I have traveled to many places and stayed in several hotels and this is far the WORST. Terrible Terrible service. The Internet sign is terrible but the worst is when we stayed, there was no Hot Water so it was impossible to take a shower, when we reported in the lobby they just said it was the same in all the rooms and they cannot do anything. I made a complaint with them because it is not possible to pay a service and not to receive the service we pay for, then I ask them to speak with the Manager and they didn’t want me to speak with the manager, they told me I was not able to contact the Manager and if I want they would tell the manager, but not us. That’s why I will have to make an official complaint in the Consumer Protection of British Columbia Branch ruled by the law, and I encourage everyone who has a problem in this place, to do the same thing. They are clearly taking advantage of the tourists taking for granted tourists don’t know how to make official complaints. They were rude and just tried to hid information and denied me to speak with the Manager. TERRIBLE service!

This room was clean but the hotel hasn't been updated in ages. I kept having problems with the key card. It didn't work in the parking garage to get to the hotel proper. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a sauna available.

A bit dated but private garage, new carpets and beds make for a very comfortable, safe stay. Great location.

All staff were incredible, if I could write a review on them alone I'd give this a 5 star. I think the woman's name who was working the front desk the night we checked in is Rosalie. She was very helpful and kind. The housekeeping staff were also extremely helpful and wonderful. The hotel alone was over priced and falling apart. Pieces of the ceiling were missing, the carpet in our room was stained and torn. There was a cracked mirror with caution tape in front of our room. Our AC unit was broken. The beds were uncomfortable.

The hotel was Great, nice, clean and comfortable room. Great location Tea and coffee available Secured underground parking Staff were friendly and hospitable.

1) Spider in the tub.
2) Non-smoking room reeked of tobacco odour.
3) Air-conditioning unit was broken.
4) I was told that an additional person in the room (child 11yrs) was not allowed. They made me pay for an extra single room at $220 (even more expensive than the double queen that I got)
5) $250 deposit which was ridiculously higher than the actual rent for a room…
6) I had to flush a tuft of hair in the toilet.
7) The other tub that we had had a cockroach leg that I had to run with water before anybody else in the family took a shower Should we repeat this experience? No, thank you! Even if you pay us a $1000!

Lady smoking a crack pipe outside the building, there was a crazy, no toothed man shrieking in the parkade who must be a resident of the building. Rooms were nasty, hot, and humid. Stained walls and water damaged ceilings. And probably 40 year old stained dirty carpet. Place smells like mold. Dont let the pics fool you. You would be better off sleeping in your car than this nasty old run down place.

IVE stayed at many hotels through out mt life and I HAVE NEVER been so unhappy with my stay was their for a total of 8.5 hours … 5 to sleep and 2 to work out and 1 to arrive and depart. Appon arriving we found stained carpets and a. Dirty bed (thank goodness I bring. My own bedding) and wen we called was told had work out. Room. And sana. Work out room was a must due to one of us needed it to Prep for a mma Tournament in the morning. Which was closed down for the weekend. Now we walked through the whoe building looking for said. Work out room and lost one of the room towels (no signs say don't bring towels out of room) we. Dropped one towel through the building… And when we tryed to check out the clirk had us run through. All floors looking for it when someone coulda grabbed it. Now I offered him to Look through my car even thou I KNEW I didn't take it… Wassnt possable with so little we brought in … He didn't want to so he knew we didn't take it … He coulda. Taken it him self … He refused to give us the full deposit back till it was found or paid for … Now I'm. Not paying even more for something I didn't take and I didn't get was was promised to me even when I paid for it… Wasn't till a coworker started her shift that I got my full deposit back and she didn't understand why the man was being so rude… It felt like he was trying to.

Booked to 2 nights but we did not like the room so we asked the staff If they can refund 1 days If we check out early, he said yes, no problem. We went to different hotel and called to get the refund, another staff said It is non-refundable. They just scammed our money. This is absolutely ridiculous. I am warning everyone who wants to stay here, be careful.

My guests chose this hotel as it was the only one which have conjugated bedrooms as an option. At the check in we found out they don’t even have conjugated bedrooms. They also don’t serve breakfast (and that was included on the price they paid). The maid didn’t clean the room everyday to a point they were out of toilet paper and garbage bins were full! The Wi-Fi password only lasts 24h and you can only connect 2 devices on it but honestly they had to ask for a password twice a day. As if it wasn’t enough the security deposit that they took in the check in they didn’t receive back in the check out, cause apparently it takes 3-5 days to process it, it has already passed 5 days and when I called the receptionist she said she’s gonna give me a copy of the voided receipt she sent to the bank and that at this point it’s not their responsibility anymore and that I should contact the bank directly.
Honestly is a completely unorganized place, with unprepared staff and management. If we knew about all that we would definitely booked a better place for bit more.

