The hotel is not entirely up to date, in my opinion, but you can have outstanding from the hotel. Amazing neighbourhood around including Stanley Park, Coal harbour sea wall and restaurants. I would highly suggest that you to try it!

Best hotel ever most specially when it comes to accommodation my gosh they really take care of you! They even gave us a baby champagne bottle and chocolate covered strawberries and macaroons so sweet of them on our Anniversary and the staff are so friendly! This is worth your money even if it’s for a couple of days 🥰♥️

There customer service crew are more accommodating and friendly than any other hotel I've stayed with.

Great location, very clean and staff are very pleasant from reception, housekeeping to restaurant workers. We had the couples Spa as well at Vida Spa. We feel very safe, COVID-19 protocols in effect in this hotel.

Simply the most incredible views from the tower king room with harbour view. I have personally stayed in all of the Coal Harbour Waterfront hotels in a view room and none compared to this one. The hotel has had incredible mid century modern renovations and decòr. All together an amazing staycation. For from H tasting room was also fabulous. The Sunday afternoon tea was just an adorable experience.

Absolutely amazing views — brilliant staff and sooo quiet.

What can I say — the Westin does everything right. From the smell when you walk in to the exemplary service from all employees, the Westin is number 1. I have stayed at many Westins and they are always consistent. We came here for a weekend getaway and have booked next weekend here as well.

Best location! Right in Coal Harbour next to the Seawall and Stanley park. Free bike rental for hotel guests and steps to great restaurants on Robson and Denman Street. Many rooms offer harbour view.

I was fortunate to stay at your hotel, unfortunately it was only for 2 nights, it is situated in a lovely place, the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend it to anyone and hopefully I will come back one day, Vancouver is a beautiful place xx.

Looking at the reviews should have been a warning as none this year! Maybe one star is a bit harsh but extremely disappointed with this hotel, that had been booked and paid for by my travel agent in advance. Reasons for our dissatisfaction being they insisted that they wanted 80 dollars per night for possible extras, for which no advance notice was given/first room given the safe not working and view (? ) overlooked a not very nice walkway and was smelly & they would only move us to the next room with same view/they only supply one dressing gown and we found out that you have to ask for a second one even though double occupancy! /have just come back from a lovely day trip and walk along the harbour wall to find our room at 4pm not cleaned/the only place that has a hanging rail to hang clothes is in the bathroom, so all gets lovely and damp. ~ faulty towers springs to mind but without the humour… At least we only have a couple more nights here.

We have been treated absolutely wonderful. We asked for an early check-in & our room was ready at 930 am. The staff on both the front desk and in the lounge are beautiful people; we couldnt ask for a more pleasant stay. Our room was big and very clean.

I went to the Inspirational Latin Award last Thursday and I had an excellent experience. There some music, they had a delicious food. The place was well iluminated, the attenton of all the services were fenomenal. If you really want to organize an event. This hotel is well recomended. I really enjoyed. Visited for a wedding and reception. The venue was absolutely incredible with beautiful architecture and artwork, while the staff drastically exceeded expectations. They were kind and courteous, making every guest feel like a valued and important patron, while simultaneously providing excellent and efficient service. Highly recommend.

Loved it here. Whether we were hanging out in H2 for great food and drink or using the pool we always got great service and felt welcome. Perfect setting right on Coal Harbour next to the Park. See everything Vancouver’s harbour district has to offer.

Had dinner at the H2 restaurant. Food was really great and so was the service. Prix-fix menu was a great deal at $60. Loved the live music and relaxed vibe of the lounge. Would definitely come back again.

Vancouver is an expensive town. That being said, this was a beautiful and friendly hotel. The view from our room was beautiful. The outdoor setting for lunch overlooking the pool was great on a summer day. Greatest location in central downtown on the bay. Staff is friendly and prompt.

Dined at H2 and was given the star treatment. We sat in the outdoor gazebo which had ample shade and was quiet even though it was right near the pool and the Seawall. The dinner special was a great value, and they give large portions even for shared items. The rotisserie chicken is the special here and that's what I recommend. Friendly staff and accommodating for my family and child. Would dine here again!

