I visited last night. Was blatantly ignored by the bartender for over twenty minutes. I watched her skip all over and serve a bunch of people that came in after our party arrived. Everyone in our group got served except me, so I left. I have been a bartender for 18 years and I would have lost my job if I ignored customers like that. I usually look forward to visiting when I am in town, but I will not be coming back. Thanks for nothing.

One of the most comfortable experiences I have had in a hotel. The facilities they offer are perfect. The staff has an excellent, all of them are extremely nice and always willing to support any type of need you may have. Breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options from local cuisine. Also, the rooms are well cleaned. Overall, is a perfect spot for families.

We had take out from Asian Thai recently. The Pork was well prepared — good, clean flavors. The beef and broccoli was also well prepared. Take out service is excellent. They get the food ready for you in a flash, and the service is always, always friendly and helpful. We've also dined in the restaurant, and the service and food also has been excellent. This is one of our 'go to' places for an unplanned dinner out or take out. Prices are very reasonable.

It's what I expected for the price. Room was alright, bed was kind of comfy and the room smelled a bit odd. On another note, the bar was a laugh, and me and my buddy drank there all night. Great company and the drinks were tasty. Highly recommend checking out the bar on a Monday night as they have specials on martinis!

Found it to be an exceptional experience. The rooms are great and clean. Staff was so helpful. Everyone there is focused on your stay being as pleasurable as possible. Complete staff take extreme pleasure in their guests complete satisfaction. The obsessive attention to detail with infectiously positive smiles by all add up to a wonderful experience. Love the bar. The bar is well-stocked with good ambiance and with many unique brands of alcohol and a good selection of beers and wines, and there many great seating pockets both in and around the area. The restaurant is excellent, and certainly one of the better restaurants in town. The food was fantastic. For dinner one night, my wife and I enjoyed. Its worth making a special stop to this restaurant.

Got a chance to stay at the hotel for 3 days. About rooms — clean, full of fragrance and well maintained. About lounge — love the service staff. Love the music and aroma. About restaurant — food was yummy and tasty. Love the way they serving us. hotel staff was always there for you and they were so helpful.

Cooperative staff — The staff were there when you need them and the food was good. The restaurant with fine dining was awesome. It was surreal eating there. This place was exactly what we needed — a break from the hectic working lives. I can’t wait to return. Really enjoyed our last Sunday there.

Got a chance for dinner at Asia Thai Restaurant at my friend's birthday party. Food was amazing and hotel itself arrange a cake for my friend. Thank you for that as we were not familiar with the area. Luckily his birthday was on Wednesday of May and they have the Karaoke event there. Really enjoyed a lot.

This is a classy Motel on the road side of Nova Scotia. It is a complete package for the family. Lounge for elders, karaoke event for kids, side sitting for relaxing. Me with my family stayed there for one weekend night and really enjoyed.

I stayed at this Hotel, for two days. It was overall and amazing experience. As soon as you step into it you are treated excellently. Everyone is attentive and is ready to assist you should you need it. I heard a lot of negative opinions regarding all-inclusive hotels and food but this hotel went past all my expectations. There was a great variety of food and it was all so fresh and delicious. There were times I was not hungry but the food was too good to pass up. Best part is activity for children. Must visit.

This was about the 5th time we have stayed at The Stone House Motel Restaurant and again it was just wonderful. This hotel is good and the staff are all wonderful. We will return again I am sure. Many thanks to you all for looking after us and making our stay so beautiful.

This hotel is a total good! We made a deep research of Nova Scotia in order to decide where to stay for a road trip. It is a huge rooms available, fully decorated with great taste! Everything is clean and smells really nice! The staff is very nice and attentive all the time. Food and drinks are amazing There are different activities and classes scheduled every Sunday. You can get the update from their fb page. Also, they have Asian Thai restaurant for dinner which was amazing.

Great Room, Great In house service — Staff was great and very friendly. Fantastic View front — open landscape, Green Area. Dining at Asian Thai Restaurant is a must. They have Karaoke session — good addition to chill and fun.

Best location, best service by hotel staff, best experience of my tour. There are almost everything in the hotel which a person want Food at restaurant is excellent. The service is beyond expectation. Rooms are well designed and neat & clean. I suggest the picnic activity and the amount you pay will worths every penny! I will definitely go again when again visit ca.

