Absolutely loved our time here. My only complaint—it was too short. Next time we will stay longer. It was the perfect weekend getaway for my hubby and I. Peaceful. Beautiful. Relaxing.

I spent three nights by myself at one of the cabins, and it was a special time for me. Elke was my host, and she was very pleasant and friendly. The cabin was well-cleaned and maintained, and the Rocky Mountain environment was a beautiful setting to have some peaceful solitary time. I recommend them for your vacation experience, and I will be happy to return once more.

The absolute most perfect and beautiful getaway We stayed in the Bear cabin, and cannot say enough about it. Clean, well stocked, breathtaking views, beautiful little fire pit, and secluded enough away from the other two cabins, that privacy and noise was never an issue. Absolutely loved staying at this lovely little cabin. Elke was the sweetest host as well. She always made sure we had what we needed without invading our privacy, and was so helpful to let us know the best places to go sightseeing and do fun activities! We will be coming back to Elke’s cabins for sure. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Thank you for a perfect place to bring in the New Year! We had a lovely time being cozy inside while watching snow fall. It was a magical winter wonderland. We loved the huge window looking out to the mountains. Perfect to sit, read, write and be replenished by the beauty of nature.

We have spent the beginning of December, 14 days in the beautiful Mica Cabin. The direct views of the mountains, the beautifully decorated Cabin and the valuable Tips from Elke to the environment & trip these holidays have made goals for us a memorable one. It was great & we will certainly come back again.

We keep coming back here because of the peace, quiet, and views of the mountains. It’s out of town yet close enough to have all the mod cons within a reasonable drive. The cabins are cozy, comfortable, and spotless. Elke is friendly, trustworthy and proud of her property. We are already planning when we can return for our 4th visit.

A beautiful and quiet retreat, the perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the world for a little while. The whole experience was perfect, there is a lot of love and care in these cabins. The owners clearly care deeply about what they do, and it shows!

We stayed in Bear Cabin for three nights and loved it. Cozy little cabin. Awesome views. Loved sitting on the porch with our morning coffee and our evening beverages. Nice to have the fire pit as well. Great for two people — the bed was very comfortable. The search for a comfortable pull out sofa bed continues though, for a third person or couple. So many wonderful day hikes in the area as well. A real gem, all in all.

The cabin are delightful. Awesome views, comfortable and well appointed. Elke keeps the cabins in immaculate condition and a tour with Juergen in the Ranger is an unforgettable experience. If you want to get away from the hubbub of life yet still have all the comforts of home, this is the place! I have already booked for another stay next year.

Although I found the cabin neat and cozy, a spectacular view. I found the Elke to be lacking in her customer service skills especially when she insulted me upon leaving. She took it upon herself to remove one of my personal items from the cabin while I was gone. She should have spoken directly to me about the item. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. When I emailed her to explain my displeasure she responded with more insults and did not acknowledge nor apologize for the way she treated this guest of hers! Kind of like going to a restaurant and the meal was fabulous but your server was rude. Makes you not return regardless of how good the food is, The owner continues to belittle me and lie about the situation on her Facebook review page. She continues to show poor business sense and has even threatened to take me to court for lying. I do still have her note and all the emails she sent me that prove otherwise.

This place is absolute paradise! I have visited these cabins since the year 2000 and Elke deserves a hospitality award for creating and maintaining a slice of heaven on earth.

I can only comment on the cabins. The ATV tours were fully booked during our stay. There are three cabins that are relatively close together, but dense forest provides plenty of privacy. The cabins are simple and cozy, as advertised. The Southwest facing deck has a covered seating area and a lovely mountain view. Perfect for watching the sunset. There is also a fire pit and picnic table nearby. Great for roasting marshmallows The bed is comfortable, bathroom clean and functional, and the kitchen made it easy for us to prep food for the next leg of our trip. Wi-Fi is available near the office, but not in the cabins. No big deal for us, but be warned. It's all the little things like the deck view, fire pit and generous host that makes this destination 5 stars.

