Excellent front end staff. Clean and renovated.

I would recommend it for the pool and restaurant.

They corrected issues instantly, lady at check in was amazing,
dont advice visit during covid since 3 floors are covid PATIENTS and medical staff. And more security then most jails. But staff is pleasent (except) some of the security who kept invading my space.

Great rooms friendly service, my family is enjoying our stay!

While the room is comfortable & the amenities plentiful, this has been a gong show of a stay. Come back from walking my dog this morning to find a woman who's clearly unbalanced pounding on guest room doors at 7:30 am. Go to guest services to inform them and when I get back to our room, the same unbalanced woman has forced herself past housekeeping and has made entry in to our room. If you value peace and quiet & presumed security, dont stay here.

Clean and updated inside. Parking lot / parking garage isn't great. Stair access only and not connected to the hotel directly. If you park in garage must walk down to floor level and then enter lobby. Didn't try any of the amenities at hotel so cannot comment on them. Staff were quick and efficient but not the most friendly. No surprises in costs and room was clean though so overall good experience.

Stayed couple of night with family. Very clean room and great guest service, friendly staff. Pool/hot tub was very clean and well maintained. Nice parking. Restaurant is good, hot breakfast. Great package all round. Enjoyed our stay there, will stay again there.

Rooms were great, pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. In the while the staff were friendly and helpful. The servers in the bar/restaurant/breakfast were pretty hit and miss though. A mixture of indifferent, rude or pleasant. Other than that it was a great place to stay. Was there almost a week and had no major issues.

The hotel has been renovated since I was here a few years ago. The rooms are quite nice. The rooms have an ironing board, iron, 32 inch LED TV, microwave, fridge, clock radio and Keurig coffee maker. The only thing missing is an in room safe. The majority of the parking is covered. There is also a nice indoor pool and hot tub. The restaurant in the hotel is not bad… say 3.5 out of 5. Not too far from downtown or the airport. Close to shopping. There is a Safeway grocery store across the street. The staff was quite courteous and pleasant. They should really look at adding an in room safe to the rooms to be rated higher than a 4 out of 5.

Very Clean, Quiet and Accommodating Hotel. Staff were very pleasant, polite and wanted to go above and beyond to make our one night stay memorable. I don't recall staying anywhere else where this has ever happened. Would definitely stay here again — thank you to all the staff, you were great!

Hotel staff was very kind and courteous. The room was very nice and well kept. However, you can hear any and ALL noise that is made in the hallway. Also, the lobby seemed very packed with people who didn’t appear to be guests. There were also people loitering in front of the hotel and in the parking garage which made me feel slightly uncomfortable. We’ve stayed in hotels for the past 6 days, while traveling, and this was the first to also issue safety tips, which made me feel like there were multiple incidents previously that had occurred. Also, the parking is very tight and not very well thought through. This is not the place for oversized vehicles/trailers.

Very nice hotel. Very clean rooms. We were needing a pet friendly hotel, and the Holiday Inn was great for that. Very considerate of pets when cleaning the room. If you bring a cat, they can fit in a space under the vanity beside the sink! Just about tossed the whole room trying to find where he was hiding…

I only stayed for 1 night but it seems like a decent hotel. Clean rooms, recent facelift by the looks of it, restaurant and lounge in the lobby. Lots of nearby amenities from what I saw. I'd stay here again.

Located on a busy street, but with it's own parking garage. Hotel is well kept and the room was perfect. Clean, fresh, and comfortable bed. Only one thing that I was disappointed about was that breakfast wasn't included, though the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Nice facility. Clean, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. The pool area looks dated but the whirlpool was relaxing. I would appreciate if it was more accommodating to medical cannabis users, though.

It's an older building but has been modernized well enough that you can barely tell. The internet works very well, unless you like to watch YouTube on your phone… That's blocked… The on site restaurant is pretty good…

Newly renovated. Lobby open bright atmosphere. Comfortable rooms. Wide variety on their menu. Prices are a little over priced especially their burgers. In their defense a very good tasting burger. Parking is Ok!. On a scale of 1-10. I give them a 7

Nice location unfortunately heat didn't work In the room and the room door would not lock with normal door closer. Had to push and lift on door to get door lock to latch.

It's a lot like a holiday Inn I stayed in once. Because they're chains. Rooms seem clean. Staff seem nice. Barkeep was nice. What more do you want?

The restaurant and conference rooms sit or needs for our recent perfectly, and we are looking forward to a successful event.

Friendly staff, comfy beds and within walking distance of several fine restaurants. Its not as good as the Delta, but its also not as expensive. I would stay again.

I stayed at this hotel during a work conference, with a group of my colleagues. I checked out of the hotel, attended my meetings throughout the day and realized that I accidentally forgot my textbook in my room before checking out (I realize this is my fault, and not the fault of the hotel's) and I called to see if it was turned in to their lost and found so I could come pick it up. I was told that they did not have my book (I am 100% sure I left it in the room, on the bed) but they would check the room again and call me back. They called me back and informed me they still could not find my book, but their GM would reimburse me for the cost of it. This was unexpected, but appreciated, but did not solve the problem that I knew my textbook was in the room and I needed it to complete homework for the week). A few minutes later, the GM phones me and essentially lectures me on how most people who "lose" things actually packed them in their bags and just aren't finding them. I let him know that I ripped apart my bags twice and guaranteed it was not there. He said there was nothing he could do until I was home and confirmed this. Frustrated, I hung up, but accepted that ultimately it was my responsibility to have my belongings with me. I don't even know why he called me, except to belittle me for losing my book. Seven minutes later, I receive another phone call.