Lovely hotel with great views of the harbour. Closest to Stanley park and right on the sea wall path. Bike and sport rentals. On site apiary so fresh honey is available daily. Local craft beers on draft available in fights at main bar. Craft classic cocktails at the lobby lounge. Large conference space.

Very clean. Well maintained. The staff I've had dealings with, to date, have been excellent. They all have a professional attitude but don't give an air of superiority. The valet, for example, has a sense of humor and wasn't chastised for it. I think employee demeanor says a lot about work environment. As for the not-so-delightful aspects… I must say it is very, very noisy. I should not be woken by the elevator throughout the night from 50' away, through multiple walls. I should be able to go about my morning routine without listening to the conversation in the hallway, all-the-while facing a dilemma of whether to use the facilities and let everyone know or simply wet myself in silence. As for the price, I must acknowledge the discounted rate. It would be unfair otherwise. The room is not a hovel, by even the furthest stretch. However, I have stayed in nicer suites at half this rooms' going rate. I feel like this is a premium of sorts for the waterfront location, of which I care very little. All-in-all, not bad.

Nice venue for a conference. I was pleasantly surprised to know they had bike storage. They also had fantastic AV and service crew. Being at the doorstep of Stanley Park is a definite bonus — being able to do a quick loop around the sea wall between sessions. The only minus was the food quality. It was lacking for such a beautiful venue and phenomenal staff.

Pretty much what you can expect from a Westin. Big rooms, wonderful beds… Some rooms have a wonderful view, some not. Very well located on the shore, it comes with a few downsides… Birds early in the morning. Like, a lot of them. And starting like at 8h00, small planes taking tourists for tours landing and taking off each 15min. If you plan to stay in bed, make sure your room is located accordingly. Crazy good concierge was able to find me a rare bottle with a few phone calls when others had failed the day before.

The entire staff was extremely agreeable and helpful. No complaints regarding the outstanding service. My friend and I stayed on the sixth floor of the hotel and we had a full view of Stanley Park. Although, the weather was not ideal at the time, it was still peaceful to gaze at the north shore mountains out of the window while still in bed. That was my favorite part of the whole room! The bathroom was clean and well kept. The soap and conditioner had a citrus, musky scent to it. I wasn't too fan of it. The shower had a rainfall shower head. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. They room had cute notes all over it to remind us to be help be more eco-friendly. We left our hotel room for two hour to have dinner and we came back to a fresh room at 10pm. Very helpful and amazing staff!

Very nice hotel on the waterfront. Two great features are the beds and very dog friendly. Go out the back door and my puppies have direct access to grass walks, off leash area within 5 minutes, and the vast Stanley park for hours of exploring.

Wonderful Hotel in a splendid setting.

The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The main entrance features a vintage Porsche that sits in front of their cocktail lounge. The lounge is based on the aviator Howard Hughes known for his extravagant lifestyle. Despite few and mediocre reviews we have it a try for a quick predinner cocktail. We arrived just as their live music started, they encourage local college talent. The acoustic set was soothing while drinking the coolest cocktail I've ever had. Their specialty drinks are unlike anything you can find elsewhere so I'd encourage you to go a little crazy and try something that scares you a bit on the menu (just like Howard Hughes would do eh? )! Service was friendly and fast. Only thing that held it back was no outdoor seating and the windows to the harbor were frosted glass so that took away some of the Vancouver charm.

Located in Coal Harbor, the restaurant at this hotel brings some exotic cocktails to Vancouver. The service is fantastic and the food is pretty good. If u go early enough there's no wait and lot of seating as not many people know about it yet. This is a good option specially since the other couple of restaurants by there get pretty packed.

The best place to stay after your wedding and relax. Don’t stay at home for your wedding night. That’s weird. They have a really nice king room with rain shower, so nice and majestic. The service was excellent too. We got complimentary champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Like I said, it was the best! Rating 5/5

Our room was beautiful. The view and central location was perfect! Renee at H2 was really patient and sweet and deserves commendation! The food was also delicious. We are vegan and the chef went out of their way to create wonderful meals for us. Overall we had a great experience here and the hotel staff was all very accommodating and friendly.

