I really appreciate the kind and compassionate customer service my family and I received.

Extremely disheartened and disappointed with this hotel and the treatment towards me. First of all when I checked in, they required a credit card as to which I don't usually have. But they don't usually pry the way they have this time. I'm on a medical trip for my sick baby. The lady at the front desk let us stay anyways because their credit card system was down and they weren't aware my credit card wasn't going to work but checked me in anyways. Monday September 19th after a long day of appointments at BC Children's Hospital they called up and said there was a problem with my credit card and that I have to pay $250 damage deposit, which I don't have! I asked her on the phone if I could pay it when I do get money and she said no. So I try find someone to send me money for the $250 damage deposit and put my baby down for her nap because we've been up since 6am because she woke up with a severe fever and vomited in her sleep on the bed. Anyways they call again during her nap a cpl hours later and say to go pay the damage deposit. I go down to get an order and the lady asks me to pay again. I still have no money to pay this damage deposit and tell her I don't know what you want me to do, I have no money. She says we'll give us your ID this is our policy and Hope Air is responsible for not informing you of this before hand.

Love this place all their amenities are so amazing! Love to bust this Hoyle again & again.

I was Very impressed, the manager and staff was very friendly and helpful. Just want to say thank you to the manager for making an exception he saved me that day. Will be coming back for sure.

Terrific amenities and we use it for all of our sports/ concert events since it is so close.

They have really friendly staff and it's a nice quiet, clean hotel.

This hotel is in a great location. It has lots of parking (@ $23/day) but is also very close to the skytrain station on Cabmie/Broadway. The hotel was quiet. Bed are comfortable and rooms are equipped with basics, with more available upon request. The staff is the best part of the hotel. They are friendly and helpful and I shared many laughs with them over just three days. I travel often with work and this was one of the best says. Will be back for sure!

Pool was very cold. No hot tub. Over priced. Food in restaurant was cheaply made and over priced. My rare steak came well done. The kids meal sides were wrong and I was told that's how it comes but the menu was different. The beds weren't great. The ac was loud and the room was still too hot. It is a 2 star hotel with 4 star prices. We were told we got free upgrades that they charged us for and were asked for our cocktail voucher at the restaurant which we were never offered. It was like they give free things to others and we missed out.

The only reason there getting a 1 star is because the room and the view were not bad and comfortable. I stayed 1 night and my grandparents stayed 4 nights. The room did not include breakfast. It seemed almost most people had the breakfast included. The other thing is they included 1 pair a slippers and there was 2 people staying the room. We inquired with the front desk and they said for the additional pair it was $5. The room isn't cheap either and this was something they didn't include and breakfast. We were not happy, we contacted the management and have not received any call back or e-mail. It's been about 2 weeks.

I had a wonderful experience here! The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially since I'm from the US and have never been to Vancouver before. They also exchanged our American currency too without any problem. The room service was prompt and friendly and the room was clean and modern. Considering this was one of the cheaper hotels in town, I think we did pretty good! I'd love to stay here again if I visit Vancouver in the future.

Very good hotel! Big rooms, very clean, nicely styled. Nice swimming pool to jump in after a day in the city. Enough towels to get. Close to the train station so good location. Breakfast buffet was very nice as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

Love having a room with a balcony. My bed had a partial view of downtown perfect for watching the sunset in comfort. Lots of extras on the room like water and slippers show the hotel is paying attention to differentiate itself. Common areas are small and elevator waits can be long.

I was going to give them a 5 star rating after my 12 nights stay, but on the way of checking out… I must take 2 stars away. The management should be mindful at training their staffs to be aware of which guest is line up and which guest just cut through the line up. I waited in the line up for a while a little kid, just cut through the line and ask for password for the computer in business center. And another 2 Chinese women, cut the line to check out their units. I confronted that 2 women but the staff wasn't aware and choose to service that 2 women who didn't respect other 3 people in the line up for a good 10 minutes. One negative experience ruin the whole experience. That kid is small, so I don't mind him cutting the line. That 2 Chinese women are fully grown adults. Hotel staffs should reject their requests and ask them to line up. July 23 update: Please remember I can understand Chinese conversation. One of the woman is in fact just returning her key. The other woman in fact was checking out her room just like me. That made all three people in the line up feeling like an idiot. Now, if I feel like an idiot, how should I give 5 star for my experience? Another point to mention, what's little kid doing in the business center? Is he the next Gill Gates? Or just playing online games? I still maintained 3 stars to recognize the rest of the team are awesome and their dedication to serve all people.

It's a great place. I just don't suggest getting the hotel to cater your events. The food is definitely not the highlight. Also why the frick can't I get food from the pub at 11pm?

Great location. Good staff. Unfortunately one elevator was out when we were here, but only a minor annoyance. Room was comfortable, bed was a bit too firm (they should use the beds the holiday inn express in Toronto)

A typical North American hotel, this Holiday Inn is beige and fine. The room is comfortable and brown; it's in a pretty good location, halfway between the airport and downtown; it's quite beige; the room is comfortable without being exciting; it's fine and good.