Just visiting a family member who would come in to Winnipeg. Very clean lobby nice rooms hands very nice to be in a location that isn't around the airport. Residential setting makes it very relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean, the employees were kind and efficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good restaurant. Good people. Free parking, in the parkade. Next to a couple banks and a grocery store.

My workplace holiday party is held here every year. The bar tenders are always funny and friendly, the food is always amazing too. The rooms are well taken care of from what I can see.

We love staying at the Holiday Inn South; it is just a perfect get away. The prices make it easy to sneak away for a night to ourselves. The beds are SO comfortable, and the pillow menu really works with my level of pickiness. The staff are ALL kind and confident, from the people who change the towels at the pool to the GM, everyone is so professional and focused. The pool is always clean, the playroom is in great shape and the fact that I can order a game of Clue or Monopoly up to my room is so neat.
Thanks for another magical weekend! See you all again soon!

Newly renovated holiday in with good lobby and restaurant/bar. The bartender seems very lost at times but she's a nice person and does her best. The staff is friendly, rooms are reasonably clean and up to date. Gym is decent. Free parking and Wi-Fi. Really no complaints, I stay here whenever I'm visiting for work.

Over the passed few years, I’ve stayed at this hotel to do Christmas shopping, medical trips, relaxation, etc. The people at check in are super friendly and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The loung/dining area is a different story. The meals and drinks are expensive when the quality of service is not there. A certain server who has been there for quite sometime, lacks initiative of promptly serving customers. She will stop and talk to another co-worker, or customer or disappear knowing she has people waiting to be servered. This happens every time I’ve stayed at this hotel. My patience has run out. For this reason, I will no longer be booking with this hotel. I will be booking with Canad’s Inn down the street to get speedy and appreciated service.

I were in this hotel for a seminar which was held in the conference room in 2nd floor. It was a clean and quite place with nice staff. No idea about rooms and food.

An excellent hotel in Winnipeg. Stunning views, especially in the fall. Very well lit, these rooms will make you feel glad to wake up. A favorite local retreat, and an ideal place for visitors. Nice large desks in the King suites to allow you to work.

We had a voucher for a free night at the hotel and it was great to just check out and walk out the door without any charges. Had breakfast at Eno and the food was delicious and fresh. Clean room and friendly staff made for a great stay.

Rooms are neat and tidy. Room service kinda slow. Buffet good if you don't want to go out somewhere.

Very clean and convenient location for my stay. Close to the university. Great amenities and friendly, professional staff. I would recommend this for anyone staying in the South.

It's an awesome place to stay. I just wish the pool for kids are bigger and has slides. But overall experience is good. I use their fitness center and it's pretty clean and has enough equipment.

We had a nice stay. We had breakfast twice but when you travel with family, continental breakfast would be nice, huge saving. Only negative point. Rooms and pool was great.

We went there for their prime rib buffet and it was delicious! It wasn't too busy so we were able to get the cuts we wanted and the food was fresh and tasty. Our waitstaff was very friendly and attentive as well. I would go again for sure!

Attended a one-day business seminar at the Holiday Inn South on Jun3 7, 2017. Great facility, clean, tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly. Especially appreciated ample available parking near the door. First class.

Our room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, service staff were great, but price of room was too expensive, especially considering that there was not a complimentary breakfast!

It was a great experience. They accommodated us when there was barely any vacancies around Pembina area. The hotel was nice and clean. The kids loved the pool. I enjoyed the room very much. I would recommend it to others and I would love to stay there again sometime soon.

Had a very nice stay! Clean and comfortable. There was a tournament in town so the elevator was slow with the kids coming and going. Needs a parking upgrade! We have a full size truck and couldn't go on the other levels to park. Lots of pillars and small spaces. Staff was very pleasant and helpful!

Rooms and lobby areas are quite nice. The buffet breakfast want that great, I expected a bit more in terms of quality and choice.

We had a very good time at holiday inn Winnipeg south. All the staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the pool and life play area.

We escaped the fort mcmurray wildfire where we lost our house. We're driving back east to nova Scotia. After 18 hours of driving me my 8 month pregnant gf and 3 dogs needed a place to stay. Out of all the hotel's this one here let us stay no questions asked discounted rate and didn't discriminate on what type of dogs we have (2 doxies and 1 rednose pitbull). Gave us a late check out of when ever we woke up. Thank you don't even describe how much we appreciate it.

Excellent! Everything about this hotel was amazing from the room to the the food and the excellent staff. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again.

Decent rooms, terrible Wi-Fi, expensive restaurant but overall good to stay overnight in.

Nice big room. Have microwave, mini fridge. Gym has pretty good equipment. Too bad there is no dumbell. Breakfast is awesome. Swimming pool is a bit small but has kid's pool and whirlpool. Excellent location, close by lots of stores and restaurants. It's under renovation, so the front desk is really messy. Highly recommended!

Central location. Very nice new renovated rooms. And the rest if the hotel is undergoing full renovations.

Put do not disturb sign on door so I could rest only to be phoned by housekeeping asking if I want the room cleaned! No rest at this hotel and I had surgery and was trying to heal! I didn't even mention the dirty toilet noticed as soon as we got there and the eyepatch on the floor from some previous guest! Forget the construction we knew about but no mention of shutting water off when we booked. Saddest of all the beds are high and uncomfortable to sit on, I couldn't climb into bed after the surgery so I asked for a cot but only if I rented one! I wouldn't need to rent one if the bed was a reasonable height. Worst hotel experience of my life. Oh and a protest in the front of the building. People double parked in the garage.

My wife and I got married here. Love the service and the staff. Didn't sleep much but the room was nice!

Great hotel. Unfortunately under renovation however will be even better when done. Rooms were quiet and super comfy.