The hubby and I just spent 2 nights at the Westin Bayshore. We've stayed at downtown hotels before but this was The Best! Here's why: when they say that they are a dog-friendly hotel they really mean it! Our furry family member was warmly greeted (with treats too) by all of the Westin people… and… at no extra charge for having a dog with us… hello? who else does that? Oh ya… The hotel is great too.

Excellent service all round. The view of the sunrise from an east facing suite is worth every $. The food is incredible. Top notch tasting and selection at the on-site bar. We where on-site for a work function worth 300 guests and they hosted us without issue. The meals were amazing, the functionality of the meeting rooms was ideal and the IT services during out stay went off without a hitch. Would not hesitate to book again.

My favourite hotel in Vancouver. It has the most incredible view to wake up to, regardless of the season. The staff are helpful and friendly. The prices (most often) are not exorbitant for the location and quality of hotel. It has excellent restaurants nearby, and is a short walking distance to Coal Harbour and Downtown. Not to mention the proximity to Stanley Park. It is my hotel of choice for any visit to Vancouver.

Large hotel. Rooms are okay. Lobby is beautiful and extravagant. It's right off the water front and gives a wonderful scenic view. Everything is walking distance, so don't need a car. Definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful new bar with great style. The staff were all very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Looking forward to renting a chair by the pool during the summer (you can get bar service out there, even if you're not staying at the hotel). Nice spa as well!

This hotel is one of the more beautiful hotels in Vancouver. The location is ideal for tourists, in central downtown close to shopping and transit. The hotel has some of the most beautiful views of the North Shore and Stanley Park. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The interior is beautiful, with lovely conference rooms. I cannot comment on the rooms themselves because I was not a hotel guest, I was there briefly for a conference. Very beautiful hotel, I would consider staying here if I were a guest to Vancouver.

Attending a professional event at the Westin, it was very well organized and the people were nice. The staff very attentive as there was a problem with the room key were excused and I got a card for Starbucks which was a good detail of customer service.

Had a fabulous event, the banquet staff is awesome. Always very welcoming. In particular Chris was outstanding, he even remembered what was our requirements from the last year.
The food was excellent! One of the best banquet meals we have had so far there. Everything was delicious and tasty. The Banquet servers were very attentive.
The rooms were impeccable. Great housekeeping!
All in all it was an Awesome experience and would seriously recommend it to anyone.

Rooms were very modern and comfortable. The service staff were always very helpful and pleasant. There was a nice selection of coffee in the room. Check in took a bit too long during a peak time as there were only two staff members at the front desk. The valet staff worked very hard during a very busy event but were always polite and helpful. The Bay view was very nice and provided a nice view of the shore, boats, and pool. The elevators were always quick without much wait. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin and everything could be heard from other rooms, including the room phones. It made me question privacy at times and also made it difficult to sleep.

Stunning location on the water near downtown Vancouver. Beautiful lobby and shops area. Recently renovated. Very close to Vancouver’s famous Stanley Park and all of its beaches, green spaces and walking trails. Also close to Denman Street’s funky and eclectic shops and restaurants. Great attentive service.

The staff are so friendly and professional. The rooms are always so clean and cozy… have stayed here 3 different times and will always come back… the view from the rooms are amazing and the walk around the area is breath taking, so much to enjoy.

Attended a workshop in the beautiful International Suite. The building and views are very impressive and service is top class. Location is somewhat outside the core of Downtown proper (in Coal Harbour) but still in easy reach of most amenities & attractions and may actually have more of a 'Vancouver feel' being so close to the seawall & Stanley Park.

I came here for a conference and was lucky enough to also have a room here as well. It was really convienient and I loved my room. The food for the conference was exceptionally good and the layout of the banquet rooms was easy to navigate. Highly recommend.

Stayed here during a conference. Views were such a treat. My wife and I went on a boat cruise one evening. Boat docks just outside the hotel which is incredibly convenient! Would happily stay again.

Good but the breakfast is very expensive! 35 Canadian USD per person. Outside there are cafeterias where you can have breakfast.

The location is excellent including the view, the service and the attention of the staff is very good, many things to visit in the surroundings.

