Excellent services with fun to have indoor pool.

Had a good stay in this hotel. Acceptable size of room for 6 of us, free breakfast and with indoor pool that our kids enjoyed.

I would recommend staying at the sandman hotel if you are looking for accommodations in squamish. The rooms where clean updated, hotel staff very friendly and the pool was great. Our kids loved the pool, hot tub and slide. (husband was on the slide more than the kids) … overall great weekend can't wait to come back when it warms up.

Location is great, just off the highway, nothing much around it except for some construction as the area is being developed. Hotel is new, very clean with nice rooms. Breakfast was basic, toast, cereal, yogurt etc. The hotel has a nice pool with a slide that my kids loved… but here lies a problem. There is no attendant for the slide, kids come down too quickly at times and hit the kid below, or kids don't move out of the way, or come down the slide in pairs etc. I stayed one night, yet seen 3 kids get banged heads and I removed my kids from the area completely on 2 occasions. The shower in the room was good, hot and powerful, TV was big and the fridge was perfect. Would stay again.

Great place and comfortable. But they don't change the sheets for blankets or for pillow the next day. I'm guessing it's only when the next guest comes in. Other than that, great place to stay overnight.

Great service. We were able to get a early check-in so it made our plans for the day so much easier. Rooms are clean. Love staying at the sandman.

Very nice and quiet place. Front desk. Staff are very accomodating. Breakfast is just okay for being a free breakfast. I will give one more star if they can put vending machines in the 3rd Floor.

Exceptionally hospitable staff helped make our stay in Squamish as easy as possible. As a larger group of about a dozen individuals travelling around BC with our work, we were happy to have a comfortable place to stay, our rooms in close proximity, laundry services, Internet, and a basic breakfast. Although the hotel isn't exactly close to some amenities, that did mean the nights were quite. Besides the tub being too small to relax in (hot tube was out of order) I would say my stay has been great. Thank you.

Stayed here on a business trip. Room was great. Didn't have enough time to use the pool! Very close to everything we needed. Only downside is the continental breakfast was terrible. There were only 2 options for food. Several day old bread and cereal. There was one yogurt left in the fridge, and nothing else except coffee tea and juice. This was at 8AM. We ended up going to Tim Hortons for breakfast because there was nothing to eat at this continental breakfast.

Large room. Great waterslide in pool area. Breakfast was pretty basic. Fruit, bagel and toast. Free parking. Free Wi-Fi.

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool was great. Breakfast was okay. Will come back.

Great place to stay or have a conference in Squamish. Excellent location within walking distance to shopping, Tim Hortons etc. Seconds to highway 99. Very quiet and private location.

Our hockey team stayed here for a tournament over family day weekend. Hotel was nice enough but the night staff, especially the manager, were very unreasonable. On our first night they tried to kick our kids out of the pool an hour early. They said it was hotel policy. It says nothing about this on their website or around the pool and wasn't mentioned at check-in. They did quickly print up a sign and tape it to the pool door though. Seems they don't large groups of children or having a full hotel.

It was a great Sandman to stay at, close to a lot of shops and places to eat but in a incredibly quiet location. The room was simple and tasteful with basic amenities. The one thing I wish that they had in the room was a kettle, there is hot water available in the breakfast room, however it is rather awkward to go grab a cup of tea when you're coming from the third floor and through the lobby. The service staff were helpful and friendly, everything was immaculate for cleanliness and the pool area with the fitness center nearby were wonderful, I recommend the water slide as well.

Clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The hotel doesn't have much to offer in the way of foods though. They serve breakfast for 3 hours and that's it. If people make noise in the hallway (of which we had possibly 6000 children running around playing a game of football) then they might as well be inside your room. Very noisy.

This is a clean, basic hotel with a nice pool and water slide. We love that it's pet friendly. The contenental breakfast is simple, but does the trick.

Very nice new-ish three level hotel just off the highway in Squamish near the Wal-Mart. The rooms are well appointed except the TV didn't have good resolution and the breakfast didn't have any hot food in it. Perfectly satisfactory.

Great experience. Nice room, reasonable rates, complimentary continental breakfast, and a pool with water slide. Everything I could ask for.

This hotel location is very good: near the Squamish Walmart, Home Depot, Mamquam river, Squamish river, and Brennan park recreation center. After the owner was changed, the building was totally renovated and now has good swimming pool, weight room, dining room, and etc.

