Classy old place. Fantastic architecture. But some very basic issues … construction around the site made it confusing as heck to find initial parking to get into building (even though we were warned beforehand), doors difficult to close and lock (bathroom door didnt close), some windows had no coverings so light very early in am. But room and bed nice. Nice amenities.
We stayed at the 71 Sydney St. Location the first week of July 2018. This was the perfect spot for us. The location was exceptional for the activities we had planned. The room itself was lovely, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Having access to the living areas of the house, including the solarium where we had our morning coffee, was a real bonus. In addition, the Chipman Hill personnel we had dealings with were extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel like our comfort was their prime consideration. Our entire experience with this company was exceptional and I would highly recommend this location for those visiting St John.