Place was physically very nice/fancy but when I pay $540 a night I would expect to be able to use the internet, they charge $15 to connect to it (don't know if there are more fee's, I saw that and said screw it-I'll be without) and $40 to park for the night as well. One of my big issues in Vancouver was finding a hotel with a high enough parking garage, the sign says 6'8" (note the garage has 2 sections, one that says parking for Westin and one that says other companies names, specifically the Westin area is 6'8" the other section is like 9' something) and I'm driving a '17 Tacoma Pro with a 2" lift on 31's and had no problems with their garage. In the room the beds were excellent and view was awesome. Very nice shower and toilet. Very nice board walk all the way around the hotel. Not sure if it's something related to the area or just the hotel but the cell service in the room was quite poor.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The bed was really comfortable and view over the harbor was amazing. I could watch the floatplanes take off all day. The hotel restaurant, H2 was above average. Perhaps the most pleasant surprise was the shower, raining liquid relaxation from the ceiling.

Good hotel but far from great. The hotel decor is dated but what really lets it down is the service from the staff, particularly around the pool. Also, the hotel has a conference centre so can be very busy and difficult to get a seat by the pool. There are about 40 recliners but six of them have constant "reserved" signs on which were empty the whole time. How to make hotel residents feel special.

I traveled for the 2017 Toastmasters Convention. I arrived a day early due my mistake in booking. The staff found a room and offered a harbour view for a reasonable fee. I loved the view of the water. The room was very comfortable and clean. The rainfall shower was nice. The walkway along the seawall went to the Convention Center which was convenient. The cost was a little high though is the downfall. The food was great as well.

Great stay all around. Check-in was delayed but they changed our room to an equivalent room so no issue. Complimentary bikes was an amazing benefit, and the younger guy managing those was really nice and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. No free parking but there is a cheap lot off the street about a block or two away.

An excellent Westin. Great views of the harbor. Free piano near the lobby for anyone to play. They have an good restaurant, a Starbucks and an tour company. Staff are friendly and efficient. Parking is through a valet service.

We just stayed there 2 nights ago. We were coming off from a Princess Alaskan Cruise with 3 other couples.
We had this layover so we could catch a 6:30 AM flight out to Minniapolis. We were very impressed with the lovely room and beautiful bathroom with walkin shower and rainforest shower. Towels were enormous!
The beds were very comfortable. Our room was not ready at noon but after a half hour they gave us another one so we could freshen up. The desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ate at the. Rotisserie and had delicious salmon tacos and local beer. After a delightful tour of the city we came back for happy hour but we're told it ended at 5:00. I thought it was 6:00. Arriving 15 minutes free 5:00 we could not get the happy hour prices which saddened me. So we went ahead and had delicious wine, fried cheese curds, and homemade chips. At 3:00 AM we called the front desk for a taxi and it was there when we came down. Again, the staff was very friendly and accommodating even at that hour. I would love to go back to this beautiful city but could probably not afford to stay here again. (This was included with our cruise price). But hats off to the Westin! A wonderful stay!

Westin was okay. Service wasnt bad (but didn't exceed expectations) and the food was just okay. It's in a great location though, next to Stanley park and waterfront. Didn't stay overnight so cant comment on rooms.

Great Hotel! They were renovating aspects of the hotel while I visited, such as the buffet area, yet my experience was still wonderful! Great location right near Stanley Park and the Harbor. It is within walking distance of Canada Place and some good restaurants, but is a bit of a walk to get into the heart of the city. Overall, great, great experience!

Top Hotel in a prime location, next to Stanley Park. Super restaurants and many shops in a very short time, in the city's 15 minutes are to walk. Starbucks is directly in the hotel.

The Westin was like any other Westin, clean good quality rooms-frirndly service. The room I was in had an excellent view of the water/skyline. Two complaints were that the resteraunt service was rather slow, and that valet left our car out overnight. We asked them to move it and they said they would-however it was in the same spot when we called for it the next day. Regardless, I would stay there again.

Very luxurious service was great. Was our first time as overnight guests. We had room service and we were thrilled. Definitely an experience worth repeating.

