This place was great. Very clean. We arrived late but the lady at the front desk made sure we made it to supper. The waitress was great, very professional and adhered to all Covid 19 regulations. The bread was to die for as was the partridge berry cheesecake. Loved it her. Thank you.

Absolutely loved the food & service at Georgies & The Blue Barrel Cafe was beautiful. The orange chocolate cheesecake was to die for. Eating while being so close to the water added to the whole experience.

My wife and I stayed there last night. The room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff was professional yet comforting. I felt safe and sanatation is an obvious priority. Thank you so much!

Me and my Husband stayed at The Anchor inn this pass summer when we where on our honeymoon. The room was really nice we had one with a king size bed and it had a super cute chair and wine barrel table and the wood floors where so beautiful just really added to the charm. The view was amazing and they have cute little chairs out front to sit and watch the harbour. We went to the bar Captains pub in the hotel earlier in the afternoon and there was a few people around but not many but we stayed and enjoyed ourselves and had some food which was great. Then as the evening went on the place was packed and they had a live singer he was great and the atmosphere was so fun. I would say go earlier cause its not overly big and it filled up real fast once it started. We had a great night, then the next morning we got up and ate breakfast at the Georgies restaurant upstairs and it was the best breakfast I has the entire trip. Would definally stay here again!

Central location, close to most of the attractions in the area. Large clean rooms, comfy beds. Great restaurant, bar and staff.

Very nice and clean room. Very beautiful views of the harbour. Bed is super comfy and. Very clean crisp sheets. The hotel has a restaurant, pub and a coffe shop on site. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed in suite 20. We found it to be very clean and nicely appointed. Thanks to Maggie for excellent service on a very busy morning. We got a moment to chat after the crowd thinned out. I had to really search for a con. The door to the hallway could be more substantial and would cut down on some hallway noise. Overall this in n satisfied all of our needs. … Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

Beautiful view, our suite was in excellent condition. We could hear a little hallway noise. I would definitely come back.

Ok place for coffee. Baked goods, were only mediocre.

Nice place. Convenient having a cafe and Georgie's restaurant in the same building. Friendly staff were happy to help when we locked our key in our room. One comment would be that the blinds + curtains didn't keep the room dark after the sun rose.

We had a fantastic holiday in twillingate and the service & hospitality in the hotel was exceptional. The staff were very helpful with recommendations for the most fabulous scenery spots and enjoyable events. Would highly recommend this unique clean comfortable accommodating spot.

Such a lovely place! Very welcoming staff and clean, updated rooms. Beautiful flooring in the rooms which I didn't expect. Georgie's restaurant is excellent and I had a great latte from the cafe! Highly recommend!

From checkin to checkout the entire experience was 5 stars. I booked online and from conformation to the the thanks for your stay email when I checked out, all perfectly done. My room was just so inviting, comfortable and clean. The restaurant is top notch and the food is the best to be had in Twillingate. Love the pub and Captain Mike who I hear has signed on for another year. I shall return!

We had the suite which is located in a separate building just up over the hill. The suite was quite spacious. Everything looked pretty clean. Great view. We were on the 2nd floor so access was using stairs inside the building. Suite had a small stove/oven, fridge, dishes, pots/pans, etc. Fans in each room to cool things down on warm evenings. Overall a positive experience.

Great place to stay. Very clean and super comfortable beds. Georgie's Resaturant on site, is absolutely fabulous, delicious food, beautiful view of the harbour and the staff are next to none.

We were in Twillingate for the weekend for the wedding of 2 dear friends… the suites were amazing! Clean, tidy, spacious, and super comfortable! Housekeeping was great… lots of clean towels, face clothes and they were super accommodating. The front desk girls were warm, courteous & friendly. And the view… well it is simply unparalleled… stunning! Highly recommended!

The view from the deck of the hotel was amazing. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff at the hotel were so friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We also ate supper at the restaurant which was fantastic and enjoyed breakfast at the cafe, which had great coffee. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I've been to the anchor Inn for food many times. I've never stayed there but the food is excellent, I've never been disappointed. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. This time they had a new hostess called Sarah who gave us a great welcome.

Located near the north end of town, Anchor Inn is central enough to be convenient but nicely removed from the general hustle and bustle right downtown. Rooms have great view of the bay. Service was very friendly and the rooms were newly renovated!

The only bar in Twillingate I could find. A bit soleless but the bar staff are good.

Nice view. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. On the negative, the Wi-Fi was weak and the restaurant opened late for breakfast and dinner.

We arrived to Twillingate tired, cranky and defeated after taking the 7am ferry from Fogo Island. We were greeted in the Blue Barrel Cafe by a friendly, and kind lady. We had delicious coffee, a buttery scone and great conversation. We wanted to thank the lady behind the counter this morning (May 29, 16), because of her our attitudes for the day changed. We left the cafe with new energy and anticipation for the remainder of the day. Thank you! We're sorry not to have asked for your name, but hope this note of thanks reaches you.

Comfortable rooms with great floors. Restaurant is great (when in season — closed for Winter). Pub is great.

I love staying at the Anchor Inn! Rooms are modern yet homey, everything feels new and clean. Service is great as well!

I can't believe its a 4 star Inn. Their services were horrible. I don’t think they even care for their customers. Their Ocean view suit has just a little peek of the water. There are lots of other cottages in Twillingate which have great Ocean view and will cost you less than half of this one. I will not recommend it to any of my friend.