We absolutely loved our stay here. So much so, we are torn about sharing information because we'd like to keep it a secret to ourselves. However, I have appreciated previous guest's comments, so will chime in and share details of this beautiful find. We had the Mica Cabin, which we found to be a dream, it was so perfect. The views are breath-taking, both day and night. We respect and appreciate all the work that goes into making this place to beautiful, sound, and spotlessly clean. The Mica Cabin is comfortable and spacious for two people. The bed (Queen) is comfortable and cozy. The kitchen has the coolest one-unit stove-top (two burners), fridge (with tiny freezer) and sink. There is a coffee pot, tea kettle, toaster and microwave. There is a large kitchen table for eating/playing card games. The living room is spacious with a large chesterfield (pulls out into a bed) and comfortable armchair looking over Mica Mountain (and others). There is a TV (satellite feed), but we never switched it on. How can you when you have such amazing scenery around you? There is also a cast iron "stove" that provides ambient lighting as if you had a real fire. The washroom is spotless and spacious. It has a full size tub for bathers, and seems to have unlimited hot water for showers. There are windows that open, and baseboard electric heaters if it gets chilly. The front porch was where we spent our time, on comfortable, sturdy furnishings that had the most amazing views.

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay, it was so peaceful and so beautiful. Perfect cabin and location as well as the owners were so friendly and helpful. The view of the mountains were beautiful, I liked the privacy location as well. I recommend these cabins to everyone, thanks again! Will be back soon!

Beautiful cabin in an amazing location. Has everything you need and is very clean. Also very private. The hosts are really friendly and welcoming. (And the dogs are too! ). Would love to go back sometime.

Stayed here three nights during our honeymoon. Went to a lot of nice places, some 3~4x the price. This is still the place we talk about most often. Quaint. Wonderful people who themselves became part of our trip story. Away from it all. Private. Relaxed. Beautiful scenery out your from porch. Wonderful restaurant down the road (Riverside Cafe). What else do you need?

Great friendly owners; cute and cozy cabin; beautiful "rustic" interior; small but fully functional kitchenette (no oven) stocked with cookware/dishes; amazing winter views of snow covered mountains, woods, and wildlife (whitetail deer) ; good privacy (you CAN see the other cabins if you look really hard, but most of the time it just feels like you're alone in the deep woods) although shared cabin parking area. Very reasonable rates. Convenient 20 minute drive into town with many tourist amenities, dining, and easy shopping for groceries and essentials. Only possible drawback: "free Wi-Fi" not available @ the cabins themselves, but we still had full cellular/data coverage. We WILL be back for a full week next time.

The most amazing place we've been to in the mountains! We've stayed at Alpine Village in Jasper, but NOTHING compares to Mica Mountain lodge and cabins. So peaceful and the view is absolutely stunning not to mention the incredibly reasonable price to stay here. We didn't want to leave. We will definitely come back again and again! Great hospitality and knowledge of the area as well!

So absolutely in love with Mica Mountain Lodge! It was so worth the 6 hour drive. The cabin was amazing and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. It surpassed our expectations! We will be back! Would highly recommend this place to anyone:)

My wife and I stayed in the Pine Cabin here at Mica Mt Lodge in summer of 2010. What a fantastic place! Cabins are well spaced for privacy, best we have seen! Cabin itself was just beautiful and lots of room, very comfortable. The deck outside was just excellent to lounge on and enjoy the wonderful sounds of nature at our doorstep and beautiful view of Mica Mountain! You are surrounded by many mountain ranges. Was wonderful to enjoy well sitting by your private fire pit! Our hosts were just excellent! Service is outstanding, just the best friendly service one could ask for and very helpful! We also did the ATV tour on our 3rd day there which was just an outstanding experience for us! We were truly away from civilization when you follow your guide onto the mountain trails on your ATV. Stopped at beautiful trapper cabins, streams, for tea break, views that were just all so majestic and peaceful! Wildlife viewing! We didn't want to leave! Was truly heaven! Don't forget your camera! We spent quite a few hours out there and was probably the highlight of our 3 week trip through the Canadian Rockies! We spent 4 nights there and cannot wait to return hopefully someday soon! I cannot speak more highly of our hosts though, they were of excellent help and company! Many sights to see around there including the wonderful Mount Robson and Moose Lk. Many hiking trails, Valemount, a little town just south/west of the lodge. Highly recommend 5 stars! We will be back.
