We phoned from PEI last minute and I believe later in the evening. We got booked in for following afternoon. We arrived an hour before check in and Our Room was ready :-) We went unloaded some gear for the night and hit the awesome pool till supper time then grabbed a couple of La Roma burgers to go at the on site restaurant… delicious I recommend. Beautiful river for pictures. Quiet comfortable nights sleep made it easy to continue our drive home to Cambridge Ontario Thank you La Roma :-)

More than enough for a night on the road. Clean room and bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool. A short drive from malls or restaurants.

Super very clean motel! We made a stop at this place before leaving for Rexton, NB and it was perfect. Microwave and small fridge in the room, AC well functional. A little place to remember.

Beautiful setting, wonderfully friendly owners and staff, food is homey and tasty, and quick — it's a place I'd come back to every time we pass through Edmundston.

Came to this hotel due to flooding in our home! Very impressed by this privately owned Motel! Room was very clean and well maintained even if its an older motel, very cozy! Great view of the river! Owner was very friendly and welcoming, which was very appreciated after the few last nights in a less friendly large chain hotel! I would recommend this motel in a heartbeat! Decent place to stop for a rest if you are just passing through edmunston. Decent place for the price.

I think I may have been the only person staying there. Didn't see anyone else the while time I was there. Usually someone wakes me up to make the bed but even that didn't happen here. It's good and close to the casino. The restaurant is closed for the season until June. Kind of in the middle of nowhere so good for walking your dog. If you have one. But keep it on leash around the motel please.

Stopped into this place cause it was close to the main road and very affordable. The place is very dated looking and the beds are shorter than normal or so I found as I'm 5'8 and my feet hung off the bed. It worked well other than that for a quìck stop and go but would not recommend it for a longer stay. Staff was very polite and rooms were clean. No crawlers and fresh towels with non of that musky smell like some older motels. Again good value for what your getting.

After driving all day with 5 kids from Bedford Nova Scotia, it was so nice to stop and rest. Very clean room and great service.

Nice motel. Front desk staff very friendly. Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. I would stay there again.

Friendly and great spot to stay over. Left Ottawa, stayed overnight, and continued towards Moncton. Room was adequate. Small bathroom with shower. Wash sink was outside. It was ok. Not a spacious room, but was ok for what it was for. Room rate was $100 plus taxes week. It was $120 weekend approx. (Stopped on the way back). Restaurant was open when we first got there September 1, but it was closed for the season when we went back 10 days later. We did eat at the restaurant in the evening and the morning… it was good. Other restaurants were available in two other exits near buy.

My daughter and I (and her Great Dane) were welcomed to our overnight stay here by a very friendly front desk guy. The room was immaculately clean and quiet. Would stay here again the next time I drive out East!

This is my 3rd time staying at La Roma. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and the price is reasonable. The location is also convenient for access to the highway but far enough away that you don't hear the traffic. This is my go-to place when travelling between Ontario and Nova Scotia.

My parents highly recommended that my husband and I stay in La Roma as a halfway point from Nova Scotia to Ontario. When we went to book there were only the premium rooms available, which we were fine with considering it was still a good price. We weren't going to get there until past midnight, so we called them to confirm that we wouldn't lose our room. They were very accommodating and helpful. When we did eventually arrive we were able to get in without a problem. From the outside it looks like your standard traveller's motel. The inside, however, was significantly better than I had expected. It was very large, clean, and bright. What made me the most excited was the jacuzzi right there in the bedroom. We were too tired to take advantage of that at night, but after an excellent night sleep we woke ourselves up with a morning hot tub bubble bath. Since we had a full day of driving ahead we weren't planning on sticking around at all. While packing the car we were able to see the beautiful river that ran though the back of the property, the pool, and the restaurant. I would have loved to stay longer, and the next time we make the trip we will! Like my parents I too highly recommend staying in Motel La Roma.

After a long trip from Newmarket Ontario to Edmunston… this was the place to stay. The rooms were clean, the owners were friendly and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I don't have any experience of it long term, but for a night it was great. They were even in distance of delivery from St. Hubert's which was much needed! If we ever have a road trip back up here again, we most definitely will be staying here to rest! :D.

Good old fashioned motel for a highway trip stopover. Clean accommodations. Nothing fancy, but good value. We never stay long, arrive late and leave early. The proprietors are very nice and provide good friendly service.

We had a great stay at La Roma Motel. It was clean and had a nice outdoor pool. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant at the motel and really enjoyed both meals. The staff was friendly and it was resonably priced.

Have slept the week last me and my team. Hosts excellent torque owner is super Madam has a restaurant has even the motel and fact of the dishes at home mom. JY would return a n at any time.

Great prices, close to the highway. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable rooms. Have stayed there 3 times in the last year, and would hesitate to go back if I'm traveling that way again.

Driving through to NS we needed to crash for a few hours. Called and got a price of $55/night and when we should up they charged $65/night. When I asked why the price difference the owner said we don't have anymore of that price rooms. Bullshit. There were only 4 other cars in the lot. The place was clean but no lights were on outside and it was not in a populated area so if the movie Wrong Turn comes to mind you may be like me and not sleep the whole night. Also there are no dead bolts, slasher movies are not recommended to be watched while staying here lol.

The owners of La Roma Motel made a potentially horrible experience surprisingly pleasant. I was on a comic book signing tour through 15 states and 5 Canadian provinces. As I passed through New Brunswick, I was about as far away from home as my trip would take me. As luck would have it, my car broke down and was beyond repair. In order to return to Michigan (still an 18 hour drive away) I needed a rental car. Canadian car rentals would not allow me to drive into the states, nor would they allow a one way trip. Thankfully, Paul and Saundra (the husband and wife team of owners) were able to give me a ride across the border into Maine (over an hour one way) so that I could get a rental car and head home. As if this wasn't enough, over the course of the two or three days I spent at La Roma, they were genuinely concerned about how the situation with my hoopty was progressing. They have a lovely, quaint, little diner where I had yummy hot breakfasts and Canadian delicacies for dinner (consider me the newest fan of POUTINE! ). They even have a couple of burgers named after their two sons, Alex and Nicholas. How cute is that!?! The rooms were clean and very reasonably priced. They have a pool, which was great for relaxing during my stressful car debacle. There's even a beautiful grassy knoll with a river running alongside! It was all such a peaceful, friendly, and enjoyable experience. I would return in a heartbeat.