A very cozy place ideal for a relaxing.

I used to work in this hotel and this is what I can say. The hotel's owner does not care whether rooms are clean or not, she only care for the income. There is only 1 regular housekeeper and some here and there. They don't clean all the room everyday. If guest asked for towels you have to go to the laundry to get some. No stock up for sachet coffee, creamer, towels, soap and other room necessities. Every room has a big surprise to everyone, some has no toilet papers, broken lights, cold, no towels etc. More often we sell room that is marked clean in the system but is actually dirty, so guest would end up upset. They don't buy supplies, no pens, scotch tape, scissors, liquid marker, etc. To use in the front desk. They don't buy coffee on regular basis, most of the time we have no coffee in the lobby, no sugar, no creamers, no cups. If guest complained about the room being cold, we would give them different room right away because It is common, broken heater or AC takes years to fix. They have no regular maintenance guy, the only maintenance guy they have only works part time. No weekends. Wi-Fi is for sale If owner caught you giving away free Wi-Fi you are in big trouble. They change price of the room everyday. 150-200 for small room. And owner will terminate because they don't like you for their own reason, they have no employee that last one year. This place sucks.

Very recomendable place not far from downtown … Great location. Good hotel prices… clean… great food around this hotel. Great access to vancouvers tourist spots. We stayed here seven days and everthing was great… I would definitely return to this hotel again.

The entire staff were super helpful, friendly, and kind hearted which made my stay enjoyable.

Hotel need to shut down. Alarm wakes me up in the middle of the night today. The elevator is not working. You just have to climb to the 3rd floor. Pool is closed. Wifi is not working/very poor signal. Can't even browse. Dirty room and lots of drug dealer looking people living here. Get a room in Days Inn and you'll be happy. I have nothing good to say. Even the front desk people are not helping at all.

This place is scary. Police are everywhere everyday. One time over a dozen of policemen came to handcuffed one guest and every single night you would see police cars on the other side of the street as If the hotel is on their watch list. If you want to have fun during your vacation this is not a place for you, here's some reasons why. -Entrance, lobby is dirty, no coffee ready, they don't answer the phone, you have to get down to the lobby If you want Wifi password. -Room stinks, dust everywhere Just dirty. Beds are not comfy. -Cold, heater is not working for most of the room and they don't provide portable one. -The people that stay there are scary. They are roaming around the lobby the whole day and night seem like they live there forever. -Scary people. -The lobby smells like weeds. -The carper in the hallway had never been cleaned for years. -You will wake up in the middle of the night with a fight next door. -Now, It's up to you If you still want to stay here. And I am not lying these are all TRUE. Lastly, the only good thing about the hotel is the staff in the front desk, they are super friendly especially women staff.

The worst place I ever stayed! Rooms were not cleaned and only two Wi-Fis for a room when 4 adults checked in.

Convenient location and friendly staff. The hotel room and washroom were very old and needed to be renovated, but good reasonable price — around $80 per night. Decent Wi-Fi and TV channels.

Aside from the rude French girl who butt in while I was checking out to go over her room schedule, I thought the staff were very nice. Other than that, I wouldn't stay here again. They charged too much for the room (misleading photos), demand a 200 deposit (even though they have my credit card? ), there were no face cloths or proper towels, there was no opening windows or exhaust fan in the room (hello humidity and black mould), and the "spa" should be closed entirely. This place clearly has an owner that doesn't really care about the quality of stay that their guests receive.

Older hotel dated fixtures in rooms. First room the heat was boiling hot and the TV didn't work. It had an ugly outside light fixtures inside room. They moved me to second room which was a little never. Tv still didn't work! They never bothered to update their room clocks after the time change so I got up an hour too early even though I was dead tired. Beds need comforters froze to death Cheap old hotel next time i'll spend extra get a brand name.

My guests that stayed there said the Wi-Fi was not working and they had to go downstairs to front desk to get a password everyday or at least attempt to get better reception. But front desk made them give them 5 star rating on fb in front of them in order to get the password and since they didn't have Wi-Fi yet, they had to use roaming to give the 5 stars. This hotel isn't what you think your getting for the price $200.00 per night! … Pictures lie! It was dirty! carpets were so stained and old. The bathroom counters need to be reattached. The sauna and hot tub area wasn't very clean and sanitary like it should be! Didn't work half the time! NEED TO BE UPDATED! The Staff were very nice and tried to be as accommodating. But charging you for your whole stay before you get the chance to see the rooms. AND NO REFUNDS! We couldn't even go elsewhere! We were not very happy!