Hospitality was too good, very friendly and professional. Had comfortable beds and pillows. Always served with smiling face. They helped to get taxi on need. Location: close to bus station and train station They had coffee maker and small refrigerator. They have wheel chair accessible entrance, swimming pool, complementary breakfast buffet. Nearby there are many shopping places.

I appreciate the attention to details, attentiveness of the staff and extended help at all times. From handling my delayed arrival luggage, calling cabs, places to eat suggestions and others. The setting was impecable, very clean and nice decor. My view was mesmerizing.

Do Not Stay here! Our car was broken into in the parkade. It is not secured and they charge over $20 a night! They wouldn’t even refund it all. Horrible hospitality. They should warn people before offering them parking so freely. It is also free and cheaper at way nicer hotels like the Sheraton! There is no hot tub and the pool is cold. Also the housekeeper was there at 8 am knocking on the door to come in. Horrible scheduling obviously not her fault. I have stayed at many places in van and I will not return to this one! Not impressed.

It is clean, beds are comfy, lots of pillows, has k cup coffee maker in room, a fridge. Listed in elevator of whats available in the their restaurant. I had breakfast and lunch there in past. It was good and a decent price.

Excellent location to hospital fast and asian greek italian indian food choices close proximity. Hotel food was good had lunch buffet. Hotel has pool.

Room was clean and the bed comfortable. We got a room away from the elevator so the room was very quiet. Hotel location is conveniently located and staff was friendly.

I wasn't told the room rate increases each night I was there. The elivater was loud made it hard to sleep. I'm not used to the noise. Nice workers … seemed clean.

Great hotel and wonderful front line staff. Water pressure is low in comparison to other Holiday Inn's but still a great places to stay.

I really liked the service and parts. The beds were very comfortable and it was close to many restaurants.

I didn’t stay there but I went for a 2 day conference and they had absolutely delicious gluten free food for me and great service!

Clean sheets and beds. Well stocked bathrooms and well lit rooms. Close proximity to many food favorites and right next door to a blendz coffee shop. The parking is a bit of a pain in the butt but the location is pretty nice.

Room was. On 11th floor. Great view. The front desk staff was helpful. Water was available for purchase. The toilet was lacking ar circulation. Free breakfast for adults. We purchased it for kids because the free breakfast for kids didn't have much options. Not even milk n cereal.

Decent hotel but unfriendly and rude restaurant staff. I had a horrible experience told by the restaurant staff, whom I generously provided with service tip for four days, that I was being watched on camera and action will be taken if I shared a morsel of food on my kids plate, it was told to me that they preferred the food thrown away rather than eaten, as it was from a discounted kids buffet! They totally forgot that I order generously for all adults and this pointing out was more humiliating and disrespectful rather than trying to pick up someone who had been stealing their food and committing a crime worth observing on the camera and being warned by the restaurant staff! Sad end to my stay in Vancouver! I ended up paying for the few morsels that I ate from my kids plate to avoid it being thrown, with the price of full adult buffet and walked off with sadness at the attitude of the restaurant staff, who did not deserve the generous tip I had been giving them for four days!

Excellent service, excellentes accommodations.

I attended the Holiday Inn for a work conference. The location was ideal as it was near the SkyTrain. The staff were amazingly attentive. My only complaint would be the limited number of bathrooms in the lobby area for the amount of people who attended this conference.

Much better than I expected. Up to date decor and very nice staff. Great value and location, 10$ can ride to right down town.

Clean. Awesome views from the balcony. Close to the metro to easily get to downtown. Could easily hear neighbor's voices through the party door which was unusual for a hotel.

Beautiful Vista views from the balconies. Decent restaurant on site. Lots of activities and events near by.

Very pleasant staff and quite decent food for the seminar. Wall paper was classic old wallpaper and washrooms were quite dated. Conference room had nice large windows and decent HVAC which was a bonus.

Good location. Public transport easily accessible. Many restaurants around within walking distance.

The holiday inn room I was in was clean. Beds are comfortable and the room was fairly quiet for a light sleeper like me. Restaurant food was delicious. All the staff I interacted with were friendly.

Hotel was very clean, food was tasty. Location is very central to all of Vancouver's great sites. Lots of parking. Easy to find.

I found the front desk staff at the Broadway Holiday Inn welcoming and genuinely pleasant. The lobby is well lit, and the ballroom off the lobby spacious. The hotel was very clean and the carpets and furnishings modern and in good repair. The event I attended was catered by the hotel. The food was very fresh, and the selection thoughtful, with local strawberries and cream raspberries among the fruit tray. The vegetables were also fresh and the dip selections yummy. Good tea selections. My impression is favourable, and I recall rooms my parents rented there some years back were spacious. My quibble is the entry needs more natural light and some relief from a grey expanse of cement with some plantings or…? to break up the grey.