I have visited this place last week when I was on road trip with my family to Nova Scotia. Everything was perfect. Starting from the decor, ambience, service, atmosphere and food. Perfect Thai fine dining. Thanks for the food.

Ate at Parichat Asia Thai restaurant. Was very good and different from other Thai I have tried.

I've only been to Julia's Lounge once, but it was a great time. I've heard lots of good things about Karaoke night.

Had lunch in the Thai restaurant, had the pad Thai, it was good. Service was good as well.

Very friendly staff, ample parking available Motel&bar Large and smaller rooms available, recent renovations make it a very pleasant place to stay. It is very close to downtown truro.

GREAT, Clean & just a very family oriented staff. I am a camper. Tryed BW. $$$ HLDY Inn. YOU want to pay extra for living in a Hotel not my scene. Mind as well stay home.

We stayed there on September 19th. The sheets, towels etc. We're clean as well as the bathroom/shower. The owners were friendly. The smoke alarm was pulled out and hanging from the ceiling. The entrance door around the knob was dirty. After we were told the room was non smoking, it had an odor of stale tobacco really bad. Why we stayed there? For some reason there was no other availability when we arrived at 10 at night.

A little run down but clean and the staff was pleasant. Fairly priced.

Dirty and very outdated rooms. Was very hot and musty. Ac was broken. Shower barely worked. Bathroom was filthy. TV was from the 90s and cut off a good portion of the screen because of widescreen cable format.

Absolutely loved Nova Scotia! The front desk man was awesome. He made our stay very enjoyable. The room was great, better than most I've been in. Wi-Fi a bit slow but the area was fun to walk. Tim Hortons was a five minute walk. Recommend this if you're passing through.

One of the worst motel experiences I've ever had. Booked a room ahead of time, they knew we were travelling with an infant under 2 years and arriving late at night. We arrived and had to wait at least 20 minutes while they arranged to bring us to our room. And then when we were about to enter the room someone was staying in it! They moved us to another room that was not cleaned. They even tried to reuse the old blankets, they forgot to provide clean towels and soap and give us the room key. The floor was littered with chips, and it was a smoking room, apparently the only one they had. We were provided a half-price refund but frankly I would have rather been told from the get-go that there were no vacancies. I would rate this motel less if I could.

Nasty… just nasty… clean your motel!

This motel, I gave a 1 out of 5 because a zero isn't a rating. Checked into my room, 140$ because they only had a suite with a king size bed and a full kitchen… fine I'll take your last room. I only was staying 1 evening, had my dogs with me… 10$ extra for each dog and 300$ deposit for incidentals? I will explain my terrible stay by how things happened… so bare with me on this, I will give you my honest opinion on this hotel or 'dive" as I would call it. First thing that struck me as odd and rude was the young girl who obviously hated her job, checked me in, and then explained why she was tagging extra fees onto my room about the dogs etc… great… the front desk doubled as a walk through a door to the bar counter on the opposite side, she also broke conversation to pour drinks then came back… really rude… and her attitude sucked. Next, I unload my kit bags… and get my two very tiny dogs up to my room, I'm by myself… we just need a place to lay our heads. People partying out in the courtyards… I open my room and get a face full of cobwebs… NICE! Nobody has been in here or checked my room in eons. Besides that, the odor or decomposing feces and stale urine soaks the room because somebody relieved themselves and did not flush! The room was above 30 degrees and made it much worse! Oh and locals peeking in my room made me very nervous and intimidated. The language I heard was foul. I check the inside… apparently my room is the IT central here.

Courteous Staff, Very clean. Best bang for my buck in over 20 years on the road. Thank You so very munch.

Rooms were smelly. Wifi was none existent. Service was slow and surly. Look elsewhere.

Shitty Wi-Fi (worst than it seems, no words to explain), 50% of staff is rude and boring. Most greedy owner I ever met. Stayed there for too long.

I work for a construction company and we put one of our supervisors in this hotel. It was horrible, our guy was disgusted by the first room they put him in so they put him in "one of their better rooms", he left for the weekend and no one had cleaned his room while he was gone. He checked out after only staying there 3 nights and we put him up in another local hotel. About a month or so later we get our visa statement and they charged us for the full month. I've been calling them for over two weeks and they still haven't credited the right amount back to the card. What a nightmare they are to deal with. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
