Best B&B ever! The owners are extremely thoughtful and go the extra mile to create a most pleasant experience for their guests. The gourmet breakfast was simply amazing. The small bar fridge in the dining room is filled with beer and wine for guests to help themselves, as is self serve coffee, tea and cold water. The owners treat you like the best of friends or close family members from the first greeting as you pull up in the driveway to check out time. This B&B is close to a larger centre for shopping and dining, and the lovely picturesque town of Lunenburg. Lots of lovely places to visit up and around the coast, so you can easily spend a few days here and have plenty to do and see.

Five of us stayed 4 nights, the room my wife and I had was beautiful: comfy king bed, great view of lake LaHave, large shower with rain head. There is beautiful woodwork and artwork throughout this clean stylish elegant b&b. Cathy and Kelly are warm accommodating hosts who serve a great breskfast. The entire time we felt like we were staying with good friends.

If you're looking to recharge and need a peaceful, serene and beautiful atmosphere to recharge your batteries then look no further than Toba's Bed & Breakfast. My husband and I needed a few days away and we couldn't have picked a better place! The views are spectacular, the beds are cozy, the rooms are spacious and spotless, the breakfasts were delicious and the best part was meeting Cathy and Kelly. They are a mother daughter team who are very welcoming. They have created such a special, healing and restful place. We loved getting to know them during our breakfast conversations which were deep and meaningful and could last for hours. They've mastered the art of being welcoming but also giving you the space you need. We cannot wait to visit again!

Had an absolutely beautiful time at Toba’s bed and breakfast! Cathy and Kelly spoiled me my entire visit. They always made sure I was comfortable and waited on me hand and foot. The food was absolutely delicious! The breakfasts felt like gourmet meals. My coffee cup, tummy and heart was always full.

We went to East Lahave to hear our friend Patricia Watson perform and we spent the night at this wonderful bed and breakfast. It is filled with antiques, art work, books and we couldn’t have felt more welcomed. Our breakfast was delicious and they catered to my dietary restrictions. Cathy and Kelly are amazing hostesses.

August 2018 — Stayed at Toba’s Bed and Breakfast for 2 nights and it wasn’t long enough! It is a beautiful home and the hospitality was wonderful! Kelly and Cathy were welcoming and made us feel like we were home!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Toba’s and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the South shore of NS! You will not be disappointed!

July 2018-Toba's Bed and Breakfast is a gorgeous historical home. The hosts, Kelly and Cathy are so welcoming and helpful. From comfortable beds to delicious breakfasts. Best ever eggs Benedict I have ever had. Great job Kelly! Hands down the best B&B we've ever stayed. We can't wait to visit again! Thank you Kelly and Cathy for a wonderful stay!

Amazing experience for me and my three daughters to have stayed here for the last two days! We would love to come back and do a bit more exploring on the south shore, and enjoying our evenings with this mother and daughter team. What a journey they will have, this is only the beginning.

My partner and I stayed at Toba’s for 5 days and enjoyed every minute of it. We didn’t want to leave! The entire house was SO clean — especially our bedroom and bathroom. Cathy and Kelly made such delicious breakfasts for us every morning. They made us feel so safe, welcome and comfortable from the moment we stepped foot in the front door. They not only made us feel welcome in their space but they also went above and beyond by giving us great suggestions of places to visit and eat in the nearby towns. The house was so historic and beautifully restored with a true east coast vibe. This location is wonderfully close by to drive to Lunenberg, Mahone Bay and various beaches in under 30 minutes. We would go back and stay with them in a heartbeat!

Beautiful view of the lahave river. Hospitality was genuine, very comfortable atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. Slept well. Mother and daughter very informative of the area, highly recommend It!

This is the most welcoming B&B I've ever stayed in. Cathy and Kelly are running this place with so much love and passion that it is impossible not to fall for this beautifully restored house near Lunenburg. All the best for a fantastic season Cathy & Kelly!
