We were a crew of 6 out for a sled trip/stag. It was great we had 2 rooms and everyone had their own queen size bed. The breakfast options and quality were great, had a friend with different allergies and he ate just aswell as we did. The lunches they packed us for on the hill were more then filling (wraps, dessert squares and a small thermos of hearty beef vegetable one day and chilly the other). Supper was steaks one night and pizza and wings the next tho we booked in tow…n and missed out. They also made us a birthday cake for one of the boys They have this custom dryer for everyone to hang your gear one once you get back. Pure genius and works like a dam.
They have a hot tub right out the back door of the cabin, we may have pushed the capacity with 6 of us, but it hit the spot. Was definitly soar after riding so I hit it at night and the next morning while I had my coffee waiting for the crew to get moving. They reminded us that we were on holidays and made sure we felt like we were

We stayed here for the first time this weekend.
The place is beautiful. The hosts were awesome.
They have a dog named Revy who is adorable.
The beds were comfortable
They have a 4 year old daughter who has such a great sense of life and laugh.
The other guests were all really great to talk p and eat with.
EVERY meal was delicious. I mean delicious.
Justina and Kevin, the hosts were awesome! I mean awesome.
Stay out of the kitchen… Haha!

We had the nicest time! The owners are about the sweetest and nicest people you will ever meet! The only bad thing I have to say and that we couldn’t stay longer! Definitely recommend staying here.

A jewel of Valemount. During the 2017/2018 winter season I've brought/introduce many people to Cougar mountain lodge. The down side. Booking for 2018/2019 season they're full (for the days I'd like to booke). Stay once and you'll become a regular. For a sledder… there's a drying room, a spereate out building with a kitchenette, couches, washroom, and TV. A hot tub. The host, Justina and Kevin Trach provide a warm family friendly environment. Kevin's cooking is top shelf.

Above and beyond. The B&B offers gorgeous, spacious rooms, with a large common area and huge garden to enjoy — complete with garden furniture and a hot tub. Kevin and Justina are amazing hosts — they will do anything to make you more comfortable or make you enjoy your stay in the area even better. You’ll feel at home instantly. Don’t think about morning snacking or an early lunch, the breakfast at this B&B is simply amazing (fresh, homemade, cooked before you, and enormous! ). The menu choice for breakfast is unique and simply great. We loved the area — and stayed 5 nights. Around Valemount the biggest attraction has to be mount robson — the walk up to Kinney lake is a must. We also hiked around the area — Mica mountain (a very tough walk), and little lost lake (a nice easier walk). We spent two days in Jasper — around an hours drive away, but allow around 1hours20mins as you’ll be slowing down to appreciate the awesome views or looking for wildlife. We dined in Valemount at the local caribou grill, happy panda Chinese and riverside cafe and would recommend them all. This B&B has everything you need.

We started staying at the Cougar Lodge B&B in 2017 while we work in Valemount BC. Justina and Kevin have made us comfortable, fed us beautifully and made our busy lives so much easier during our working stops in Valemount. We will continue to stay at the Cougar Lodge in Valemount every time we go there for work or play.

Great place to stay Fantastic good Treated like family and feels like home.

Awesome place to stay. Great food! Love not getting sick from eating places, very good at dealing with food allergies. (Celiac) Cozy home friendly and helpful hosts. A wonderful place to stay on a sledcation or just an over nighter.

Thanks to Google for returning this gem. On short notice (5.5 hrs) I was lucky to find a room anywhere let alone a place as nice as this. The cozy home away from home is a true reflection of the owners themselves. Kevin & Justina have a history of hard work with attention to detail. Highly organized people with strong morals & ethics. Clean & professional in the most comfortable & relaxing way.