As this was the cheapest hotel we could find on thanksgiving weekend at $157 a night… we were down for soccer… disgusting hotel… smells, old, dirty, and even came with an alarm clock of a mouse that was scratching through a hole beside my bed… beds were unconfrotanle and the piles were horrible… def save your money and sleep elsewhere Would not recommend it… when I told front desk and showed a pic of the hole and the mouse they just said thanks we will look into it: ( ( (

Me and my buddies were in Vancouver to see guns n roses at bc place September 1st. We waited too long to book any hotels in downtown van so we took our chances with the Cassandra although this place has received a lot of scrutiny. As we entererd we were introduced to a distinct odor that was reminiscent of a barn. There was an enormous desk beside our room door which was a little bit of an obstacle to get around. When we got to our room we agreed that it wasn't too bad, a little dated but all in all it was reasonable. When we woke up the next morning and sobered up we realized how bad it was… holes in curtains garbage under the beds vending machine was out of order and the pool door was locked. I was going to shower and I was immediately disgusted by wads of hairs in the bathtub. I tried to wipe them up and it left the cloth looking brown. The shower has few modes scolding, freezing, pelting, or dribbling… Very hard to control the nozzles. We will probably never stay here again but it was our only option.

Bugs in the bathroom, peeling siding. Probably was a good hotel in its heyday. Now it's just old.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. 285 for the night, rooms were dirtier than a truck stop bathroom and the service was mediocre at best. It was noisy and the beds were uncomfortable. If you have any other options, like sleeping with a rabies infested honey badger, take that instead. This place is a joke.

The attention is good, but inside stuffs had few things that made it feel less pretty. Like curtains with few holes, a dirty window, and few others details. Other than that, it was a quiet and confortable place to spend nights.

Friendly, courteous, accommodating, warm, and engaging staff. The reviews speaking about things being dated, walls needing painting, etc, I feel are short-sighted. They worked on painting, improvements and other cosmetic upgrades my entire almost two week stay. Cleaning staff were sweeter than a chocolate syrup covered triple caramel cheesecake on a bed of icing sugar, topped with whipped cream and fourteen maraschino cherries. Sauna is suitable sized, whirlpool seats many — with strong jets. Close to Safeway, London Drugs and many eateries. Bus stops nearly outside the door and Joyce skytrain station a hop, skip and jump down the hill. Thanks, girls, for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

Place is not good at all! We stayed there Saturday May 06, 2017. Cockroaches in the room, stained carpets and not very clean. On checkout they said we Had 5 towels in the room, when we checked in there was only Four towels, two bath towels one Hand towel and the towel you put on the floor when you shower, and the towels were all thread bare, if you held them up against the window you could see through them. Stay away from this place if you can!

Soooo disappointed. Not recommended at all, beware! You might leave with serious health issues I beat you. You better learn from my mistake, it is totally smelly, this is undiscripable experience. Those who have ears let them hear and be aware. Don't not deserve a 1 star.

Lani the front desk supervisor was amazing. She went above and beyond to ensure we left our experience with smiles on our faces. This hotel had above average customer service. Just be sure to voice yourself in an appropriate manner and they will accommodate you. Thank you so much to the amazing staff at this hotel. I wish you all a wonderful summer :)

Great location. No fridge, no washroom exhaust, no free Wi-Fi. Stayed 3 nights, bed was never done/changed.

If I Could Give Them a BIG 0 STAR I WILL. Do not, and I repeat do not waste your money and time there. I could write up a lengthy review about them but it won't give me justice.

This place was nothing like advertised. Yes the price is low but I have stayed in many low budget hotels and nothing has ever been this bad. The bathrooms are old and the plumbing is bodged. The bed is old and pillows are old. You have to pay for Wi-Fi! (Not acceptable in todays world). There are water marks on the walls and they hold a $200 security fee on your card! It is a long way from downtown but the only good thing about this place is that it is only a short walk to the skytrain. If there was a zero star option that is what I would say.

❌HALF A STAR❌ … what can I say its just a shitty place. better than the palms hotel up the street (better by a mile, ) about the same as the 2400 down the street. If u get your room for less than 70 bucks online then why not.

It is a shame there is no — stars. I would give them — 100 If I could. I mean there are thousands and thousands of reasons If you ask me why would I say that. It is just not me… people who stayed there mostly because there are nowhere else to stay, they all say the same thing… too pricey, bad service. It is simply not a good place to stay. It makes you feel bad at the end… staffs are so unprofessional. They do not seem to know what they are doing. Most importantly, the price is way too high for their quality of the rooms. I mean you name it… no breakfast… you have to pay for the Wi-Fi… It is just ridiculous. I am saying this so you get the idea of what this place is all about. they call this place a hotel but I would rather stay at the motel. It is smarter choice. If you do not believe what I am saying, go ahead and stay there. There are complaints from the guest but nothing has been fixed properly.