The service was wonderful and easy. No fuss, no muss whatsoever. We needed extra towels and they were brought to the room almost instantly. They even upgraded us upon finding out that we were members by giving us a room with a balcony. Beds were comfortable and clean, not to mention, the small keurig was a nice surprise. The staff were also accommodating in extending our check out time till 2pm without any extra charge. Breakfast in the restaurant the next morning was fabulous. We ordered and perhaps even under 5 minutes we recieved our food cooked to perfection. Very pleased with everything.

I went up to my room found out it just had one bed and my friend from our of town wanted to stay with me so I went back down and requested a room with two beds. So they only charged me 10 dollars for the room upgrade I was pretty stoked about that then later that night my friend arrived shortly after he licked his keys in his truck and we were trying to unlock his door the manager came walking by saying I had unregistered guests now instead of getting there information that we were trying to provide. The manager threatens to kick me out of my room for having un registered guest I am not from Vancouver and neither was my friend he had to go sleep in his truck because if he didn't u was gonna loose my room. Also my room was rented for me so I could attend a physiatrist appt at 7 am the next morning and the manager was saying lots if brutal stuff I tried to record it on my phone but accidently snapped picture instead of record video.

Great hotel. Awesome view, awesome breakfast buffet, excellent service and centrally located. I stayed twice. The West side view is most awesome as is the East side view. The pool overlooks the beautiful scenery. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms at this particular holiday inn were clean. The staff was phenomenal! They were always going above and beyond providing services that I have not received at other hotels. They were kind and caring. The housekeeping staff greeted me every morning with a friendly hello. It is a great place to stay.

We just held our Parents 60th Wedding Anniversary Celebration at the Hotel and can say nothing but the best about this hotel and it's staff. The parents stayed overnight in the hotel and loved their stay so much. Special thanks to Len Rogers for the fantastic food and going above and beyond to make sure our parents had a very special night and morning breakfast as well. They loved the whole event and are very thankful for everyone that made their celebration and stay so special.

We loved it, amazing place. We held my daughter's 18th birthday here and Manager Courtney was really great, very helpful, accommodating and the rest of the staff are very friendly. It is a very convenient place to go, shops nearby, too many restaurant in the neighbourhood and very multi cultural place, near downtown and so many scenic spots to go. It is an awesome place to stay.

Really a nice place to stay. Beds very comfy and bathroom SUPER CLEAN. My only complaints involved the noise and the lack of towel bars. I'm more than happy to reuse my towels, but you do have to have someplace to hang them up. The noise was mostly in the hallways, but one morning it was the folks on the other side of the adjoining door… they may as well have been in the same room with us!

Very clean. Good free internet. The on site restaurant is absolutely excellent and the breakfast and lunch buffet, while not huge have a very well prepared selection. You won't be bored even with a long stay. They also have a pretty good indoor pool. Minuses: very small gym, no hot tub. That's why no 5 star.

Booked a night with them through Expedia, so sometimes you can't expect much, but it turned out to be a great stay. We had a big exam the next day downtown, so we asked to be on an upper floor on the quiet side of the building. They delivered on that, plus they let us do a very let check-out on request. Very hospital and accommodating. They made a stressful exam weekend much more tolerable.

The worst holiday inn I've ever lived. I dont know what happened to the air conditioner, erery night I ofen woke up with lip totally dry. Even my skin is totally dry, my throat is dry, I often wake up and gust for freash air with window opened. The most unbelievable thing is that the airconditioner only have cold and warm mode. Are you kidding me, in 21 century you don't even have air conditioner that can adjust the the specific temperature. One day I feel hot, I adjust it to cold mode, next day I had a fever. What a terrible hotel I am living. The cleaner often intrude my room without my permission, they just knocked the door for 5second s, and entered my room without my permission. Take away the food I didn't finished.

Beautiful room, view; close enough to every possible ammenitie. Great breakfast. Beautiful walk to Granville Island. Friendly staff.

Hotel room is modern, clean, and spacious. Free Wi-Fi is fast. Parking is convenient at nearby public garage, though not free. Elevator can get very slooooww, so budget some time. Location is great with many shops nearby.

Comfy beds and pillows. Nice clean rooms. Big flat screen tvs. Nice views on higher floors.

Food and service was great. Wifi was a nice touch.

Lovely hotel, super friendly staff. As platinum members, we were able to get an upgrade to a small suit with an amazing view of the city on the 15th floor, can't lose waking up and overlooking the bay!

I had a work meeting here and stayed over night. The food provided during the meeting was good and they didn't run short of anything. The rooms where quite, clean, modern and the beds were comfortable. No complaints.

Spent 2 nights at the Hotel. 11/1 thru 11/3/2015. It was a great location, many amenities and great staff. Gasper at Reception, Jack in the restaurant and Dolly our maid were examples of great friendly customer service. The fitness centre on the 5th floor was convenient, safe and clean. Used the fitness equipment and the pool. Really enjoyed that. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. Try the breakfast excellent. Everyone of the staff that we came in contact with were examples of happy and satisfied employees. Close to the City Hall Train Station which is convenient to Vancouver City and YVR Airport. Good selection of restaurants in the area. Safe and Clean neighborhood. We will be back. Thanks.