There was a line up when we checked in. The associate acknowledged our patient while waiting in line and was friendly. She answered all our questions patiently and professionally. We felt welcome. The shower floor was a bit dirty but it was just a shower so it was fine with us. Would be best if we can get slippers in the room and have outlets close by beds for phone charging.

My first experience with BayShore Westin was about 10 years ago when I joined a conference in February. Excellent location with beautiful view of the bay and the mountain across the ocean! Crispy air, quiet neighbourhood, friendly staff at the hotel, huge and modern conference rooms, amazing shops on the street, and tons of choices of restaurant.

Was here for the ISS show. Beautiful facility. Ease of movement. Fast Wi-Fi. A great place for a business setting.

I got a room with a nice view of the Harbour. The hotel is a little further from downtown then I like but still very walkable. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Attended a day meeting at the hotel, comfortable meeting room with a nice a view and had some drinks at SeawellBat after, also a great space to have a few early after work or conference drinks.

Had a great time and an event on one of the yatchs docked outside the hotel. Staff was excellent and food tasted great.

Very nice location, and really outstanding service from top to bottom. Clean hotel with decent rooms although nothing that blew me away. But 5 stars for perfect service this week.

I stayed at the Westin this weekend with my boyfriend for our anniversary, and we were surprised with a complimentary room upgrade as well as champagne and berries from the staff to help our celebration. The staff were efficient in their service, and always accommodative to our needs. The Vida spa was relaxing, clean, and something I would find myself going back to regardless of whether or not I am staying at the hotel.

Excellent Coal Harbour location, Carderos next door for lunch and fabulous spa services on site. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved this hotel. We were upgraded to a harbor view room, and the view was amazing. Great location on the water, adjacent to Stanley Park. Very walkable neighborhood, with some restaurants and cafes nearby.

We will never stay at your hotel again. Charging 41$ to park for one night is absolutely ridiculous. We have stayed at many hotels and never paid for parking. Four Seasons Whistler did not charge for valet parking and also had a free shuttle to take you anywhere and pick you up. That was the worst hotel experience we have ever had.

Overpriced hotel with average customer service and rooms are juat like any $150/night hotel. Water front location is nice but you need to walk quite far or grab a taxi to head down to the city center strip. I would not recommend this hotel.

Beautiful views, reasonably quiet rooms, friendly customer service door to door, and convenient location to the seawall paths and business district. Bookings fill up in advance frequently and pricing is above average, but overall very much worth a stay during business and personal visits to Vancouver.

His was my number one go to Hotel in Vancouver. The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver is a large resort type hotel in the middle of the city. In side I love the layout and large wide lobby, and a very attentive staff. As a telecom consultant I traveled extensively over two years from the US to this hotel many many times, arrived at many different times and the staff was always helpful. There is also a large pool and well equipped workout gym. I stayed in the low rise buildings a few times but my favorite is the tower rooms where I stayed most times. The rooms were always clean and the views were awesome. To wake up and see the vistas of Stanley Park, the Crew boats rowing is unbelievable wonderful. They a few places to eat and the bar on the waterside was a welcome break from a days work. Need something to do in the city, you can just walk downtown and enjoy a very vibrant bustling city with loads of stores and more to do. My favorite place and highly recommend it.

This is a large, busy, hotel. We stayed in the tower with harbor views; the room was fantastic; large and comfortable with a nice balcony to watch the seaplanes from. The only problem we had was the bathroom door, which slides, came off its tracks. Good value for Vancouver.

I stayed here for two nights. Dinner was great at this hotel. The service was great. The harbor view is of course beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the City of Vancouver.

If you are traveling as a family and need 2 beds. Beware. Double beds only here and they are as hard as the one your gramma has had in her spare room since 1984. Do not eat at the Seawall restaurant. Well you can. But will soon realize why I said dont. The celery was good. Staff is great. Location is great and the pool worked but that just gets you to okay.

I've always loved the Westin Bayshore. If your're looking for a great way to experience the bustle of Vancouver mixed with all the beauty the city has to offer this is the hotel. Great location for walking to Robson street, or to Stanley Park. Friendly, clean, fresh.
