The motel is very clean and quiet. The renovations are very nice and the staff were very helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast was the best we have ever had in any motel and the lady in charge did an excellent job of replenishing all the dishes quickly. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great price, they gave a discount for former military service. Great room, clean and comfortable. The people were very nice! Great breakfast in the morning! Comfort Inn is the way to go! Thank you!

Dog barking. Late evening and early morning. Tub would not drain properly.

Close proximity to the highway. Very kind staff. Very clean rooms. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Would stay again.

Poor experience. Pros: Kind staff members. Cons: We got a double queen bed room, although we booked for 5. No extra bed was available. Also, we got 4 towels and 1 (one! ) pair of shower gel/shampoo. No elevator. No laundry room. The fridge is the size of a backpack. The air conditioning and the desk are sticking deep into the room, it's hard to move around and kids can easily bump into them. The breakfast is below average, and only 4 tables in the breakfast area.

Lovely place to stay. AC in the rooms. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast which is complementary.

Breakfast was good and included. The rooms were clean. The toilet seat was really weird but apart from that. Everything was good.

These people are always amazing anytime I stay. Rooms are clean staff is friendly the breakfast is adequate. Again this is the only place I will stay in Truro.

It was clean. You could hear everything threw the walls. The mattress was extremely hard. So uncomfortable. The worst sleep of my life. I highly recommend you send your in-laws there if you don't like them :)

The rooms were super clean and the beds were really comfortable. The staff were really friendly. And it's within walking distance to a lot of things.

Not many positives here… the room stunk like it had been smoked in for 20 years, and was damp. The toilet ran all night, the bed was rock hard. The office chair wouldn’t stay at the height adjustment I set it at. The alarm clock needed to be unplugged because it was so old my phone was somehow was causing radio interference and it was making a static noise. The door to the outside parking lot slammed every time someone entered and exited. The bathroom had some pretty nasty stains on it and the toilet seat is peeling and bubbling. Other then that the front desk staff was polite amoung check in.

Great atmisphere and customer service. The location is easy to find as its off hi way 102 in truro ns.

Nice modern clean rooms, nice breakfast, nice staff! A little hard to find off the highway as the sign does not face the exit ramp and the street is hidden and not well lit. Pet friendly. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Quiet. Bath sheets instead of the small crappy ones most hotels have. Courteous staff. Would definitely stay again.

I rented a room last night on my way to Halifax. It has everything you might ever need. It was spotless. I agree with a previous comment, the cleaning crew is doing awesome job! From now on I'm staying in Comfort Inn whenever possible.

Recently visited the Comfort Inn in Truro, NS. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Truro comfort Inn. I came with my husband who stays here all week long for work. The staff is amazing and the cleaning people do a great job. They always help with every I need. The only thing is is that the beds in certain rooms are old and uncomfortable while other beds are super soft and comfortable.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. A basic hotel. Priced reasonably with breakfast included. Awesome location for the hockey tournament we were there for. The only two things that would have made our stay better would have been a pool (which I understand is very costly to build and maintain), and a room or area our team could have gotten together to play, hang out, play mini sticks, etc. But again, we were very pleased.

We found a nice clean room and good service. Quite and enjoyable time, recommend staying there when in Truro!

Enjoy my night there rooms were great staff was great … morning breakfast was awesome the lady that worked the breakfast was awesome she made us feel right at home laughed to whole time while eating… great people person she was… hope she is there the next time I have my breakfast… love soft butter!

Nice place to stay except our non smoking room smelled so strongly of smoke that all our clothes were smokey smelling the next day. Although the the staff were very nice, when we mentioned all this to them at check out they didn't seem very concerned or even apologize.

The rooms are a little small but the service was excellent and rooms are cleaned.

We just wanted to send a quick message of thanks. We stayed Saturday night and everyone was so helpful and friendly. From check in, to check out each staff member we encountered welcomed us and asked if there was anything that they could do to make our stay more enjoyable. Kudos to your whole team. Dirty, grubby, cramped what more needs to be said.

Stayed here for one night on a road trip with another couple. Both "non smoking" rooms smelled like an old bingo hall. The smell of stale cigarettes in the rooms was so bad my wife and I could not sleep. Left at 3am to escape the smell and minimize the fallout of odour onto our luggage. An insult to guests to put them in rooms like this claiming them as non smoking. Definitely a trashy place, but even the newest hotel in town still allows smoking in some rooms. Worth the drive to Halifax and back to see anything here for anyone who can relate to this review.

Well appointed room, great staff and very comfortable.

Have stayed in many ChoiceHotel accommodations, this rates way down there. Previous night was at Comfort Inn, Bridgewater, difference of day and night. Truro check-in was curt and disinterested — — so much for hospitality. Navigating the stairs with a variety of luggage wasn't pretty. Carpet in room was originally a blue-gray but with a dirty sheen of brown and very worn nap. Breakfast might have been ok if one could have gotten close — — probably room for 8 at a time and after 3 visits, we left hungry. Plus side, mattress was comfortable and pillows soft and fluffy.