This is a beautiful hotel. The guest services are awesome. The rooms are spacious and modern. Management addresses any problems you have right away. We love the pool and the breakfast bar is DELICIOUS! Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Probably the best hotel in Squamish.

Relatively clean but thin-ish walls. I got upgraded to a larger suite so that was nice and spacious. Front desk needs work in that their service level is way below par.

Nice place. Clean room. Air conditioning. Refrigerator and microwave. Bed was a little hard but pillows we're nice. Breakfast was decent. Very similar to Holiday inn in the US.

Work has been putting me up here whenever I work in Squamish and it's great! I absolutely love the comfy beds and the pillows. I always have a great sleep. The rooms are clean and the front desk staff are friendly!

This hotel is a standout! We arrived 4 hours early and they immediately upgraded the room and checked us in! Breakfast was included and lots to choose from. Room was large and clean and we really enjoyed it. The young lady on reception was efficient, friendly, well trained and very capable. If you judge a hotel by first impressions — she ensures that you will enjoy your stay here. Five stars for the entire stay. Thank you.

Location is good. Staff was amazing. Room was great. Bathroom was great. Parking was great. Breakfast was not good. Very little choices. But overall it was a good experience.

My mom and I stayed here for one night before an 11k trail race at Alice Lake Park. The hotel is beautiful! Clean and spacious rooms, a wonderful view of the mountains (especially if you're in a front facing room), friendly staff and a great pool complete with hot tub and super awesome waterslide. The only thing they need is a waffle maker!

The room was great, staff was friendly and helpful, pool and slide was awesome but I kept missing the breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.

We had the executive suite, very nice and cozy chairs placed in front of the fire place. Clean, friendly staff, breakfast looked good but I wanted something different so we eat else where. Very reasonable price for the room, the pool was nice, a little cold but once you're in it it's fine and the hot tub too but it wasn't big enough for all the adults that seemed to prefer it over the pool. Towels were very hard and rough, plenty of them but too small. I didn't mind so much as they provide a nice large bath robe which you take to the pool. All in all we had a lovely stay. We will be going back. Oh and one more thing, the room needed more lighting.

Not impressed. The staff were discourteous, the air conditioner in my room didn't work (for heat nor A/C) and the hot tub and pool were frigid. My 3 year old was blue and complaining of rashes and having issues breathing. A combination of a cold hot tub with a ridiculous amount of chlorine were to blame. We were told "uhh… we'll just don't just the hot tub because we've already received complaints". So maybe fix it or at least put up a sign? I won't be coming back there for our yearly trip to Thomas the Tank engine and will be telling everyone I know to avoid the whole franchise like the plague.

King suites are not very well laid out or esthetic. Continental Breakfast is passable. Tv's are not hd and channel selection poor. Staff is very good.

Charged our friend a huge extra fee so our family could swim with them for a few hours. Then made us sign a waiver absolving them of liability. What was the fee for then? Unimpressed.

Very nice hotel. Clean and well kept. Fitness room is nice and they have a great pool/waterslide/hot tub. I'd recommend the Sandman if staying in Squamish.

Spacious, clean rooms at an amazing price point by American standards. Great hot tub for post whistler muscle aches.

We were unable to make it to the hotel for our reservation due to the douchebag border patrol not letting us into Canada for a speeding ticket paid late in the US five years ago, and the staff at Sandman gave us the full refund for, despite the cancellation being within a week of our reservation. Thank you, Sandman staff for being good people and taking pity on us, not kicking us when we were already down (unlike liftopia refusing to refund our whistler lift tickets, but I digress…).

The water slide was a lot of fun and the rooms were very nice and clean. Only had two washcloths in the room for whatever reason. The breakfast was glorified toast. Overall I was satisfied, close enough to Whistler to get up and go in the morning.

Nice clean hotel but some things could be improved. My room had a terrible shower head that has two useless settings. The curtains do not close so no privacy. Nice pool but it was freezing cold. Continental breakfast was just OK. The staff was very friendly so overall I enjoyed my stay.

The sandman hotel was really nice. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. I liked the location as it is close to everything and easily accessed from the highway. There was a decent size indoor swimming pool with a water slide. My only complaint really is that the pool was cold. I wasn't able to stay in for long. I recommend the hotel to people traveling to Squamish.

Room 117. Two heds and a pull out couch gym and pool. Great pleace, clean and quite.
