Lots of potential but very lacking in the basics that you would expect from over 100 dollars a night. Front desk was polite and respectful making check in easy The cleaning staff must be getting minimum wage and worked to the bone. I found that the general presentation was okay but on closer look the room was filthy. Behind anything was months of dirt. The bathroom was clean but the tub was stained and didn't look clean. I didn't adventure to the"spa" or anything else. In the end I slept in my clothes. Will definitely not staying again, would rather sleep in my truck. They need to do a harsh cleaning of these rooms if they want any repeat guests.

The owners are extremely nice and really bend over backwards to make your stay great. We care here after refusing to stay at a scam property, and they did everything from open up a kitchen for us to getting us a larger table for a family dinner. I’ve stayed over 400 hotel nights in the last five years, and even though this isn’t a fully decked hotel (none to be found in the area), it really covers all the necessities: power plugs by the bed, clean, duvets (not those cheap disgusting yellow blankets), and fresh towels. It’s very reasonably priced for the area, and I’ll return here next time I’m in town.

This is an old property undergoing renovation so I gave it an extra star. Brand new vinyl plank flooring, new light fixture, shower heads, TV and a small fridge with a real freezer so we could refreeze our ice packs. Beds were hard but the room was clean. Sauna and hot tub closed for repair and a big pallet of renovation materials lead me to believe that this property will be even better next time. Just try not to get room 126 as it is right beside the stairs and it was noisy when people we're going up and down.

If you have any other choices of hotels, do not stay here. They advertise pet friendly, but there is nowhere to indicate that you are bringing a dog. Upon arrival, we were charged more than the price I was given after booking. Once in the room, the internet did not work. I contacted them about it, and the owner argued with me that it did work. He came by, couldn't get it working and then left, and it was never addressed again. Our windows did not lock — there was a stick wedged in to keep it from opening. Then the advertised indoor pool and sauna was down for maintenance. Looking in the window — it looked like it had been that way for a while. I would be hard pressed to give this place one star.

Room was clean and newly renovated. Hot tub was down which made me a little sad.

The owners and staffs were very nice! Rooms were clean and fully renovated. Had a good stay and definitely will come back again.

Good place, helpful lady at front desk. Clean rooms. Mini fridge. Decent parking space. Good for sledding trips etc.

Stayed one night, top corner unit. Really dated, but well stocked. Partial renovations have been done. Bathroom has nice tile floor and the shower is really good. Sink water pressure was weak though. Beds were not bad, soft and comfortable. Staff is super friendly. Toilet paper was folded and the soaps were all laid out artfully like an upscale place. Definitely would stay here again. Recently renovated room. Great bed and shower. Helpful staff. Wifi only works in reception. Not many channels on the TV.

The only reason I chose this place was because there were no other vacancies in Jasper or in this town since it was the long weekend. We got there around midnight since we were in Jasper all day. The woman at the front was nice, said she was concerned we weren't coming due to an accident but then the man who I am assuming is her husband came out and kept going on about how we didn't call them to tell them what time we were coming and that we have to call them. This is a hotel, I payed for the room, I don't have to let you know what time I will be home like he was my parent. Then he kept saying that he charged my card and it kept coming up declined even though I payed with the same card. He was a total ass. His wife kept telling him that it didn't matter because I payed already but he kept going on about how we didn't call. The woman said the room was recently reno'd which from other reviews about a carpet means that they took the carpet out. Other then that the place was pretty dirty. Stains on my bed sheets, luckily I bought a blanket and pillow from home. The side of box springs were covered in stains. The air conditioner was close to the ceiling. I had to stand on a chair to switch it on and I'm 5'9 so I don't know how someone shorter would reach it. We stayed two days and had a had two different guests stay above us and all you can hear is people pacing around all night. My boyfriend tried calling the front desk to complain but no one would pick up the phone.

I wanted to give them money in exchange for a room. They are in the business of renting rooms and I needed a room so I thought it would be a most perfect arrangement. That was a very hard concept for the hotel to grasp, however after an exhausting conversation I convinced them to take my money. I have a fairly dry sense of humour and even I had a hard time sorting out what they found so funny about my proposal. I did respect the fact that they were not trying to hide their laughter, and were openly (visually and audibly) laughing towards me. I may have read it all wrong though, maybe they were simply trying to impart some happiness into my day, although there seems to be a more tactful way to go about that. I cannot comment on the quality of the rooms, as I did not stay in the room, it was for another person. The reviews of this place are generally fairly poor, but I was not fussy as this was one of the last available rooms. I was also not concerned with the lack of cleanliness as I myself was not staying in the room, and thought the person staying in the room would put up with some toe nails, hair, and a maybe a little VD hiding in the carpet or under the door handle vs. The alternative which was under a deciduous tree on the boulevard. Now I should note that the toe nails, hair, and VD was not actually tested to confirm its identity. So while similar in appearance, it may have something much more mundane. Like maybe a skin tag or sauce from someones taco.

Stayed in a a bottom floor room with a king bed. Comfortable with soft pillows. Recently tore out carpet and put down laminate flooring. Nicely done. Great for a night. Convenient place and quiet quaint spot. Great views. Close to food & gas. Thanks for reservation.

Staff were very friendly at check-in and made sure we were squared away. Room was cozy and comfortable. 4/5 based on beds being a little hard and not the best sleep. Would stay again.

I had a very good experience at Alpine Inn! I have two dogs and I was able to bring my babies with me because they have pet friendly rooms. And the lady there is a very sweet person. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good place to stay away from home.

Had the pleasure of staying here during the May Long Weekend. The staff were incredibly friendly and the accommodations exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be coming back during future visits to the area. Great value for the amount your spending. Would highly recommend.

On my way to Banff jasper I had to stop by vale mount bc because of the far drive from the lower mainland. Stoping at Kamloops takes too long the next day. I had a few choices but I'm glad I chose alpine inn. The owners were incredibly nice with great service the Internet was kind of slow but all of the hotels have slow Wi-Fi in that region. The swimming pool and hot tub is free as well for 85 dollars it's a good deal. Plus they had rooms for pets and larger rooms for upgrades.

Worst place we ever stayed, poor lighting, light bulbs missing bathroom, no kleenex in room, felt dingy, went to pub for dinner, food was awful, would not advise people to stay here.

Extremely stinky room that made it hard to sleep and gave me a headache, outdated decor, no soap in the bathroom, hard bed with no pillow top, no breakfast included, less than 10 TV channels with blurry reception, decrepit pool/hot tub, and the pool was ice cold. Disappointed : (