Came in to a dirty room hair everywhere no sheet on my bed old box TV no Wi-Fi this hotel is so run down extra charge of 250$ paid 1300+ for poor service in a very tired hotel SPEND THE EXTRA N GO SOMETHING ELSE NOT WORTH IT!

I stayed here for a few month for a business trip, because it has a monthly rental room, it's about 1100/month. On their site, they say "extend whenever you want. " Well, DONT BELIEVE IT, because their management is SHIT I checked in on February before tenth (sorry I couldn't remember the exact time). Before that, I talked them over the phone and talked about renting a room, guess what? That say they need REFERENCE. I don't believe it, it's JUST A HOTEL. Why the hell you need reference for? Besides, there are deposit, so I think there are no need. Luckily, there are some peers at work are willing to help me (thank god) Finally, I checked in. Everything was okay until May, and here's why I say their management is a MESS. The front desk girl asked me how long you will be staying so that I can save the room for you. I said the August. She said okay, I will help you reserved the room. At first, I think they've done it until the end of May, they said you have to move out until June the 6th because your room was reserved by other people. I said:" but you had reserved the room for me until the end of August, what is that? " And they just keep on avoid this question. Well, SCREW YOU PRICK! Get lost! Luckily the business trip ended earlier than I expected, so I lived in someone's apartment for the mean time.

Wow this hotel get money ($121.21) on my credit card without my permission. Careful travelers. When I call them wow staff are very unprofessional.

This hotel has uneducated staff its a worst staff. That only I can say. They need to go back to school and get some manners.

My father stayed here for his first night in Vancouver. He is a non smoker and specifically asked for a non smoking room. The next morning while checking out they accused him of smoking and refused to return his $200 cash deposit even after he offered to let them search his belongings to see that he did not even have a lighter or matches. My father contacted the police and was told that it wasn't the first time they had "this type of complaint from that business" and advised him that all he could do was to take them to civil court. I myself have called the hotel several times but every time I do I am put on hold for up to five minutes just to be told that "the manager isn't in right now".

This is the worst place I've ever had to stay in. Staff is so unfriendly. They can't even bring you items that you ask for they bring bath mats for towels. The pictures on here don't look like anything you see here. Stained carpets. The whirl pool is in a dungy creepy basement. You have to pay for Wi-Fi. Cable reception is really bad. Housekeeping is so poorly done that when we walked in the room one of the first things we seen was a condom. If you are planning a holiday in Vancouver please book a room elsewhere ahead of time so you are not stuck in a place like this.

Never will we stay here again. You have to pay $8 for the wireless, the rooms are dirty, full of mold and stink like smoke. Not very friendly staff at all! We made a reservation and when we arrived we realized it was a run down hotel and the Chinese man working the front desk said we couldn't get out of our reservation as we were 3 hours over if we wanted to cancel. What a joke! Don't ever stay here it may be damaging to your health because of the mold. The health inspection should be called and this place should be shut down.

I had initially booked two nights through expedia. We were to spend two nights camping and then two nights at the hotel. However, our trip took a turn for the worse when my son got sick. We left our camp ground and tried to book another two nights at the hotel. I explained to the front desk that we had a bit of an emergency and needed a bed for my sick son. He told us that he was unable to give us a room. I asked him if he was completely booked. He said no, but he couldn't give us a room at the rate we had paid online. I told him that was fine, I just needed to rent a room for two nights and then I could check out and re-check in for the later two nights. He then told me that since I was checking in late at night and on a last minute basis he would have to charge me an extra $100.00 a night on top of the regular $170.00 per night. I walked out. We ended up staying at a friends on an air mattress. The next day I went online and booked a room for $90 for the night. When we checked in that day and then checked out and re-checked in, everything went smoothly. I did not have to deal with that front desk clerk again and found everyone else that I did have to deal with pleasant and accommodating. The first room we stayed in was not great. Mold in the bathrooms, bathroom and room really needed an update. The smell and cleanliness was ok. Not great but ok. The second room was much better. More well kept and much more care put into the room. Overall it was an okay stay.

Hotel was good but had to pay for the internet.

The hotel is located downtown outside of Vancouver. The public transport links is okay. 8min drive to the Skytrain station and 15 min walk way. We had two rooms, of which one was neat that others had so its quirks. The bathroom had some say schmodder make ugly. Front desk very helpful. We were able to case 4 days keep leave when we were in seattle. All in all okay price only 3 stars for the but due to the location and connectivity.
