The room (MacLean) was very comfortable with a nice view of the gardens and harbour. All the little extras were very nice and we really appreciated them, including a social hour at 5pm to meet the hosts and other guests which also included a complimentary glass of wine or non alcoholic beverage. The breakfast was amazing with a great choice of different “mains” and sides, which you could mix and match. We highly recommend a stay at Coopers Inn and will definitely stay there again on another trip to the Shelburne area.

We had a lovely two-night stay. Pat & Dave are gracious hosts with many warm and welcoming touches. The garden is beautiful, rooms are charming and breakfast is incredible. The location can’t be beat with proximity to the Black Loyalist Heritage Centre and beautiful view of the ocean. We fell asleep to the sounds of ocean waves and beautiful wind chimes. We will return!

Loved our weekend here enjoying the wonderful food and hospitality. Sitting in the garden courtyard was so relaxing. See you next year!

Beautiful historic building on the water in Shelburne. Pat and David were very welcoming and we were soon settled into a lovely room with views over the water.
Their recommendation to eat at Charlotte Lane Cafe was an excellent one and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there.
Pat’s breakfasts are legendary and we were not disappointed! The menu was innovative, tasty and beautifully presented.
I would highly recommend a stay here.

We enjoyed our one night stay immensely. The socialising with our hosts and other guests in the late afternoon was great fun. Our room was small, but very cozy and breakfast was fantastic! Thank you so much for our new travel buddies!

We’ve been enjoying a very memorable holiday for the last month thru Nova Scotia, PEI and New Brunswick, every where we stayed we felt 100% at home, here not so much, small room, noisy guests that ruined a nights sleep. Would score this as our highest priced and least enjoyed.

Spent two relaxing nights at this hidden gem. Cannot say enough about Pat and David. Genuine, friendly folk who are so helpful to their guests. Bed? We treated ourselves to the suite which is simultaneously cozy yet spacious. Breakfast? Would do any restaurant in any hotel proud. We WILL be back.

Location is perfect, ambiance rustic and the hosts are reputed to be exquisite… I'll be in on my next Shelburne hometown visit.

Hospitality is the operative word here. A welcoming and wonderful place to stay.

From the moment David greeted me at the door, I was charmed. His easy conversational style gave me the welcome feeling of arriving home and being brought up to date on local happenings. Our comfortable accommodation, The Harbour Suite, was delightful with views from the top floor in all directions. The sunset reflected in the harbour was worthy of a postcard. We especially enjoyed the cocktail hour, hosted by David and Pat, in their well tended side garden where we met our fellow travellers and shared many stories and travel tips as well as complimentary Nova Scotia beverages.

The hosts Pat and David are really great people and made us feel right at home! All the the touches to make you feel truly welcome, great breakfasts and the Teddy Bears in your bed to welcome you are all a part of this lovely Bed and Breakfast in a Shelburne, Nova Scotia! Their historic home boasts the traditional style of the 18th century and is in the historic registry. Close to the water so you have a view to the sea or a moments walk in the other side of the street. Their recommendations for places to eat were spot on and being foodies, that is always a consideration in our travels. Thanks to Pat and David for sharing their home!

Beautiful historic inn with harbour views. We stayed 2 nights recently in the 3rd floor suite. Loved the unique layout which managed to include a full kitchen, bathroom with stacked washer and dryer, a large dining table and comfortable sitting area. The beds are in two cozy alcoves each with a skylight. Pat and David are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts were excellent. Totally enjoyed our stay.

The garden is beautiful to go and sit, breathe in the fresh ocean air. Perfect location. Spectacular views.

Great location on the waterfront in this historic town. Wonderful warm welcoming hosts who made us feel at home even though we arrived late and stayed for only one night. Lovely room and decor with many generous individual touches. Beautiful home cooked breakfasts cooked to order. We also went to Charlotte Lane Cafe for dinner which was superb. Go hungry! All in all a great stop in Shelburne — not to be missed!

Beautiful luxury setting on the harbour!

This was our second visit to The Cooper's Inn (this time for our 15th anniversary) in beautiful historic Shelburne, and we loved every minute of it. David & Pat were friendly and attentive hosts and we felt at home immediately, being welcomed at the door with a smile. The personalized card waiting in our room was a thoughtful touch! Our made-to-order breakfasts, prepared by David, were works of art — absolutely delicious and wholesome. The time and care that goes into its preparation and service is obvious. Such is rare these days! We loved the cozy room, the antique furnishings and ambiance of the entire inn: it is quiet and restful. Everything was impeccably clean and in its place. We are quiet folk and so we appreciated the serenity of the lovely garden, the wind chimes, the fountain bubbling away in the little pond and the breathtaking view of the waterfront. It is also within walking distance to just about everything you need — not to mention one our favourite restaurants, Charlotte Lane. Without a doubt, we'll be back to enjoy more time at The Cooper's Inn and we highly recommend it!

Adored our stay at the Inn. The Inn Keepers are warm, wonderful people who make you feel welcome from the moment you enter the door. Pat is a fabulous hostess taking the time to insure your stay is seamless. Dave is a stellar host/chef, even going the extra mile to create a special meal for my elderly father. Their staff is helpful and warm. The Social Hour in the garden with fellow guests and our gracious hosts was beyond enjoyable! Excellent B and B. Hosts Pat and David are super friendly. Gluten free breakfast, superb coffee. Will definitely recommend this place to others.

A wonderful, wonderful place. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The hosts were warm, helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to talk with. Even if you're an introvert (as we are), I encourage you to go to the 5:00 PM social hour. We found it to be a highlight (one of many) of our stay, meeting the other guests and getting to know our hosts. Breakfast was amazing! Several selections are offered, and everything we tried was delicious! Also, I'm a coffee snob, and I was in heaven! Within seconds of ordering coffee, you hear the grinder in the kitchen, and then… your own French press is set on your table. The hosts, Pat and David, go above and beyond in every way. I highly recommend this B&B. When I return to the area, I will definitely stay there again — and, I hope, for longer.

Really nice friendly place. Met great people and the owners are really nice! The flower garden is to die for! Breakfast was good appart from undercooked sausages. Would recommend it.

Amazing B&B in the heart of Shelburne's historical district. Quiet and clean rooms with tasteful decor. The breakfasts are very tasty and filling with careful attention to the little details. Careful attention to little details are the hallmark of this lovely place.

This is a nice inn with comfortable rooms, though it's been a while since I stayed there. The location is excellent, in the historic part of Shelburne near the harbour.

Lovely B&B in the centre of Shelburne, Pat and David were great hosts and the breakfasts were fantastic. Super comfortable four poster bed in our room.

We stayed at Cooper's Inn this past weekend — it was a wonderful experience — we were greeted immediately as we came in, our room was expansive and lovely, and breakfast was most memorable, warm muffins, french-press coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs with chives (cut from the garden I think). Spring tulips on the table. One of the owners was there and she was personable and welcoming. We have been raving to everyone since we've been home of our wonderful experience and would encourage anyone to put this on their "must-stay" list when in the area.

My husband and I have raved about the Cooper's Inn to all our friends. From the beautiful country garden to sit and relax in, which includes the two bikes for guests to use, to the hand written note welcoming us, the wine and cookies, to the outstanding breakfast menu. The room was comfortable, clean, with a full bath. The breakfast start with a Cranberry, orange juice layered in a tulip glass. French pressed coffee was the BEST, to the French toast with baked apple and pear with cinnamon, blueberries, strawberries, honeydew, and cantalope. We could not have asked for anything better.
